I visited before 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and was able to enter smoothly. The area on the 6th and 7th floors was very crowded, so it was nice to have a calm atmosphere on the upper floors! The assorted sashimi had a slight fishy smell, but the sea bream and scallops were especially delicious! The eel hand rolls were flavorful and tasty! The sushi rice was delicious. The nigiri sushi was a bit on the sweet side and tended to fall apart. The squid, conger eel, and salmon were all delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The sushi restaurant on the 30th floor of Skytree Soramachi. It's quite difficult to get a reservation for dinner, so we went for lunch instead. The view is really amazing! I think it would be even better at night. The sushi selection is not the best, but the taste of the creative dishes is not bad. However, dining while enjoying this view is fantastic!

I visited for dinner on a regular day. Since the casual yakitori restaurant I planned to visit with a friend was unexpectedly closed, we decided to visit here on the 30th floor of Tokyo Solamachi. We entered at 6:15 pm and there were 3 groups of customers, all of whom were foreigners. We were seated at the counter where we could interact with the chef while enjoying sushi. We ordered Bakudan, Taiira shellfish, and Miru shellfish as appetizers with our beer and sake. Bakudan was served in a stylish cocktail glass and we were instructed to wrap it in seaweed before eating. It had a perfect balance of multiple types of fish, fish roe, natto, and pickled radish, all seasoned just right, creating a wonderful harmony of flavors. The Taiira shellfish had a great texture and the seared Miru shellfish was sweet and delicious with a good texture. The chawanmushi had a strong dashi flavor and was very aromatic. As a palate cleanser, we were served pickled vegetables and fried backbones. Finally, we were served medium fatty tuna and botan shrimp sushi. The nigiri sushi had excellent rice and toppings. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located on the 30th floor of the building in Soramachi at Skytree. I had never been there before, but I remembered that there was a tofu-based restaurant on a high floor, so I decided to visit this place. It was not crowded on weekdays, and I was able to get in without a reservation. It seems to be a fish-focused restaurant from that fish store. The view is excellent, with table and counter seats available. The counter seats have a unique staircase to climb a few steps. The sushi was delicious, but nothing extraordinary. It gives off an impression of being reasonably priced for this kind of atmosphere. The rice was slightly red. I think it would be better if there were more distinctive flavors. The sea urchin wasn't that great. The rest of the dishes were decent, but it would be appreciated if there were more exciting menu options.

Soramachi Dining Skytree View is where you can find Uoriki Sushi. It seems like there have been some changes in the upper floors of Soramachi due to the pandemic. It opened about two years ago. The restaurant is designed so that you can enjoy the night view from each table (though it might be difficult at the counter). We ordered the chef's choice sushi, which surprisingly had a small portion, so we also ordered extra Shimaji and salmon sushi. They have a variety of drinks, including a good selection of wines, including natural wines. I decided to try two types of white wine on this day. The servings were larger than at a wine bar, so I ended up getting a little tipsy (^^;)

Today's lunch was a splurge at Skytree's Solamachi. I recently discovered Uoriki Sushi and the view before the meal was amazing. I ordered the recommended seafood bowl course. The dishes included uni tempura, snow crab spring rolls, and a bunch of tiny crabs. Overall, the non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants usually have good food, and after observing the prices, today's meal was a great deal. It was the third day of the new year, so they only had dinner menus, but starting from the 4th, they will have lunch menus as well. If the prices remain the same for lunch, it would be perfect.

I went to Solamachi with a friend. First, we enjoyed hot wine and craft beer at the Christmas market. My friend suddenly said, "I heard the view from Seryna on the 30th floor is amazing, so I want to go there." We didn't have a reservation, and it was a Sunday. Seryna was really crowded. We gave up and tried to find a restaurant on the 30th or 31st floor. Every restaurant was fully booked. Just as we were thinking of going back down, we found a place with an available table here. A full bottle of sparkling wine for 3000 yen - what a great deal. I suddenly felt relieved. We ordered "Red King Crab Spring Rolls" and "Blowfish Karaage" as appetizers. The spring rolls were packed with filling and crispy on the outside. They went really well with wasabi cream and balsamic vinegar. They were delicious and made me want more. The blowfish karaage was a bit tough. For the main dish, we had the "Chef's Choice Sushi". It included Oma tuna and was a steal at 3850 yen. It also had my favorite pickled mackerel. The best dish was the smoked sawara. It was absolutely delicious. Although you can't see the Skytree, the view, atmosphere, prices, and food quality at this restaurant were all satisfying. It was a great find. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Celebrating my second son's birthday & having the last dinner of summer vacation at Fish Power Sushi on the 30th floor of Tokyo Skytree Solamachi. It is a sushi restaurant run by a fish store in Tachikawa city with a 90-year history. They also have a fish market where you can buy fresh fish at a good price. It's a great sushi restaurant with fresh fish and a fantastic view. Of course, we got seats at the counter! I don't eat carbs at night, so I just had alcohol and snacks. My second son doesn't like sea urchin, so we got sea urchin sushi. We also had tempura with summer vegetables and chose a sake from Hokuriku. The sons had the chef's choice sushi, while my wife had a tuna assortment. When we mentioned my son's birthday, the staff kindly prepared a birthday plate for him. It was a heartwarming and wonderful experience enjoying the view, sake, and sushi at this lovely restaurant.

