Surprisingly, once again, my child Summer's request was sushi. Despite being a picky eater who only eats tamago or maguro, this was the second time in 3 days that she asked for sushi. Fortunately, there was a revolving sushi restaurant called "Kaitenzushi Nemuro Hanamaru" near the hotel we were staying at, so I decided to accompany her. We arrived 15 minutes before opening and made a reservation using the terminal at the storefront. We were the 14th group in line. Depending on the number of people at that time, I think if you make a reservation at the storefront about 20 minutes before opening, you can get in on the first round.
Now, onto the sushi. We started with the Seared Mackerel with Hebesshu Citrus (260 yen). It was mackerel marinated in a citrus juice called Hebesshu. The mild acidity and the mackerel's fat matched perfectly and it was incredibly delicious. The texture of the fish was just right, and I even ordered another plate. Next, we tried the Live-Boiled Mackerel (340 yen). It had a firm texture and a good amount of fat, making it a tasty piece of sushi. However, it might have been better to eat this before the mackerel with citrus.
Following that, we had the special selection of the day, Aged Flounder with Kombu (580 yen). It was a piece of sushi packed with a subtle kombu flavor and umami. Although it was the most expensive item that day, in terms of emotional impact, the mackerel was more impressive, perhaps because I love mackerel. Lastly, we tried the Scallop Milt Nigiri (260 yen). I was surprised by this unique item, but it turned out to be like this.

I wanted to eat delicious sushi, so I finally visited this restaurant that I had been curious about. Since it was Sunday night, I had to wait for about 100 minutes after getting a waiting ticket around 6 pm. It's a popular place indeed! The delicious dishes were the shellfish, shrimp miso soup, two-generation scallop, small fish with egg, crab gratin, zangi (fried chicken), squid and leek salad. I thought it was good value for money. Thank you for the meal! It was delicious. I will wait again!

At Korakuen, I saw people with transfer umbrellas and wet ones... Even though the rain radar forecasted heavy rain, I decided not to leave the station and instead have a meal at the station building MetroⓂ️ on the 5th floor. There are some really nice dining options there. I tried the popular Nemuro Hanamaru Sushi where there was a 20-minute wait. I was able to wait while working as there were empty seats. I enjoyed delicious dishes such as Nishin (herring) sushi, Iwashi (sardine) sushi, and Abura curry. The sushi pieces were large and tasty. Thank you for the meal.

On a holiday evening visit, I came here right after watching baseball at the dome. I got a ticket and entered the restaurant an hour later. Last time, I didn't have much time before the baseball game, so I wanted to enjoy this place leisurely soon. I started with a draft beer, specifically a Premium Malt. I ordered everything on paper this time since last time the sushi was freshly made and rotating on a conveyor belt. I mainly had shiny items like scallops and yellowtail. My companion stuck to the classics - sea urchin, salmon roe, and fatty tuna. We also ordered miso soup. Everything was delicious, especially the sushi. We had a few more beers and the total bill was just under 9000 yen. Thank you for the meal. All the sushi was delicious and satisfying. We'll definitely come back next time we watch baseball.

Before entering Spa LaQua, I was looking for a place to have dinner nearby and I found Hanamaru in Metro City, so I decided to go there. It was a little after 6 pm on Friday. I was 17th in line at the reception, but I was seated in about 10 minutes. The must-try dish is the tsubugai. I also tried the Hanasakigani that was previously featured on TV, but I personally think the Zuwai-gani sushi I had in Toyama was much more delicious. A unique dish they had was corn, not from a can but it seemed like it was cut fresh from the cob, and you could really taste the authenticity. It was overflowing with corn, so I was very satisfied. In addition, I had chutoro, tekka maki, hamachi, and two glasses of draft beer. The total bill came to around 4,000 yen. I splurged a little, but I want to go back on a weekday as it seems crowded on weekends. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Around 3 PM on a Sunday, we stopped by for a meal before heading to Tokyo Dome for a game. We were seated within about 15 minutes, which was much quicker compared to the long wait times at the Sapporo and Ginza locations (1-2 hours). The menu remained the same and we were able to enjoy our meal promptly. When we visited at the end of August, they had a seasonal menu item called "Toronishin" which was surprisingly refreshing despite being fatty and delicious. We ordered 23 dishes for 2 people and the total came to around 8000 yen, leaving us feeling satisfied and full at a reasonable price.

This restaurant offers sushi and dishes using plenty of specialty products from Hokkaido, especially in the eastern part of the island. Everything is fresh and delicious. You must try the bluefin tuna, it's a must-eat. Personally, I really enjoy the miso soup with Hanasaki crab. The broth is so flavorful, it's almost unbelievable. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

We stopped by Nemuro Hanamaru on our way back from playing at Tokyo Dome with the kids. It always seems crowded everywhere. We got a numbered ticket and went shopping while waiting. There's a Daiso and a bookstore in the same building, so it's great to make use of the waiting time. We waited for about an hour and then entered. We ate plenty of fresh sushi and left feeling very satisfied.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and the staff were smiling and providing great customer service, making it a very comfortable place to be. They offer freshly made thick grilled eggs, and the staff go around showing the plates of eggs as a little performance. The restaurant opens at 11:00 AM and there was a line of 17 groups waiting when we arrived at 10:45 AM. The portions are big and satisfying, and the soup dishes are especially delicious. Both the volume and flavor are to my liking. I can see why this place is so popular.

