Located in Daimaru, directly connected to Tokyo Station, is "Meat Yazawa and Blackhouse," a popular takeout spot known for its famous hamburgers. They handle carefully selected A5 rank premium Japanese black wagyu beef and have various branches. This establishment offers a combination of the renowned hamburger shop Meat Yazawa in Gotanda and the burger shop Blackhouse in Ebisu. Situated on the basement 1st floor of Daimaru Tokyo's food floor, it is conveniently located just a short walk from the Yaesu Central Exit. The menu features a variety of bento boxes, with hamburgers being the main attraction, as well as luxurious grilled meat bento boxes using sirloin, fillet steak, and chateaubriand. They also offer a wide selection of items such as wagyu beef cutlet sandwiches and juicy hamburgers. Among the options, I chose the most striking bento box, the "Ultimate Flavor Bento" priced at 10,000 yen, which includes a 70g chateaubriand steak, a 90g sirloin steak, and a 180g hamburger. As each item is cooked to order, it takes about 10 minutes to prepare. After payment, you receive a ticket number for pick-up later. I had some time to spare, so I chose a specific pick-up time. The luxurious black bento box exudes a sense of elegance, resembling a traditional New Year's feast. Opening the lid reveals a lavish assortment of meat in every corner! The classic hamburger comes with a special sauce, and underneath the sirloin and chateaubriand steaks, there is a bed of rice. The side dishes typical of Meat Yazawa are also included, making you feel as if you were at the original store in Gotanda. When you cut into the 100% Japanese black wagyu hamburger, the juices flow out, allowing you to enjoy that meaty hamburger even on the train. The chateaubriand steak is incredibly tender, with a rich flavor that surpasses the realm of a bento box. This truly is a treasure trove of meat, with a perfect balance of appearance, taste, and aroma. I enjoyed this meal in the Green Car of the Shinkansen, and the size fit perfectly on the table, with enough space for a drink. Since there were few passengers, I didn't worry too much about the smell, but the aroma would definitely attract envy from those around me. Whether as a treat for yourself during your journey or as a luxurious gift, this quality bento box is sure to be appreciated. If you're looking for a meat bento box, be sure to consider this premium option made with authentic Japanese beef.
