I revisited the restaurant. On weekends, reservations are only available at 5pm or 7pm, but the restaurant itself is not fully booked. Even if reservations are full, you might be able to get a table by showing up at the restaurant. I forgot to take photos, but the cold noodles were still delicious as always!

Visited with a friend. The quality of the meat here is excellent, everything we tried was delicious! The Masuichi Yukke and Kokorozashi sashimi were of course delicious, but the Chorogi salad, Negi Shio Kalbi, Korean whole cucumber, and salted tail ramen were all well-seasoned and choosing dishes was enjoyable! The Masuichi bara and Negi shio roast were so tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The salted tail ramen we had as a finishing touch was amazing, I would come back just for that! The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, with a parking lot for 15 cars a short distance away, making it convenient. I definitely want to visit again!

It is a place a little below Toji Temple. I visited early because I was craving for yakiniku. It was my first time at this branch, although I had been to the main store before. Orders are taken through a tablet and the service is quick. Be careful not to order too much meat at once. The seared yukhoe was light in flavor. The salt options included tongue salt, dragon loin, and negi (green onion) salt kalbi. The dragon loin was thick and satisfying, while the negi salt kalbi was wrapped in green onions after being cooked on one side. The quality of the meat is what makes the salt options delicious. The marinated kalbi was grilled in a large piece and then cut, providing a classic yakiniku experience. The quality of the meat is high, the staff is young and efficient, and the cost performance is good. I would like to revisit Masuichi again.

I used it for Christmas. It said it would take time because it would be handled by a small number of staff, but all the staff members were very efficient and came as soon as I pressed the button. They seemed very busy, but they always had a bright and cheerful attitude, which made me feel good. Each store of Masuichi has a slightly different atmosphere and menu, but I like the Higashi store the best.

The parking lot was well-equipped, and the restaurant was bustling, which was nice. I felt like the tablets were a bit unnecessary, but overall, the thinly sliced tongue, tender and light lamb steak, delicious kalbi, beef tartare with cucumber, cholegi, lemon squash, and lychee sour were all satisfying. We were full and had a great meal! (Around 10,000 yen for 3 people, maybe?)

Masuichi Higashi store was offering a special lunch service during the corona period! I heard it would get crowded every day, so I made a reservation and visited! As soon as they opened, it was very popular with families and others! The lunch menu includes a variety of cuts, such as the exclusive Masuichi set and sukiyaki shabu set! The amount you get for 1500 yen is great value! The staff are all energetic and attentive, which is wonderful. I hope they continue to offer lunch service in the future!

Today's lunch was at Yakiniku-ya Masuichi Higashiten. It's a popular yakiniku restaurant located north of Omiya-dori Sannojitsu. Despite being a popular spot, they are currently offering lunch service during the pandemic. There is a contracted parking lot to the south of the restaurant with the restaurant's sign hanging. The interior is spacious with a high-end atmosphere, featuring sunken kotatsu-style seating and counter seats separated by sudare screens. Orders are placed using a tablet. They offer lunch sets like grilled shabu-shabu and samgyeopsal, but I opted for the special "Masuichi Lunch Set" priced at 1500 yen as I wanted to enjoy yakiniku. They also have options like yukhoe. Condiments like sauce and fat are provided in front of you. Although it's not a wagon service, they recommend a Korean-style marinated egg that is not on the menu. I tried one for 150 yen, and it was delicious. The meal arrived promptly and was luxurious. The rice was shiny, the salad was meticulously prepared with peeled cucumber, and the Korean seaweed with sesame oil was tasty. The wakame-rich soup had a deeper flavor than what you typically get at other yakiniku restaurants. The main meat dishes included six different cuts, clearly labeled with the names of the cuts like in a high-end restaurant. I enjoyed Masuichi kalbi and negi shio, Tan shio, and ichibo. Each cut had its unique texture and flavor. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who promptly cleared empty dishes. However, the embarrassing farewell chorus when leaving was a bit much.

It was so delicious. I visited without much thought because of the high ratings on Tabelog, the availability of parking, and the ability to make a same-day reservation. However, I was pleasantly surprised! First of all, the staff were all very kind and attentive. I ordered the lunch set for 1,500 yen (great value) and the Negi Shio Kalbi. The meat, rice, salad, and soup were all so delicious that I finished them in no time. It was a moment of happiness. It was relatively quiet as it was during the state of emergency. The seating was spacious and thorough infection control measures were in place, so I had no worries at all. (I'm sorry for visiting in this situation.) This is definitely a restaurant I want to visit again.

If you want to eat yakiniku in Gion, this is the place to go! I used it for entertaining guests, and every dish was incredibly delicious! The staff's hospitality is top-notch, making you feel like you're truly in Gion. The prices are not cheap, but it's a great place to use for special occasions or important business meetings.

Masuichi's group strategically changes its form based on price range and location, which is clever. The level of customer service is not bad, with a service that matches the style of the restaurant. In particular, the woman who saw us off at the end was very polite and pleasant. This branch uses gas stoves. I noticed that the teppanyaki grill was a bit dirty. The touch panel system was not bothersome, but the touch panel itself had poor usability and the images were hard to see, which was a drawback. The taste is decent compared to other restaurants. The absence of harami and thick-cut tongue is probably due to differentiation. I was very happy with the variety of raw items, and the senmai and Masuichi yukke were delicious. However, I think sea urchin is absolutely unnecessary for meat sushi. (laughs) I plan to try their lunch menu next time.

Cost performance and customer service are great! However, I wish there was a place to change diapers for children... Also, it would be nice to have menu options that even 1-year-olds can eat. I understand that the restaurant mainly serves meat dishes, which are delicious! I always use it as a treat! If you could focus on creating a child-friendly environment, other parents would also be happy. For example, having options like french fries or udon would be great!

I have visited this restaurant twice, once for a party and once for personal use. The atmosphere is nice, but the quality of the meat was not as good as expected. It's not simply about cutting it thicker or making it greasier. It's not bad, but... However, since it is located in the center of Kyoto, the cost performance seems reasonable considering the location. In that sense, it is not bad for hosting a party. The satisfaction of the party participants also seemed to be relatively high.
