When I went to Skytree with my boyfriend, we discovered a bar-like atmosphere from the escalator in Solamachi and thought we should go there later. We walked closer and found out it's not a high-end bar that's hard to get into, so even two young people like us could easily enter. The first thing we saw when we entered was the prosciutto - just like you see at bars overseas! We immediately ordered prosciutto and it was delicious. What impressed me the most was the wine cellar! You can actually go in and choose your own wine. There are comments and explanations, so even beginners can understand. We ordered a few wines and dishes, and it didn't even cost us 3000 yen - it was really cheap and satisfying. It's a new place, but I really liked it! There were a lot of solo customers and we even chatted with some regulars. It was really fun. I'll definitely go back next time I visit Skytree.

I visited the restaurant again. This time, I was disappointed... I understand that regular customers are important, but the difference in attitude towards first-time customers was too much?? I wonder if the previous friendliness was from a different staff member? There seemed to be several staff members, but I don't remember their faces so I'm not sure... When I left, they didn't even raise their head and just said "Thank you." They didn't seem that busy though... It was kind of disappointing... I had been curious about this BAR for a while. On this day, after drinking during the day, I decided to stop by one more place on the way back. I pass by the front of the shop every now and then, but I thought it might be for young people... so I was a little hesitant. If young people were playing darts and laughing, no way! But I ended up going in (laughs) The interior of the shop was longer than I thought, and a young bartender (I think?) welcomed me with a smile. The clientele of the shop was mostly young people, but they seemed calmer than I thought. I was seated by the window where I could see outside, although this seat might make my butt hurt a bit: There was a wine cellar room next to me, where you could go in and choose your own wine. The prices were clear and easy to understand. On this day, being the third place I visited, I ended with a glass of sparkling wine and a glass of red wine, but next time I would like to ask for a bottle. I didn't have high expectations for the service due to preconceptions, but the staff, despite being young, were polite, making it a good place I would like to visit again. Next time, I definitely want to try the food too!

I learned about this restaurant through a friend's recommendation and decided to visit while on my way to Skytree. It was just before 6 pm, so I wasn't sure if the restaurant would be open, but we climbed the stairs and ended up being the first customers. The owner was very friendly and noticed that we were a bit confused. The atmosphere was great, and the Jamon Serrano was really impressive! The interior of the restaurant was very clean, probably because it's a new establishment. The Asahi Special Select beer was only 500 yen, which seemed like a steal, so I ended up having about 3 glasses! Also, since the owner also owns the sushi restaurant downstairs, the seafood-based aioli was delicious. It had seaweed on top, which was a unique touch. I really enjoyed it!

At the end of the Haji-ko Bar event, the fourth stop was back to Oshiage at "Sumida Bar VIGOR". The interior of the bar is more like a bar than a bar, with a dim and stylish atmosphere. The place was almost full of customers who seemed to be participants of the Haji-ko Bar event. The bar menu includes wine (red, white, sparkling, sangria) + chili con carne or tortilla. I chose sparkling wine and chili con carne! Oh, but the sparkling wine was draft sparkling wine! The carbonation was weak and the taste was not that great. I should have gone with sangria instead. However, the chili con carne was delicious! Since it was the fourth stop, I couldn't finish it... I'm sorry T_T. This event, "Haji-ko Bar", seemed to attract a lot of people to the downtown area who don't usually go there. As a local resident, I am happy about that.