[Ordered Items (excluding 10% tax)] - Fish Power Sushi Lunch: 3500 yen - Sumida River Brewing (Pale Ale): 800 yen [Impressions] - Visited on a Sunday afternoon (regarding the sushi) - All the sushi toppings were delicious, but the squid was particularly soft, sweet, and delicious. - The conger eel was tender and delicious. - The seaweed had a nice aroma and melted in the mouth. - The green onions (surprisingly delicious) paired perfectly with the vinegar rice (red vinegar?) acidity and the aroma of the onions. - Didn't feel much acidity from the vinegar rice with the other toppings. - The pickled ginger was not too spicy, not too sweet, and juicy, and delicious. - The red miso soup had a rich flavor, slightly thick, but delicious. [Other dishes and drinks] - The beer glass was sparkling clean and pleasant. The foam was fine and the aroma was good, very delicious. - The steamed egg custard had a strong bonito broth flavor and was delicious. Especially, the scallop in it was soft, well-seasoned, and incredibly delicious. - The appetizer of the day was simmered yellowtail child, which had a rich flavor and was delicious. [Other] - The menu photos may not be exactly the same as the toppings, so if you have allergies, it is recommended to confirm when ordering. - From the entrance, the interior doesn't seem very spacious, but once inside, it was wide horizontally, with private rooms at the back, making the interior spacious. - There were also families with small children (even strollers seemed possible to the table). - The weather was nice that day, and the view was great. - Paid at the table. - I would like to visit again. I went to Solamachi for dinner on Christmas Eve without a reservation, based on my budget and availability of seats. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even if it wasn't Christmas, I think it offers great value for money. I chose the "Chef's choice sushi (¥5,500 excluding tax)" and enjoyed delicious tuna akami, chutoro, and otoro. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

For lunch, I went to "Gyoriki Sushi" on the 30th floor of East Yard. It used to be a different Japanese restaurant before, but it had changed to Gyoriki at some point. It was just before 12 o'clock, and there were no customers yet, so it felt like a private reservation. I could see the eastern area of Tokyo from the window. It would have been even more beautiful if the weather was nice. I ordered the limited-time menu that came with a bowl and salad. I chose the "Special Selection Nigiri" with 10 pieces. I wanted to try tuna, sea urchin, and salmon roe. I got a complimentary drink for showing my annual pass to Sumida Aquarium, so I chose grape juice since I had work later. The grape juice was made with Pione grapes, and it had a distinct Pione flavor. It was delicious. The salad had dried yuba on top, which was colorful and cute. I'll try to buy some if I find it somewhere. After a while, the sushi arrived. It had tuna, medium fatty tuna with sea urchin, salmon roe, red shrimp, scallop, and more, totaling 10 pieces. The plump salmon roe was delicious. But the most delicious was the conger eel. It had a melt-in-your-mouth texture and the sweet simmered flavor was great. The red miso soup had yuba in it, so it was like a yuba feast (laughs). The sea urchin had no fishy taste, and the tuna was thickly sliced, making the tuna flavor stand out. I was satisfied.

I couldn't get into the popular sushi restaurant Triton because there was a 90-minute wait, so I went to another place and had 10 pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, miso soup, salad, and a small dish of okara salad. Everything was delicious except for the sea urchin and Isaji. The rice was not too sticky and had a nice freshness and red vinegar flavor.

I had a 3850 yen lunch. The taste was good, especially the sea urchin and shrimp were delicious. It's a bit pricey, but considering the location, it's understandable. I was surprised when they made a mistake with the final payment amount, so I hope they improve on that.
