On this day, I had some errands in Ebisu with my children. We decided to have a late lunch here on our way back. This is an acclaimed restaurant for shark fin dishes. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll see a huge shark fin displayed at the counter. However, in our family (especially in front of the children), we don't eat shark fin. I mentioned this in a review of this Ginza branch as well, but shark fin fishing is cruel and often associated with dark practices, leading many species to the brink of extinction. Considering this situation, I believe it's important for each of us to refrain from consuming it as much as possible, as even small actions like these can make a difference. Therefore, the children had a set meal. Among the predominantly shark fin-based menu items, we ordered: - Stir-fried Chinese vegetables (with garlic) (¥2,800) - Spring rolls (¥1,000) - Crab meat fried rice (¥1,800) - Negi (green onion) and char siu (roasted pork) spicy dipping noodles (¥1,600) - Plum sherbet (¥800) Also, sesame dumplings and oolong tea. I felt like the staff hesitated a bit when our order was placed... First, the stir-fried vegetables arrived. They were perfectly crunchy and stir-fried, receiving high praise from everyone! The slight flavor variation with oyster sauce was also wonderful! The spring rolls were filled with pork, and dipping them in salt created a perfect combination! Even the children loved it! The crab meat and lettuce fried rice had fluffy crab meat, crunchy lettuce, and perfectly cooked rice. It was so flawless that it seemed impossible to make a better fried rice! The highlight was the Negi and char siu spicy dipping noodles. The thinly sliced negi and char siu paired incredibly well with the thin noodles, making it very easy to eat! The broth had more of a numbing sensation than spiciness, but it was so delicious that my son eagerly devoured it, as expected, and even my daughter, who doesn't like spicy food, enjoyed it a lot! Whether it was the stir-fry, spring rolls, fried rice, or dipping noodles, they were all so delicious that just thinking about them makes me want to eat them again. The taste and quality were exceptional even without ordering any shark fin! The fact that they warmly accommodated my impolite order of not having shark fin at a renowned shark fin restaurant and provided such delicious dishes truly impressed me. It was incredibly delicious! If I were to dine here again, I might consider having shark fin on very special occasions only, as a fleeting thought crossed my mind (^_^;). Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I was recommended to come here if I go to Tokyo, so I arrived after 1 pm and had to wait a bit before being seated. I ordered the seasonal recommended cold abalone liver sauce, simmered sea cucumber, sea cucumber and crab meat over rice, and almond jelly. The dishes were served just at the right time, thanks to which they were very delicious without getting cold. They even gave me their business card and asked me to visit again when I was leaving. Thank you for the meal. Especially the abalone liver sauce and almond jelly were incredibly delicious, the best I've ever had.

I have been coming here since it was a small private shop. I love the taste of the shark fin here more than anywhere else. When you come here, you choose the amount of grams based on the thickness of the fibers you want to eat that day, and select a shark fin that has been restored to a good condition. Today, I had 300g of Yoshikiri shark fin, including the tail fin, of course. It's delicious to eat it with a separately ordered stir-fried yellow chive bean sprout dish. Another must-try is the shark fin soup with crab eggs. It has a beautiful orange color and a rich, mellow flavor that is addictive. Also, the stir-fried crab egg whites are irresistibly delicious. I feel like indulging in shark fin once every three months. I really want you to try the serious shark fin at Chikushiro.

This restaurant is famous for its shark fin soba for lunch. I ordered it with rice instead. The color is dark, but the taste is just right, slightly sweet and irresistible. It's quite filling, so men will definitely be satisfied. The set includes appetizers, soup, and dessert, but you can also order dim sum separately.

I went to the Ginza branch last time and it was delicious, so this time I went to the Ebisu branch! I was planning to only have the shark fin soup today, but my friend requested to have the dipping noodles, so we ended up eating that too ♡ It was so much to my liking that I got hooked on it haha The almond jelly that I couldn't eat last time due to being full was also exquisite. The interior of the Ginza branch is more luxurious, but the staff's service at both branches is excellent. It was so delicious that I am likely to go eat there again.

