This day was the Friday before a three-day weekend. I took the day off and came to the lively Kyoto for the Yoiyoiyama of the Gion Festival! For lunch, I had the amazing Omi beef fillet steak and hamburger, and at night, I went to Momotarokyo, a Western restaurant that I hadn't visited since last September. This time, I left the reservation to the tour organizer, and it seems that making reservations two months in advance is the best way to secure a spot for dinner. This year, it was so difficult to get a reservation, so it had been a long time since I last visited. This time, foodies from Hokkaido, Sendai, and Nagoya gathered, totaling six people. This means we can try a variety of dishes... The highlight of today's a la carte menu included the following dishes that we ordered: Drinks: Draft beer, Suntory Master's Dream White wine bottle: Pieropan La Rocca Soave Classico 2022, Italy, Soave Classico region, Garganega, Trebbiano Red wine bottle: Villa Maria EarthGarden Pinot Noir 2020, New Zealand, Marlborough region, Pinot Noir Red wine bottle: Ca' Momi Chardonnay 2020, USA, Napa Valley region, Merlot 1. Coleslaw Salad - always the best! 2. Potato salad and macaroni salad combo - the creaminess of the mayonnaise always captivates everyone. 3. Peach with white sesame dressing, walnut and mint flavor - juicy peach with a refreshing walnut and mint flavor. 4. The sweet Kyushu soy sauce-based sauce was excellent. It was incredibly delicious! 7. Live beltfish fritters with grated radish and wood sorrel powder - fritters made from live beltfish prepared by Maeda-san. It melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite. The flavors of wood sorrel and sansho pepper are refreshing. It's just too amazing! 8. The flavor of the fish melts in your mouth. The refreshing aroma of wood buds and sansho pepper is delightful. It's just too amazing! 9. It was incredibly delicious, and even adding demi-glace sauce made it even better... It was breathtaking! 11. Ribeye steak from Kagoshima's Sekisan Wagyu - a ribeye steak made by Sakae-ya Shinbo. The aged nutty aroma was incredibly delicious! The grilling was perfect. 12. Hamburger made from Hokkaido G beef and Kikuchi City, Kumamoto running pig - a hamburger made from Hokkaido G beef and Kikuchi City, Kumamoto running pig. The hamburger seems to be getting more delicious each time I come. It's rare to bring out the flavor of the meat like this in a hamburger. Today, I was able to try two different types of amazing hamburgers! 13. Finale_1: Demiglace sauce Napoli - Napoli pasta with demiglace sauce that keeps it moist.
