Due to the early time of day, we were fortunate to secure a same-day reservation. The restaurant quickly filled up after we arrived, and those who came later were turned away, so I believe reservations are essential. Following the recommendation of a friend who frequents the restaurant, we ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were excellent and allowed us to fully enjoy pork. The "steamed pork" is a must-try! The daily special menu on the whiteboard also featured beef, so I plan to try that next time.

I had been itching to go to Mizuki-tei ever since my friend told me about this super delicious pork offal restaurant in Kyoto. The restaurant is located near Kyoto Station, which is a very Kyoto-like location in a sense. It was the first time I saw a restaurant with "pork offal" written boldly on the sign. The interior of the restaurant is not new, but it has a clean and calming atmosphere. The pork offal I was looking for was thinly sliced, with both lean and fatty cuts available. The fatty cuts had a lot of fat, but it depends on personal preference. I found both types to be delicious and even got some as a souvenir. The grilled offal was amazing regardless of the cut, with a tasty sauce that never got boring, and I ended up eating quite a lot. The offal hot pot made me hesitate for a moment due to its strong pork smell, but it was a miracle that it smelled bad yet tasted good. As it simmered, the soup became richer, and I got lost in it by the end. I had made a reservation for 5 pm, but by around 7 pm, the restaurant was almost full. From salarymen to solo diners, I think this is a restaurant that can easily become addictive for those who love it!

I was looking for a delicious restaurant around here and I hit the jackpot! When I looked at the photos, the food looked really delicious... The place was empty... Sorry, there are just two of us. Please recommend: steamed pork, liver, tarehile, etc., and pork belly. Everything was delicious! There was a sweetness to the pork and it was amazing. The liver was also delicious, with a great texture. I ended up coming back for more! It was delicious, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.

I went to Saiin for the first time. The difference is that they had tongue, kalbi, and loin. But in the end, I ended up ordering pork, hormone, heavenly meat, and intestines. The sake goes down smoothly. The best. And it is loved by the locals. I love it. Also, the sauce for the steamed pork was slightly light. This is to my liking.

It's been quite a while since I visited. I think it's my third time here? I've used the takeout service for Mushi Buta a few times. On that day, I had Mushi Buta, assorted kimchi, Akasen, kimchi jjigae, tan shio, harami, and more. The signature dish, Mushi Buta, is quite generous even for one serving! The skin is included and it's soft and moist, which is nice. The taste of the meat is decent. For this price, it's totally okay. The sauce is different from the usual chojang, a bit creamy. Maybe sesame? It didn't quite suit my taste. The jjigae is on the lighter side. The harami was good quality meat. The salad was a bit strong in flavor but delicious! The staff are handsome and provide good service.

Hello (￣Д￣)ﾉ Today I am off and wandering around my hometown. For lunch, I decided to visit Mizuki-tei, a restaurant that a friend took me to before. I sat at the counter seat, which has about 7-8 seats, and ordered the steamed pork and tempura instead of the cobukuro that I remember being delicious. I also ordered a ○○ beer to drink. I had the steamed pork, kimchi, tempura, and tetchan (no cobukuro today). The kimchi on top of the steamed pork was delicious, especially when paired with the ○○ beer. I also enjoyed the grilled dishes that were served. I then ordered liver, white rice, and egg soup as my final dishes. The total came to 3250 yen. The liver was cut into large pieces and looked delicious. The egg soup and white rice were a perfect way to end the meal. It was a relaxing and satisfying experience dining alone. I would like to come back with a larger group next time, perhaps for a hot pot. The food was delicious, thank you for the meal! PS It is a cozy restaurant mainly frequented by regulars, but the friendly service of the staff made me feel at ease. I will definitely come back for more delicious dishes, especially since they serve ○○ beer. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance due to the busy tables and counter. The portion is generous and the price is very reasonable considering the quality. Pork offal may not be common in Kansai, but once you try it, you'll be hooked on its healthy and flavorful taste. The staff is friendly and willing to help with any questions you may have.

