I had heard about the seafood bowl at this place from the delicious review by Mairebi-sama, but after watching a YouTube video, I couldn't resist and decided to go there myself (≧∇≦). I quickly checked and found out that they open at 6:00 in the morning! So the next day at 4:00 in the morning, I woke up my family and hurriedly got ready to drive to the restaurant to have their morning seafood bowl (^ω^) Arrived 10 minutes early! Hurried to the shop! ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(; ̄◇ ̄)┘ At 5:50, we were about 30th in line? (゚o゚;; The line kept growing and there were about 60 people in a long queue! While waiting, I checked the menu again! I couldn't contain my excitement (≧∇≦) The waitress came to take our order first (^^) I ordered the overflowing tuna bowl (large with tuna belly) and my wife ordered the sea urchin seafood bowl, while the kids ordered the sea urchin seafood bowl too. The waitress mentioned that they could only do a partial upgrade to the tuna belly. I still requested it anyway. When I asked for a large serving, the waitress warned me that the large rice portion was quite substantial! But I insisted (^^;; After waiting for about 1 hour and 40 minutes, we finally entered the restaurant (-_-;) The bowl didn't seem too big? Would it be enough (^^;; However, all those doubts disappeared right away! When the food was served, there were two bowls of rice in front of me?? One was for the extra rice that wouldn't fit on the bowl (^^) The waitress then brought slices of tuna belly and red meat to put on the bowl. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of tuna belly! The red meat was about 5 slices ^o^ What a happy miscalculation )^o^( A mountain of tuna belly! (^ν^) This is irresistible (≧∇≦) I'll enjoy it♪ The tuna belly is so thick and melts in your mouth, the perfect match with the rice and tuna's fat! I could eat the tuna belly mountain all by myself ^o^ But I shared a bit of happiness with my wife and kids! (^ν^) My wife let me taste the sea urchin and salmon roe, and it was amazing (sweet sea urchin and small but delicious salmon roe (^^)) The red meat is not too fatty, allowing you to enjoy the taste of the tuna. It's also very delicious! (≧∇≦) I'm satisfied with the portion as well! (^^) It was a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth it. I enjoyed the delicious meal♪ Thank you for the amazing seafood! Additional note: Bought sea urchin at Kizu Market on the way back! ^o^

I went to Europe during summer vacation and was craving for sashimi, so I decided to visit Kizu Market's seafood bowl specialty store, Kizu Uoichi Shokudo. I arrived at 6:00 PM, but there were already four groups ahead of me, so I had to wait. The restaurant only has four seats for a total of 10 people, and it was packed with inbound tourists, so it took a while for a table to open up. I finally got in at 6:30 PM. I ordered the Uni, Ikura, and Chutoro bowl for 2800 yen. The rice was served separately and was free for a large portion. Each type of fish was quite generous in portion, making it a good deal. However, if you don't want to wait in line, make sure to arrive before 6:00 PM.

At Kizu Market, there is a popular shop where you can enjoy seafood bowls from 6 am. Located in an outside tenant of Kizu Market, it gets crowded during lunchtime. The most popular dish is the Uni Seafood Bowl for 2500 yen, and they also offer a Bluefin Tuna Medium Fatty Tuna Bowl for 2800 yen, with fresh and luxurious toppings for around 3000 yen. It comes with miso soup and pickles. It's a good idea to visit in the early morning when there are fewer people. You get one stamp for each meal, and when you collect three, you get a 500 yen discount ticket. It's recommended for when you want to eat seafood after drinking or when you just crave it.

I went on a regular Friday, but it was extremely crowded. I think everyone except me was probably from overseas. I believe the reason it was so crowded is because there are few seats. I started lining up around 8 o'clock and finally got seated around 11 o'clock. It was worth the long wait. It felt like heaven once I started eating. That day, I think by 8:30, it was no longer possible to line up at the end of the line. I was lucky to be able to line up just in time. I always think that Osaka is a hidden gem for seafood. The sushi restaurant next to this place is also incredibly delicious.

