Before heading to Haneda Airport from the hotel, I decided to have lunch near Tokyo Station, so I went to Shin Marunouchi Building. There were many sophisticated restaurants in the area, but I chose this one because it seemed like I could get a lot of vegetables here. I arrived a little after 11 am, and there were only about 3-4 groups of customers. I thought it was normal for a weekday, but by just before 12 pm, it was completely full! The space had a lot of natural light coming in through the large windows, creating an open and airy atmosphere. The tables had a nice touch of luxury, and I imagine it would have a moody feel with lighting at night. We ordered the weekday lunch pasta set for 1,990 yen each. You can choose one pasta dish from five options, so we went with: - "Renkon" and anchovy peperoncino with karasumi - Burdock and chicken bolognese There was a buffet of seasonal vegetables from contracted farmers, which was a nice touch. In addition to salad, there were also pizza, gratin, omelette, soup, and more. We didn't want to fill up on the buffet before the main pasta dishes arrived, so we kept it light (laughs). The large cut vegetables had a satisfying crunch and plenty of umami, making us feel good about eating healthy. And then the pasta arrived! It was beautifully presented in a large white bowl in the center. The peperoncino had two types of renkon for different textures (crunchy and crispy), and the anchovy and karasumi added great flavor. The bolognese had the burdock dancing on top, stealing the show (laughs). The chewy pasta and flavorful minced meat paired perfectly. The price was not cheap, but it was worth it for the performance and quality.

Eating out every day to conquer 100 famous restaurants. Today, I visited AWKitchen, an Italian restaurant in the new Marunouchi Building at Tokyo Station. I tried to make a lunch buffet reservation before, but it was fully booked, so I made a reservation for dinner at 5:30 pm today. When I arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't too crowded yet. The spacious interior with large glass windows overlooking the outside creates an open and airy atmosphere. As for the meaning of "AW," I found out that it refers to Mr. Akira Watanabe. Although I don't watch TV, it seems he is quite famous, having worked as the head chef of global dining after training in Italy. I was handed a large, stiff paper menu when I sat down. The recommended dishes were the Bagna Cauda from the AW Farm for 2,200 yen, the Trofie Arrabbiata for 1,890 yen, and the Roasted Black Wagyu "Ichibo" for 4,990 yen. I ordered the recommended two dishes along with the main meat dish. The Bagna Cauda looked beautiful, and the fresh vegetables inside were delicious. There were even some vegetables that I didn't recognize. The sauce of the Bagna Cauda was particularly delicious. The Trofie Arrabbiata was a unique combination with short pasta. It was easy to eat and tasty. The Arrabbiata sauce had an elegant flavor, and the pasta was enjoyable to eat with a spoon. The Ichibo meat was tender, and the combination with vegetables was excellent. Overall, the vegetables stood out, being both delicious and unique. The restaurant offers a good view, delicious food, and good value for money. It's a place where you can enjoy not only the food but also have important discussions for work or spend quality time with friends in an elegant setting. I found a great restaurant.

I visited for lunch. We started with a sparkling toast, followed by a salad with various vegetables and a mushroom and cheese risotto. For dessert, we had chestnut pudding, Mont Blanc, red bean paste and pumpkin cake. The finale was a dessert platter with Kyoho grapes, Shine Muscat grapes, and autumn treats. Everything was delicious and I couldn't help but overeat.

I was told that I had to decide on all the dishes at the beginning because it's a 2-hour limit. I arrived at 7:30, so I had until 9:30, but the restaurant closes at 10, so there was no need to rush me every 2 minutes with the time reminder. There were other people who arrived around 8 o'clock, so I wish they didn't rush us that much.

To New Maru Building's "AWKitchen TOKYO". When you order a la carte from appetizers, pasta, main course, to dessert, they will bring it to you as a course. I ordered the restaurant's specialty "Farm Bagna Cauda" for the appetizer. This is a must-try when you come here. The presentation is beautiful. They also provide individual Bagna Cauda sauce, so you can enjoy dipping without worrying about others. The Bagna Cauda sauce is elegant and delicious! The "Fresh Fish Carpaccio" is made with amberjack, turnip, and edible chrysanthemum, beautifully presented as well. The amberjack is fresh and tasty. It has a very refined taste. For pasta, I ordered the "Trophie Arrabbiata". The pasta noodles are interesting. It's a short pasta that is tightly packed inside instead of having holes. It has a good chewy texture. It goes very well with the slightly spicy tomato sauce. For the main course, I asked for the fish "Pan-fried Fresh Fish" (Poêlé). The fish is "Sawara". It is a dish finished with a butter-like white sauce. Of course, the presentation is beautiful and the taste is good too. It goes well with white wine. I was full and satisfied with this refined Italian cuisine.