I used to go to this restaurant, Mizuki-tei, a long time ago. I had never been there before, but it is famous for its pork dishes. The main branch is located in Kujo, but this one is the Nishioin branch, a bit far from Hankyu Nishioin Station. I ordered two steamed pork trotters and one boiled pork to go. I made one trotter into a simmered dish, shredded the meat, and made a stew with it. It was delicious, especially the meat around the bones. I enjoyed it with beer, but the photos didn't turn out well, so I decided not to share them. I froze the remaining trotter for later. It is a tasty pork trotter without any unpleasant smell, so I plan to reheat it and enjoy it simply. I didn't realize that the steamed pork trotters didn't come with sauce, so I was a bit disappointed when I got home. I used a spicy sauce my daughter had bought and soy sauce to eat it. I think it would have been better with the restaurant's sauce. I look forward to trying it at the restaurant next time.

This restaurant is perfect for a midday meal on a day off. I love the fatty part of "steamed pork" so I ordered the regular portion, but they only had the upper part available that day. The real deal, liver, pig's feet are a must. Also, the bean sprouts I ordered for the first time were great.

The taste, texture, and appearance are similar to a certain part of beef, but slightly different and delicious. You can enjoy it for about half the price of beef.

There are no photos, but it was delicious! Six of us from work visited the restaurant. We arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday, which we thought was a bit early, but it was a popular place so making a reservation was the right decision as it was fully booked. The atmosphere was lively with many regular customers. The steamed pork, harami, and tetchan were delicious. The harami was beautifully tender and the tetchan was not too chewy with a nice flavor. The kimchi with grated yam was amazing. The jeon (Korean pancake) was authentic! We were chatting and having a good time, so I don't remember exactly what we ate, but I do remember it was delicious. I want to go back with my husband and take our time next time.

It seems like a great place for pig's trotter lovers, but I'm not interested in pig's trotters or steamed pork... The yakiniku was delicious though.

Steamed pork and Kobukuro are famous dishes at this restaurant. I used to go to the So Kujo branch often, but this is my first time at the Nishiin branch. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats and table seats. The menu is more extensive than the Kujo branch. We started with bottled beer and steamed pork. The steamed pork is tender, without any smell, and delicious. The dipping sauce is also the original from Mizuki-tei. Next, we grilled the pork head, Kobukuro, and beef harami with a special marinade, and ate them as they were cooked. Simple and tasty. If the flavor feels too strong, you can wrap it in lettuce or switch to drinking makgeolli. Enjoying the different parts of the steamed pork is a known pleasure.

Finally, I made it to this place that always comes up when you mention pork. I arrived late, so it had already started when I got there. I had made a reservation for 1:00 PM. When I arrived, it was packed. I left the ordering to the regular customers. First, they brought out steamed pork and water kimchi. The steamed pork was really pink, tender, and moist. It's not something you see often. The water kimchi was less strong than regular kimchi, which I liked. Oh, I could just keep eating and drinking this combo. For the grilled items, we had fillet, tendon meat, liver, and skirt meat, along with chijimi. We drank a lot and it was all under 3000 yen per person. I can see why this place is popular.

Watermoon Tei is a specialty pork yakiniku restaurant. Located on the south side of Kyoto Station (Kujo), this branch is bustling with regular customers in the evening. Despite being a pork specialty shop, they also offer beef options on the menu. I chose the steamed pork, beef harami, pork belly (with sauce), beef tongue, striped pig, and steamed pork. The steamed pork was tender and light, complemented well by their homemade spicy sauce. The beef harami was flavorful and well-marinated. The beef tongue could have been sliced thicker, but it was still good. The striped pig was fresh and delicious, with a nice texture. Overall, I found the food here to be much better than other average yakiniku restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel comfortable despite the somewhat unfamiliar atmosphere. Just be prepared for the lingering smell of smoke, as the ventilation system is not the best. I plan to visit the main branch in Kujo as well to try their different menu offerings.

Despite being tired from drinking day and night, I went out for a drink again from noon this day. The place was already open early, which was convenient. I wandered around the area near Nishin, and I have been to a shop in Kujo before, so I already knew how delicious the steamed pork was. Having it again after a long time, I was impressed once again by its lightness and refreshing taste, which was just right for my tired stomach. I relaxed and drank for a while with just the steamed pork, but eventually my stomach settled down, so I ordered the beef tripe with salt and the fried chicken. They were amazing! My engine started running, and the alcohol kept flowing. The tenderness of the beef tripe and the perfect amount of salt were outstanding. The fried chicken was also tender! It was only 4 o'clock in the evening, but the fact that the place was almost full already was impressive. I understand why it's so popular. I really liked the iced tea highball.