I went to this restaurant and waited for 2 hours and 20 minutes on a weekday morning at 7:30. There were many foreigners in line as well. The medium fatty tuna bowl was delicious with just the right amount of fat and rich flavor. The scallop was also large and reminded me of a popular band from the past that was popular among women. Gacha gacha, batan! Early in the morning, the room door was forcefully opened. "Let's go today!" my partner shouted angrily. "What's going on?" I asked, realizing it was 4 am. "Let's go eat seafood bowl!" my partner insisted, rushing me to get ready. Confused, I quickly changed and we arrived at the Kizu Market at 5:50 am, 10 minutes before opening. About 30 people were already in line, mostly foreign tourists. We placed our orders and waited in line, feeling a bit out of place. After a wait of almost 2 hours, we were finally seated. The seafood bowl looked luxurious and my partner's overflowing tuna bowl was quite a show. The food was delicious, especially the sea urchin and salmon roe. The rice was a bit firm but softened nicely with the seafood. Overall, the meal was satisfying and worth the wait. I would consider lining up again for the sea urchin and salmon roe bowl next time. Let's make sure to get enough sleep the night before next time.

I knew about this place for a while but finally got to go there! I arrived around 5:30 and was the first in line. After that, more and more people started lining up. Note: By around noon, it feels like they have sold out, so I recommend going early. Since I was there, I decided to go all out and got the overflowing bluefin tuna bowl (4000 yen) with lots of toppings! Total came to 5600 yen. The result? I didn't think it was delicious, haha. *This is just my personal opinion. Well then, that's all for now!

I arrived around 5:55 am!! I thought I was the first in line, but there were so many people waiting~ haha The shop opens at 6 am, but there were a lot of people who seemed to be Chinese tourists!! When I was waiting in line, the staff brought the menu and took our orders. When I asked how long the wait would be, they said about 1 hour?? Oh no~ I waited exactly 1 hour~ haha Luckily, it was the third round? I think?? It was delicious♪

Arrived at 6:30 in the morning. There was already a long line, and I was able to enter at 7:00. There are only 4 tables and 10 seats here, so there is always a long line no matter when you come. But it's so delicious that it's worth the wait (laughs). Today's special was seafood mixed rice bowl, limited to 1,200 yen. It came with miso soup and pickles. Personally, I find it satisfying to add toppings to this at a reasonable price. It was a very satisfying breakfast. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I went on a food tour in the Namba area. The first place I visited was a seafood bowl restaurant at the Osaka Kizu Wholesale Market. Even though I arrived after 9 am, there was already a long line! Many foreign tourists seemed to be there as well. After waiting for about an hour and a half, I finally got inside the restaurant. I ordered the Uni, Ikura, Toro bowl for 2800 yen (tax included), which came with miso soup and pickles. I also added a raw egg yolk for 50 yen (tax included). The Toro was fatty and sweet, with a great texture. The Ikura wasn't too salty, which I liked. The Uni was delicious when wrapped in seaweed. Adding the egg yolk was a good choice. Some people gave up and left while waiting in line, but I'm glad I stayed. It's recommended to go early, as they sold out after serving about 10 more people behind us. It was a great meal!

