Based on a friend's recommendation, I went to this restaurant. With such hot days, I felt like refreshing myself. I was lucky to make a reservation the day before, as it can be difficult to get one. Surprisingly, when we went, there was no one else there, so we could relax and enjoy our meal. The spicy miso was delicious, and the cloudy white soup for the hot pot was intriguing. I walked with a friend for an hour, sweated at Shiratama Onsen, and then went to Marushin to enjoy a reservation for two of hormone hot pot and raw senmai with bottled beer at 12 o'clock. The price was reasonable for the amount of hormone we got, and I personally enjoyed adding soy sauce to the broth. The bottled cola was nostalgic.

Located a little away from Kyobashi Station, there is a restaurant called Tomizuru. This was my first time visiting for lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time, so I opted for the lunch menu. The tongue, tripe, skirt steak, liver, and raw intestine were all tasty, especially the skirt steak which was thick and had no unpleasant smell. The sirloin was also good value for money. It's a bit hidden in an alley, but you can spot it by the red lantern with the name "Tomizuru". The interior is spacious and they provide vinyl bags to protect your belongings from smoke. I ordered the special salted tongue and premium grilled meat set. The quality of the finely textured beef tongue was evident at first glance. I enjoyed it by grilling one side and searing the other. The premium grilled meat set includes belly and loin cuts, both thickly sliced with fine marbling. As someone in their middle age, one piece was more than enough of this high-quality meat, especially considering the price. Even on a weekday, the restaurant was fully booked, with a high turnover of customers, so it's best to make a reservation before going!

This day was a year-end party with friends. The chosen restaurant was this one. I visited it once over 10 years ago and suddenly remembered that I wanted to eat their hot pot again. First, we toasted with draft beer. You can also enjoy yakiniku, but this day was all about hot pot: - Assorted premium hot pot (1,500 yen) x 5 - Kimchi assortment (600 yen) - Namul assortment (600 yen) The premium hot pot mainly consists of belly and skirt meat. Plenty of vegetables as well. Once it boils, mix it well. The meat is very tender. The vegetables included Chinese cabbage, onions, and green onions. At first, the flavor seemed a bit light, but as it simmers, it becomes just right. We wanted more, so we added more ingredients to the hot pot: - Hot pot vegetables (400 yen) x 2 - Tofu (300 yen) x 2 - Tteokbokki (300 yen) x 2 - Premium skirt meat (1,600 yen) x 2 - Intestine (800 yen) - Honeycomb tripe (850 yen) x 2 It's been a while, but I remembered that the honeycomb tripe was delicious, so we added it. It has a slight odor but a great chewy texture. The premium skirt meat was a friend's request. It had a beautiful marbling as well. We drank and ate a lot, but the cost was reasonable at around 4,500 yen per person. Everyone seemed satisfied, which is the most important thing. Thank you for the meal!