It was a lunch with a time limit of 1.5 hours. My companion was a little late, so I informed the staff that we would order the sparkling wine once everyone was there. However, the sparkling wine was brought to us immediately with a laugh. When we were all together and ready to order, the staff came back to ask about pasta. One person was still missing, and we had to remind the staff about it after about 10 minutes. Since it was a time-limited lunch, we wondered why the staff was in such a hurry. The salad buffet had a wide variety of options with delicious dressings and toppings. I tend to eat a lot of salad thinking it's zero calories. The pasta dishes arrived at different times for each person. Even while eating pasta, the staff suddenly brought a birthday plate with a birthday song, perhaps because one of us was a foreigner. The dessert buffet had many autumn flavors. When it was time to leave, we were reminded again. Despite the delicious food, the service was a bit disappointing.

Ms. Konishi, a female staff member, was very friendly. We visited with children and she helped us by taking the children to the buffet and preparing coloring sheets. We had a very enjoyable meal! Thank you very much.

✴️AW kitchen TOKYO Shin-Marunouchi Building store✴️An Italian restaurant located inside the Shin-Marunouchi Building in front of Tokyo Station!! I went there for lunch during a break from work, and the atmosphere was stylish and nice. The highlight was the wide variety of healthy options at the salad bar!! They had a lot of dressings and additional toppings available, which made it very satisfying. I also tried the pasta, and I enjoyed the different types available, all of which were delicious. Personally, I would recommend trying the risotto. (^o^)/

I ordered a set of salad bar and pasta. The variety of the salad bar was very rich, with not only salads but also tuna and other options, making it a fun selection. The only downside was the portion size of the main dish, the pasta. It would have been better if there was a bit more quantity, but the taste was delicious. Therefore, I evaluated taking into consideration the cost performance.

I wanted to eat a lot of vegetables for lunch! My friend who likes stylish places was interested in this place. We made a reservation online the day before even though it was a weekday lunch. The pasta was delicious, and the salad bar was too much fun. If I could have this every day, I could eat salad every day.

I happened to visit a restaurant that I was curious about for a girls' night out. The stylish and sophisticated interior was lovely, with a round table for us to gather around. My friends had made a reservation for a course meal, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes. The squid ink and walnut bread with smoked whipped butter that came out first were delicious. The bagna cauda sauce was also tasty and the presentation was impressive. We had turnip and fish carpaccio, pasta with bottarga, and some meat dishes which were all quite delicious. The dessert ice cream cake was also good. We each had a glass of champagne included with the course, and then ordered an additional drink each, totaling to around 7,500 yen per person. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great place for a sophisticated girls' night out or a date.

We always enjoy delicious Italian food with stable flavors and good service here. This time we had a course with a drink included. We were not offered any additional menu items with extra charges, but we still had a great time. The Bagna Cauda (warm sauce is delicious), pasta, main course, dessert, and coffee were all good. Like many other restaurants, it seems that the staff may be a bit short-handed, as it took a little while to get our drinks, but it's understandable given the current situation.

The salad bar had a variety of options like burdock root and quail eggs, and all the dressings were delicious. However, the main dish took a long time to be served, it came after I finished eating two rounds of salad, so I think I waited for over 30 minutes. The restaurant was crowded even on a weekday, so I guess it couldn't be helped. The taste was delicious.

Pasta or risotto and buffet lunch. The buffet mainly consisted of salads, with melon as one of the fruits. It was tasty, but I wish the price could be a bit lower considering the content. There were many families with children, creating a casual atmosphere.

I chose the pasta course. The drink for cheers was bubbly to lift the celebratory mood (laughs). It was a relaxing and luxurious restaurant where the staff's attentiveness was very comforting, quickly noticing without having to wait, enhancing the comfort. The dishes were stylish and sparkly ✨ and delicious. I would like to go back to try a different dessert.

The food was delicious, but when we ordered two drinks of the same kind, only one came at first. Another person brought the second one later. The timing of food and drink service was slow, and they charged for bread refills. Despite the good atmosphere and taste, it's a shame.

After moving our bodies with a friend, we tried Evolution Lucky No.9 (Oregon), which sounded like it brought good luck. It was a refreshing and easy-to-drink white wine with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. The food, especially the perfectly seasoned Arrabbiata pasta (not as spicy as expected), was delicious, and the pasta had a great chewy texture. The Rigatoni had thinly sliced zucchini and plenty of chunky zucchini, which paired well with the flavorful ground meat and fresh vegetables. The waitress serving us had a lovely smile! It's a wonderful place that makes you want to come back for a special night.

It was a very delicious vegetable restaurant. I think their specialty is bagna cauda. We didn't order it, but it looked interesting. The bagna cauda had unique and stylish vegetables, which was fun. We visited as a group of two, and the portion size was a bit too much. The other dishes were also served in portions for sharing, and they were quite generous. When we tried to order two appetizers, the staff advised us that three would be enough to fill us up. And they were right, we were full! Anyway, the presentation was very cute. The taste was okay for me.

The whipped butter on the bread was smoked and delicious. When the three of us visited, they kindly provided us with a portion size suitable for three people. We had a great time sitting by the window, which had a nice atmosphere. It seemed like our reservation paid off.