Arrived at 8:30 in the morning. Long line... Finally reached the food at 10:30. Quite a wait. But if people are willing to line up this long, it must be a popular and delicious place! So I endured the cold and finally entered the restaurant! Yes! It's so delicious!! Really delicious!! However, I ordered the free extra-large rice portion, but... Hmm. Feels like it's a bit small. Around 10:40, about 5-6 groups of customers were waiting (mostly foreigners). We waited for over 30 minutes to enter. Luckily, we made it in before they sold out. They took our order while we were waiting in line, so the service was quick once we got inside. I had the Uni Ikura Don for 2800 yen. The sea urchin was sweet and delicious! The portion of rice was a bit small for someone like me who eats a lot (haha). The price was a bit high, but I felt it was worth it. The restaurant had about 5-6 tables. It's understandable to have to wait. For those driving, there is a parking service available at the lottery ticket sales area. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Most of the menu items were already sold out, but that's because I overslept. The seafood is incredibly fresh since there's a market next door. The seafood dishes were delicious! It felt like being at a seaside seafood market on a trip. There were many foreign visitors, so it seems popular globally. After about 7 years, there were no other customers waiting before the 6 am opening of Kizu Market on a weekday. Right after opening, two pairs of customers arrived. About 12 minutes later, a middle-aged woman who didn't seem Japanese arrived alone, and she took a selfie video after getting her bowl. This time, the goal was tuna, but sea urchin was still scarce, so toppings were suspended. Plenty of wasabi, delicious smile~! Overflowing tuna bowl.

One morning, I woke up quite early and immediately thought, "I want to eat seafood bowl." I got ready quickly and headed to the nearest station. I visited the restaurant called "Uoichi Shokudo." This place is a well-known seafood bowl restaurant in Osaka. I arrived at the restaurant around 6:10 am and it was already full. There was no line, so I waited outside. A cool female staff member came to take my order while I waited. Among the many seafood bowls priced over 2000 yen, I chose the cheapest option, the seafood off-cut bowl. I also asked for extra rice and a topping of egg yolk. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I entered the restaurant. There were two tables for 4 people and two tables for 2 people. It's not a very spacious restaurant, so I wouldn't recommend going with a large group. I sat down and after about 2 minutes... it arrived! Limited quantity seafood off-cut bowl, extra rice, topped with egg yolk! Wow, it looks great! A generous amount of marinated off-cut fish such as tuna, salmon, squid, sea bream, yellowtail, crab, salmon roe, and whitebait. I gently placed the egg yolk on top and enjoyed the creamy texture. Let's dig in! The large pieces of off-cut fish have a satisfying texture and the marinated flavor goes perfectly with the rice. The egg yolk adds a creamy richness, enhancing the overall experience. The miso soup with yellowtail scraps was a nice touch. I ate to my heart's content and finished the meal. Although the high-end seafood bowls at this restaurant are great, I think this off-cut bowl priced at 1200 yen is a really good deal. Thank you for the meal!

From Daikokucho Station, it's a 3-minute walk east to Kizu Market "Uoichi Shokudo." I woke up early to go there before work in Tennoji because I wanted to eat their tuna. It's located on the left side of the outer entrance to the market and was easy to find. I arrived at 8 a.m., even though it was raining, the place was already packed with a wait of 3 groups. While waiting in line, they brought the menu right away so I placed my order immediately. I had the Medium Fatty Tuna Tekkadon (+egg yolk) for 3000 yen plus an additional 50 yen. I had studied beforehand and was also tempted by the colorful seafood bowl, but I wanted the medium fatty tuna, so I chose this one. I was seated after about 20 minutes. There are only two 4-person tables and two 2-person tables. I sat down, was served hot tea, and my dish arrived in about a minute. Wow, this is quite a generous portion! It had a lot of toppings as listed on the menu, which got me excited. I took a photo and then moved some of the medium fatty tuna to add the egg yolk on top! I drizzled some soy sauce and first tried the medium fatty tuna. It melted in my mouth and was delicious! It's a thick cut, so the flavor of the medium fatty tuna spreads throughout the mouth. I also tried the lean tuna, which was also good. There's more medium fatty tuna underneath, so you can enjoy it to your heart's content. It's not as heavy as the fatty tuna, so you can eat plenty without getting tired of it. The miso soup was also tasty. I wanted to drink more of it. Even though I finished eating in about 15 minutes, I was full. They serve quickly to accommodate the waiting customers. They accept PayPay. Despite the rain, there were about 15 people waiting outside. Please save this restaurant based on my review.
