Visit date: August 22, 2020 (Saturday) I used it for Saturday lunch in Kichijoji. Before coming to the store, I was looking for a place where I could relax and have a conversation while eating lunch, and I found a comment saying that there are plenty of sofa seats, so I chose this store. I arrived around 12:10. The store is on the second floor, and when I went up the stairs, the door was closed. There was a notice on the door stating that the store opens at 12:00 due to shortened business hours due to the coronavirus. I waited in front of the door. A couple arrived behind me, talking about "their favorite restaurant in Kichijoji," which raised my expectations. When the store opened, I was able to sit at my favorite seat. At a glance, there were three 4-person sofa seats, one 2-person side-by-side seat, and four window counter seats. All the sofa seats, including those facing each other, were different and interesting! I sat at the 4-person sofa seat near the entrance. All seats were arranged against the wall, so there was enough distance from other customers, and I didn't mind the voices of other customers at all. Also, about 15 minutes after opening, the store was full. You can see how popular the store is. When I looked at the lunch menu, all items were 1100 yen. There were two daily specials (meat or pasta), one curry, one panini + today's soup, and one salad lunch. You could also add black sugar gateau chocolat or cheesecake for an additional 250-260 yen! My companion arrived late. We ordered the large portion of mentaiko pasta, French toast, and cheesecake from the lunch set. Since free drinks come with the lunch menu, I ordered a drink for one person. The appetizers for the lunch set were served. Wakame and egg Chinese soup, glass noodle salad, pumpkin salad. The glass noodle salad seemed to be dressed with green shiso dressing, and it had a refreshing taste. The pumpkin salad had a gentle sweetness like a vegetable dessert. I was already very satisfied with just the appetizers! Next came the pasta. A large portion of pasta was served in a wooden boat-shaped container. It was fresh pasta, but it gave the impression of thick noodles rather than chewy texture. The mentaiko sauce was spicy for me. (I had mentaiko pasta at a different restaurant last week, and I personally preferred thin noodles with mentaiko sauce.) The noodles were thick, so I thought I might not be able to eat the French toast and cake, but that was not the case at all! The French toast was made with sandwich bread and topped with fluffy cream and honey. A small frying pan served as a plate, and you could eat it hot! (When the cream touched the frying pan, it melted immediately!) When I took a bite, it was delicious!! It was soft like brulee, yet it didn't feel heavy. There was no flavor of butter or oil, and the softness and not-too-sweet sweetness spread in my mouth. I was surprised by the high quality of the French toast even though it wasn't being promoted. The cheesecake was also delicious! It was described as white chocolate, but I didn't feel the white chocolate, and it was a easy-to-eat souffle cheesecake! Oh, by the way, the free drinks were oolong tea, orange juice, iced tea, and iced coffee. It was a self-pour style. There were also two types of tea bags, so I think there was a machine to pour hot water. By the time we left, one group of customers was waiting outside. A place that can be used for both lunch and tea. Since the number of seats is not that large, I recommend visiting during lunchtime!