Sushiro Nemuro Hanamaru at Korakuen: During Sunday lunchtime, if you arrive 10 minutes before the rotation, there will be a huge line! I was the 22nd in line, but managed to get in after one rotation. I love the variety of unique sushi toppings they offer! Wind Lake Pacific Saury Roll: A large sheet of seaweed topped with pickled Pacific saury. It goes well with sake. Handmade Crab Gratin: They take their time making this dish. It's packed with crab and the cheese is crispy. Hand-Rolled Salmon Roe: Generously topped with salmon roe, a delight! Fresh Bonito: Topped with 8 types of condiments, it's refreshing. Two-Generational Scallop: A large portion of scallop and scallop roe. I've never had anything like this before! Komai Soy Sauce Marinated Sushi: Tamago of a fish from the cod family. Goes well with sake too. Grilled Squid: Topped with ginger, easy to eat! King Crab Loin: Luxurious thick crab meat! Boz Silver Treasure: The melt-in-your-mouth texture is exceptional! Sweet Potato: Unfortunately cold. Wakame Tempura: Crispy and delicious, fried snacks are also good! Natto Roll: Egg Sandwich: Wan Kudon: Chawanmushi: The kids also seemed to enjoy it, which was nice to see.

Located on the 5th floor of the station building directly connected to Korakuen Station. This chain store always gives the impression of being crowded, so I arrived just before 3 pm to avoid the afternoon rush, but there were still about 9 groups waiting. However, there are ticket machines available and you can kill time in the station building, so my turn came quickly. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of a counter, so the turnover of customers seems relatively fast. When seated, the board with recommended menu items catches your eye, such as pickled herring and fatty flounder. The quality of the sushi is incomparable to 100 yen sushi, with fresh and thick slices of fish. With miso soup and about 4 plates of sushi, the total cost is around 1700 yen. It may not be the most cost-effective option, but being able to customize your favorite toppings and try unique ingredients makes it satisfying.

We arrived 5 minutes before the opening on a holiday, and there were already about 40 customers waiting. We got a numbered ticket and joined the line. We were number 23, and after the first round, we were able to enter the store around 11:20. We ordered by filling out a special form, but we only had a short time before the dome opened, so we only ordered beer and grabbed some sushi that was passing by. First, we had a draft beer, which was Asahi Super Dry. All the sushi plates that were rotating looked fresh and delicious. We had dishes like sardines, tuna salad, red tuna, sea urchin, scallops, oily flounder, crab, salmon roe, and more. We finished eating everything in about 20 minutes and it was all very delicious and satisfying. While the rotating sushi may seem a bit expensive, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I would like to take my time and enjoy it when I have more time.

★ "Large Ebi Tempura Roll" If you love shrimp tempura, you must try this! It has sauce inside, with a hint of mayo flavor, and it's so delicious to eat with your hands! The part near the tail, about 5 centimeters in, is especially tasty! My mouth was so happy. "Dashimaki Tamago" A subtly sweet rolled omelette. Next, I want to try the egg in an egg sandwich! ★ "Uni" Such a sweet uni! Not fishy at all! I highly recommend this! -------------------------------- The friendly staff, atmosphere, and the fact that it's so delicious yet affordable at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant make it enjoyable. I definitely want to come back!

Visited on July 21, 2023 (Friday). After leaving "Rakua," I noticed a sign at the station for this restaurant and remembered enjoying the standing sushi at the same brand's location in the basement of Ginza Tokyu Plaza about 4-5 years ago, so I decided to give it a try. There were a few groups of waiting customers, but we were seated promptly. The seating included box seats with a diverse mix of customers such as inbound tourists, office workers, and families. There were also about 15 counter seats in the back, making it convenient. We sat down, looked at the recommended menu items, and filled out the paper on the table. It seemed that the available items varied depending on the day's delivery, so it was understandable, but it was a bit of a hassle to write the menu names each time we ordered. The fact that they managed the orders on paper without making mistakes was impressive. We started with "fresh sardine," "fatty mackerel," and "grilled squid." For a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the sushi was delicious. Next, we had "baby kohada soy sauce marinated gunkan" and "tuna roll with mountain wasabi." It was my first time trying baby kohada, and its chewy texture was interesting. The mountain wasabi, however, lacked any wasabi flavor and was disappointing. We decided to stop there, and as we left, we saw many customers waiting outside. Despite not being in a bustling area, the restaurant's ability to attract customers was impressive. Thank you for the meal!

