Today, as rain was forecasted, I decided to go to Rajasan, which I was curious about, because it's close to the station. Currently, it seems they are open on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but it's irregular so checking on SNS is essential. It's right in front of Sangūbashi Station, with excellent access, but be careful as you may get wet when lining up before opening, haha. If you arrive 15 minutes before opening on Tuesdays, there's no wait. They opened at 11:55. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of room. An elderly couple, perhaps the owners, were running the place together. The tables are for four people, and there's no sharing, so it fills up quickly. Even on this day, by 12:10, several groups had been turned away. It might be reassuring to arrive a little before opening. The turnover is slow as it's run by the couple. The menu is choosing a main dish and curry. A Rice 220g, B Rice 150g + 1 Paratha, C 2 Parathas. Today's curries were Murgh Kali, Delhi Pork Keema, Sambar, Butter Chicken. I chose A. The curries arrived in about 10 minutes. The portion of curry was generous, which made me happy! I love Butter Chicken, haha. It has a creamy dairy richness and strong flavor, but not too sweet, making it a perfect match with rice. The acidity is just right, not too strong or weak, creating a perfect balance. The chili and pepper give it a kick, making it rich but not too heavy. It was a delicious taste I had never experienced before and I got hooked, haha. The chicken pieces were large and moist. They were all delicious. The Pork Keema was also incredibly tasty - the meat was flavorful and spicy, making it hard to stop eating. The rice is a blend of Japanese rice and Basmati, with a great texture and flavor that pairs well with the curries. The curries were so tasty that I ran out of rice with two types. As mentioned on the menu, if you order three or more, the large portion of rice is recommended. The Paratha was also delicious! Sometimes they can be soft or bland, but these were always crispy with just the right amount of salt, pairing well with the rice. A place with delicious Paratha is always a winner, haha. I was extremely satisfied with the taste, portion size, and quality, which I think is reasonably priced. The curries alone were outstanding, but their performance when combined was excellent. The couple seemed to be very particular about their curries, and their passion for cooking was evident. Without a doubt, this is a top-notch restaurant! Thank you for the meal!
