Kanda / Ramen Jiro Kanda Store [Jiro Virgin Graduation Store.] During the heyday of Mixi, I created a ramen category in the albums and made up to three albums. I uploaded up to 100 photos for each album, so making three albums means I ate between 201 and 300 meals. When I was a university student, I thought Jiro ramen was garbage in the ramen genre and was not interested at all, rather avoided it. However, as a working adult, I remember losing my Jiro virginity in Kanda about 6-7 years ago. At that time, my previous job was in Kanda, and I used to go there occasionally. It was around the time Jirorian, who answered interviews after being robbed, and the now famous Always Nike were born. "Jiro always surpasses the high passing score level." At that time, I was in a phase of clashing with the bouncers at Jiro. (Personally, the bouncers were really delicious.) It was like Jiro was too much → the bouncers were too much → Tachikawa Machimashi, saying various things. And as a Jiro beginner, how many times I failed miserably at this store... On my first visit, I managed to finish the noodles but tried to hide the pork, sinking it in the soup lake, and even had to leave some food uneaten. On the second and third visits, I honestly apologized to the shop owner for leaving the pork, and there were a few times I left it. I also remember saying, "Shoga Mashi!" and being told, "Sorry, we don't have ginger here." (This was because of the bouncers) I also remember bringing a colleague's super slender big eater Madonna or a delicate girl, but succumbing to the pressure from the men in the next batch, making her regretfully half-crying, "I could have eaten it if I had more time," like a former swimmer. I also went to Kitchen Nankai, Sabouru, and Kurosu on their 5th day of opening. Shio, Katsumoto, Tsujita, Imoya, Ethiopia, nostalgic~. Kanda, filled with such memories. Sorry, that was a long introduction, haha. Now, after finishing a health checkup, I decided to head to Kanda for the best bowl of ramen. There were 30 people in line. I was really on the verge of giving up, but I lined up. In the end, I lined up for 2 hours. (There is definitely room for improvement in the operation) (I properly used my paid time off) And now, it's not a 6-person batch, but a 5-person batch, which surprised me. And worst of all, I ended up being the first in the next batch. I ordered a small ramen (half noodles) with quail eggs. Seeing the owner's appearance after several years, memories from that time flashed back intensely. Yes, he was a craftsman-like shop owner who grumbled a lot~ I was quite happy to remember that. And with my batch, I was the only one with half noodles, and while the assistant was checking the noodle amounts for the customers, I felt a bit sorry as he seemed angry, saying, "Even if you ask for half noodles, you're not measuring properly, like, what does 'half' mean~" I think it's actually more disrespectful if you can't finish it, you know, because Kanda is really abnormal in terms of quantity, so I seriously thought that it takes time for first-time visitors who can't finish it to struggle and take a long time until they leave! There is definitely a way to improve the operation, I want them to earn more, so I want them to rethink their approach. I kept staring at the kitchen, wondering how much half noodles really are. I was surprised to see that they put the noodles in from the last person served! They lined up five bowls and the noodles were the last to be put in, which was my half noodles. The way they make Delo noodles ✕ productivity, I see, I understand this. And the call. Garlic, extra firm, extra cabbage, extra pork fat, please. The bowl was served. I was relieved by the abundance of vegetables. And this water surface. This soup, half cloudy. This is the essence of Kanda. There were no ladles, so I had my first kiss with the bowl and the soup... Next time, Vol. 2, definitely check it out.