At Chikushiro in Ebisu, both the Fucalire soba and the chilled Fucalire soba have delicious broth! I enjoyed changing the flavors midway through each dish! Thank you for the wonderful meal (^。^) #EbisuGourmet #EbisuLunch #FucalireSoba

I couldn't make a reservation, so I went to the restaurant directly. The first floor was quite crowded. I wanted a private room for a family gathering, but it seemed costly so I gave up. Still, I could spend a relaxing time in a calm space. Weekend lunch seems to be more expensive and with different menu items than weekdays. The lunch set with shark fin stew was 4200 yen. The shrimp mayo at the beginning was so delicious. The dishes kept coming out quickly. Everything was tasty. Finally, the shark fin and rice. It was said that it's delicious to pour the sauce over the rice, and indeed, the rice went down smoothly. In the end, I finished it all. It's impressive to eat such a large shark fin. I heard the noodles are also delicious, so I want to come on a weekday.

In the midst of midsummer. Before opening, there were already three groups of customers lined up. That raised high expectations. Not wanting just ordinary shark fin soba, I ordered the course menu. It was not a mistake, but the presentation lacked a bit of finesse, which was disappointing. The shark fin was very large, placed on top of the rice, and I finished it all.

【Check Points】 - Abundant menu of shark fin dishes with satisfying portions - Easy to visit without a reservation at the large restaurant, Chikushirou Ebisu branch, where you can enjoy a large volume of shark fin dishes Chikushirou Ebisu branch is located in a corner of the love hotel district, about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station. The exterior has a solid atmosphere of a classic high-end Chinese restaurant. The interior is a large space with 180 seats, featuring a luxurious feel with white tablecloths and impeccably dressed staff in suits, creating a calm atmosphere for enjoying Chinese cuisine. Chikushirou is classified as a high-end Chinese restaurant, offering courses ranging from 6,500 yen to 70,000 yen that allow you to savor Chinese dishes made with premium ingredients. During this visit for lunch, we ordered a la carte dishes. Since we came to Chikushirou, we ordered the shark fin simmered rice dish. - Shark fin simmered rice: 2,400 yen This dish features a generous amount of shark fin in a soy-based sauce with thickened broth served in a bowl. The shark fin and rice are well coated in the thick soy-based sauce. The sauce has a rich flavor, and the rice goes down smoothly. By adding bean sprouts and black vinegar halfway through, you can enjoy changing textures and acidity, keeping the dish interesting until the last bite without getting tired. Although it falls into the higher price range at 2,400 yen, it was a lunch with high satisfaction. ◆I hope you find this information useful and can save it for reference◆

I visited here with my colleagues from work to enjoy a luxurious lunch, and we tried the shark fin ramen. It was my first time having shark fin ramen, and the thick soup topping over the noodles paired well with the rice. However, it didn't quite reach the level of being impressive. The almond jelly dessert after the meal was exquisite!

For the last meal of my Tokyo trip, I had a Chinese lunch♪ I wanted to eat shark fin, so I checked out this restaurant I had been eyeing♡ I made a reservation and went. It was fully booked, so making a reservation was the right choice. I was so thirsty~ Cheers with white wine✨✨ Lunch course: ♢ Today's appetizer - Bang Bang Chicken...quite exciting. ♢ Shark fin and crab roe soup - rich and delicious collaboration❤️ It's exquisite. ♢ Large shrimp with mayonnaise - I like this too...even just one piece brings satisfaction. ♢ Braised shark fin - the sauce is delicious♡ I want to pour it over rice!! ♢ Stir-fried clam with a fragrant aroma - the firm flesh is irresistible❤️ ♢ Soba in a clay pot with shark fin - it stayed piping hot until the end. ♢ Almond tofu - large‼︎ Gentle sweetness for cooling down✨ Satisfying in volume and taste❤️ The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very nice. Thank you for the meal(๑>◡<๑)

You can enjoy voluminous shark fin noodles at this renowned restaurant. The soup is also plentiful, so women may not be able to finish it all. The service is attentive, making it perfect for a luxurious lunch. The final tea is delicious, allowing you to relax and unwind. If dinner seems a bit pricey, lunch is a more affordable option. They also offer a simmered dish course, which I plan to try next time.