Visited the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant "Kaiten Sushi Nemuro Hanamaru Metro-Em Korakuen Branch" in Korakuen. It was crowded, with a wait of 33 groups, but we got a ticket and waited nearby while checking the status on our smartphones. After about 50 minutes, our turn came. The restaurant was lively with energetic staff working in the background. We ordered the following items:
- Bluefin Tuna Toro (638 yen tax included): Delicious and fatty toro.
- Pacific Saury (374 yen tax included): Fatty saury with good flavor.
- Bonito (274 yen tax included): Bonito with condiments, a strong-flavored piece.
- Seared Engawa (340 yen tax included): Nicely seared engawa, well done by the restaurant.
- Live Amberjack (374 yen tax included): Fatty amberjack, quite tasty.
- Bluefin Tuna Toro Taku Maki (462 yen tax included): Toro taku with wasabi, satisfying but not outstanding.
- Live Abalone (462 yen tax included): Sweet abalone, delicious.
- Hanasaki Crab (638 yen tax included): Hand-peeled Hanasaki crab from Nemuro, decent but not exceptional.
- Monkfish Liver (462 yen tax included): Fatty white fish, a unique item.
- Asparagus Tempura (462 yen tax included): Sweet asparagus with salt, a hot and satisfying dish.
- Smoked Herring Surimi Soup (374 yen tax included): Surimi soup with plenty of ingredients, good size of daikon.
All dishes were delicious. The quality was very good for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but I felt that the ones in Hokkaido were tastier. The staff's hospitality was a hidden gem here, with lively atmosphere and polite service. Payment was made with a credit card, and although prices were slightly higher in Tokyo, we were satisfied. There was still a long line when we left, impressive. It was a tasty meal, we will come back. Thank you for the meal.

A conveyor belt sushi restaurant that uses fresh seafood directly from Nemuro. Located in a station building in Korakuen. It's always crowded, so it's recommended to go when you have plenty of time. While it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the prices are relatively high, so the value for money may vary depending on the person, but the quality is higher than other conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The scallop roe and salmon roe are delicious, so I recommend them.

I waited for an hour and a half after checking in. I passed the time by wandering around nearby shops. The spring menu that day featured recommended items like spear squid and sardines. The scallops and sardines were delicious, but there were occasional disappointments with the sushi. You have to write your order on a piece of paper and hand it to the staff, so if they don't notice you, you might be left sipping your tea in silence. The restaurant is family-friendly, but it's small and can get very noisy, so it's not the best place for a leisurely meal.

Today was a rare day when I finished work near this area. I was told I could go home straight away at 6 pm. It's a day when I don't have to cook. I rarely come to this area. Now, where should I go? But I don't feel like walking too much. I checked what was in the station building, and saw that there were long lines at Ginza and various department stores around here! Eating alone at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant and enjoying whatever I like to eat sounds like happiness! Without hesitation, I entered this restaurant. The restaurant was still quite empty at 6 pm. I was lucky to be seated right away without waiting! I ordered a draft beer for 660 yen. You write your order on a paper provided at the counter and hand it to the staff. I started with deep-fried seaweed for 209 yen. It was my first time trying deep-fried seaweed, and it was surprisingly good and affordable. The crispy texture with a salty flavor was excellent. The beer was going down smoothly! I want to tell my mother who runs an izakaya about this new way of enjoying seaweed. Grilled squid ears for 286 yen. Thick and tender grilled squid ears served with shichimi mayo. This dish also went well with the beer. I ordered another beer at this point. Crab gratin for 462 yen. I had tried this gratin at the Ginza branch and loved it. It was filled with crab meat and had a rich crab flavor in the bechamel sauce. Although it was a small portion, it was very luxurious. I then had a few pieces of sushi. Bousugintoro for 462 yen. A rare menu item from Hokkaido. The bousugintoro had a rich fatty texture, almost like the fat of a sunfish. It was a valuable sushi experience. Fresh ginger topped iwashi for 374 yen. I couldn't resist the large, fatty sardines. The generous amount of shredded fresh ginger added a refreshing touch. Live scallop for 462 yen. Another favorite of mine. A thick and flavorful scallop that was just shucked. It was delicious! Tuna torotaku roll for 462 yen. I was craving torotaku. It was so luxurious to have a torotaku roll made with fatty tuna. It was even better than I had imagined. The slices were longer than I expected (laughs). I leisurely enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the feast. By the time I left, there was a long line of people waiting outside. I would love to come back here if I have work in this area again.

A friend in Sapporo recommended a local conveyor belt sushi restaurant called "Triton" or "Nemuro Hanamaru", where you can enjoy high-quality sushi at an affordable price. I had heard rumors that Nemuro Hanamaru had expanded to Tokyo, so I decided to visit today for lunch after a hot stone bath. The sushi was fantastic, especially the asparagus sushi rolls and tempura. The cold sake was also excellent. I felt happy from lunchtime onwards.

Visited around 2:00 PM on Sunday. It was crowded and had to wait for about 30 minutes. Even the chairs outside were full, with some people standing and waiting. Once seated, the lively atmosphere made it easy to place an order. They were considerate, even accommodating requests like no wasabi, which was appreciated. The sushi was fresh and delicious, especially the squid. It felt a step above basic conveyor belt sushi and was very satisfying. Thank you for the meal.