I was lucky to be able to dine here! I love the spring rolls at this restaurant, and I suddenly felt like having them, so it was lucky. First, a toast with beer! Then, I ordered a bottle of Shaoxing wine. I forgot to take a picture of the spring rolls because I ate them freshly fried, but they were still delicious as always! I enjoyed another a la carte meal this time, and I felt happy and full. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal!

After eating yakiniku, I remembered there was a famous restaurant in Ebisu, so even though I was full, I decided to visit. Since it was dinner time, I felt it might be rude to just order noodles, so I also ordered Peking duck and mapo tofu. The Peking duck had crispy skin and a perfect balance of sweet and savory sauce, and the staff graciously wrapped it for us, making it easy to eat and delicious. The mapo tofu had just the right amount of spiciness from doubanjiang and Sichuan peppercorns, making me order a small bowl of rice without thinking! Finally, I had the main dish of soba noodles with shark fin. By this point, I felt like I had eaten too much and was about to burst, but the chewy shark fin and rich, collagen-filled soup with a thick texture paired perfectly with the thin noodles. I enjoyed it until the end, changing the flavor with black vinegar! All the dishes were served by the staff. Probably, if I had eaten while feeling hungrier, it would have been even more delicious, so I definitely want to visit this renowned restaurant again.

The set meal of simmered sea cucumber. Finally got to try it on a weekday. Beautiful simmered sea cucumber, with collagen-infused, melt-in-your-mouth soup. Before that, we also enjoyed appetizers packed with shrimp, scallops, and crab flavors. It was a feast in the middle of summer. Next, I definitely want to try the sea cucumber simmered noodle soup.

I used to visit a restaurant at Tokyo Station that has now closed several times. Among all the dishes, I absolutely loved the deep-fried shark fin on top of yakisoba... The thickness of the noodles, the perfect level of grilling, and the thickness of the sauce were all to my liking. I had a great opportunity to visit the Chinese restaurant that was the parent of that restaurant. It was a little after 2 p.m. on a Saturday, and there were no waiting customers, but despite being alone, I was seated at a table for four, and the first-floor seats were full. Feeling a bit apologetic, I placed my order. The deep-fried shark fin and crab meat simmered rice cost around 2,600 yen? Wow, it's been a while since I've tasted this flavor! Come to think of it, the first dish I ordered at Tokyo Station was the crab-flavored one here too, reminiscing as I enjoyed it. The rice portion was large, but it was very delicious. Next time, I'll come with multiple people and try various dishes!!! Not only was the taste great, but the hospitality was outstanding. When I tried to order from the menu, they politely asked, "Is the salt flavor okay for you?" And even though I was alone and didn't order a drink, I thought it might be rude not to order anything, but they kindly offered, "Shall we bring you some warm tea?"... In the end, despite being a single diner ordering such an inexpensive single item menu, they even saw me off... The service was fantastic, the taste was fantastic, there's no reason not to go back. It's a shame that I can't have the same menu as at Tokyo Station, but... I wonder if the an sauce yakisoba will offer a similar taste experience? Next time, I'll give it a try!

I used this restaurant because my father requested shark fin soup for his birthday. It was my first visit. I went on a Saturday and was surprised to see many families with children, making it quite lively. It may not be suitable for those looking to enjoy high-end Chinese cuisine in a quiet setting. (I also have a small child, so I felt reassured in that aspect.) The service was good, but the dessert plate with a birthday message (an additional 2600 yen, I think) took a very long time to arrive, which was a bit disappointing at the end. We had the shark fin course, but some of the men felt it was a bit lacking without any rice dishes, so it might be a good idea to order additional items a la carte, such as fried rice.

"Tsukishiba-rou Ebisu branch" This restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants by Tabelog in 2023. Located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station West Exit in the love hotel district. I tried the Shark fin and dipping noodles set for 2800 yen. The set includes steamed chicken and eggplant, soup, and almond jelly. The shark fin dipping noodles have a thick soup that coats the thin, straight noodles well. The dipping sauce is rich and flavorful, with a deep and addictive taste. The shredded shark fin has a crunchy texture that is irresistible. The almond jelly was lightly sweet and refreshing, making it a perfect ending. It was delicious.
