Visited the popular restaurant "Jumbo Shirogane" that serves lunch on weekends and holidays. Unlike the "Shinozaki Main Store" or "Hongou Store," this place is a franchise that sources ingredients from the well-known "Meat Yazawa" and "BLACOWS" owned by Yazawa Meat Corporation. Made a reservation but the restaurant was almost fully booked. The interior is stylish with dim lighting and spotlights on the tables, creating a nice atmosphere. They offer various lunch options, and I tried the specialty Nohara-yaki premium set which allows you to enjoy a variety of dishes. The premium set costs 8800 yen and includes a salad, wakame soup, namul, kimchi, wagyu potato salad, and beef tongue stew. For appetizers, you can choose two types per person, so we selected four types for two people. The namul and kimchi were delicious but the portions were small. The meat quality is top-notch, and you can enjoy a variety of meats thinly sliced and juicy. The rice with grilled meat was excellent. The dessert, soft-serve ice cream, was delicious despite being very cold and hard. Overall, the food was delicious, and the high-quality meat made for an upscale yakiniku lunch experience. The restaurant has a trendy ambiance, and you might spot celebrities dining in private rooms.

From Tokyo Metro Shirokane Takanawa Station A4 exit, it's a little less than a 10-minute walk to "Yakiniku Jumbo Shirokane." Invited by close friends, I visited after a long time. Since it's a yakiniku restaurant started by a meat shop, you can also enjoy yukhoe with peace of mind. There were so many things to talk about that I couldn't capture everything in photos (;) We had a leisurely meal in a private booth. Jumbo Salad, Yukhoe, Beef Tongue, Kalbi, Thickly Sliced Kamonoko (with wasabi), No Hara Yaki, Upper Kalbi, Misuji, Cold Noodles with Rich Soup (shared), Stone Pot Bibimbap (shared), Assorted Kimchi, Draft Beer, Red Wine. The epitome of Jumbo, we also tried No Hara Yaki! The staff thinly sliced the sirloin and cooked it in front of us. We dipped it in the prepared egg and enjoyed it. It was like sukiyaki, but different from sukiyaki, haha. The thickly sliced Kamonoko with wasabi was also exquisite. The finale of cold noodles and bibimbap were delicious and my favorites. I usually try not to eat too much meat at night as it can disrupt my sleep (;) but I rarely visit yakiniku restaurants on my own, however, I found out they also serve lunch! I would like to visit on a holiday afternoon as well. Thank you for the meal ❤︎

Among the Jumbo Series, the Shirokane branch is relatively easy to make a reservation. I had the Premium Set during lunchtime. The meat was properly cooked to bring out its flavor, not too greasy and tender overall. The service was very polite, and they even taught me how to cook it properly. I can't say it's great value for money, but it's delicious, so that's okay. Delicious, so it's all good.

I'm not sure how many times I've been here, but I visited after a year! Everything I ate made me sigh with delight, but my favorite is the Chateaubriand ♡ It was so good that my cheeks dropped! High-quality meat, sweetness, juiciness. It's so delicious that it's a shame to swallow it!!! In addition to the dancing grilled beef tripe, lean meat, and tongue, I finished with my favorite curry. Thank you for the blissful time! I will definitely visit again!

We had a very comfortable time with our 9-month-old baby in a private room with a baby chair provided. The beef tongue and Nozawayaki were truly delicious! There was a limit of 2 pieces per person for the tongue, and we were saying we wanted to order more because it was so tasty. We will visit again.

Yakiniku Jumbo first visit. Nohara-yaki ⭐︎ delicious! Sankaku misuji ⭐︎ Upper Harami Hatsu thick-cut tongue ⭐︎ Jumbo salad yukke ◎ I think the meat quality is good. I couldn't chew the Upper Harami (;_;) Grilling meat makes a huge difference depending on how well it's cooked, so it's tricky. It's a serious match when you have to do it yourself without a grilling pro. This time was one of the challenges to get better. Lol

Delicious... I say this without any exaggeration. It was the most delicious beef tongue I have ever eaten. I forgot how much one piece cost, but it was a price that I can only afford to come occasionally. I could only order up to two pieces per person, but still, still, still very satisfied! It's not common for a yakiniku restaurant to have such delicious beef tongue. I already liked beef tongue, but now I like it even more. Also, the high-priced meat, like the "No Hara Yaki" that costs around 2500 yen per piece, was also incredibly delicious. I even drank the egg. It may seem stingy, but that's how much my mouth craves it. It seems like it will be a long time before I can go again, but if there is a celebration or happy occasion, I definitely want to go back to this place.

Visited the Shirogane branch on a Monday as the nearby restaurants were fully booked for our company's appreciation dinner. Despite it being a weekday, the popular restaurant was still packed. We opted for the chef's special assortment that could be ordered on the spot without a reservation. Starting with meat sushi, the meal included tender and chewable Tan sukiyaki-style meat, Kaonomi, and other flavorful meats. The set also came with salad, kimchi, drinks, dessert, and rice served separately. Overall, the food was delicious, but perhaps due to my age, I couldn't eat the marbled meat and ended up giving it to my junior. Next time, I'll go for lean cuts.

I finally visited the long-awaited Jumbo-san♡ The meat is of high quality and everything I ate was delicious!! If you make a reservation about a month in advance, you can still get a table, so I would like to visit again!! ⭐️5⭐️ I want to keep coming back. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone. ⭐️4⭐️ If someone asks for a recommended restaurant, I will introduce it. ⭐️3⭐️ I might go again~ ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm~ I would prefer to try a different restaurant if possible. ⭐️1⭐️ Personally, I do not recommend it. 🧍♀️ Instagram @tokyo_gourmet_yokutaberuko On my food blog, "Yokutaberuko who eats well/Tokyo Gourmet," I only introduce restaurants with a rating of 4 or 5 stars on Tabelog.

Assorted kimchi, assorted namul, premium yukhoe, chef's choice set, tongue, harami, chateaubriand, grilled field horsetail, turtle meat, triangle-cut pork belly, beef tendon, beef fillet, rice, grilled field horsetail only. The staff grills it for you. Quite a generous portion. Including drinks, it cost 61,230 yen for three people! There was a somewhat unfriendly staff member, which was a bit disappointing.

Visited Yakiniku Jumbo Shirokane for the first time. After looking at the menu and hearing recommendations from the staff, we decided to order the "Omakase Course for 15,000 yen per person" which includes premium cuts. We chose this course because it also included the Sirloin Nohara-yaki that we wanted to try. We were served with Beef Tongue, Wagyu Sushi, Yukke, Nohara-yaki, Chateaubriand, and three types of lean meat. We also added on the Minced Meat. For the finale, we had cold noodles in beef bone soup and stone-grilled Wagyu garlic rice. All the meats were delicious, especially the Nohara-yaki which was truly addictive.

You can order almost all menu items even during lunchtime (excluding those with notes at the bottom of the official dinner menu). The thick-cut tongue was really delicious...! I forgot to take a photo, but I also had the yukhoe. The sauce was quite sweet, and it was a bit disappointing that it felt more like enjoying the sauce rather than the taste of the meat. I had a great time celebrating my good mom's birthday!

Budget: 10,000 to 15,000 yen
Order: A la carte
Stay time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Reservation: Made through Tabelog
Located in the prestigious area of Shirokanedai, this branch of the renowned Jumbo yakiniku chain is highly regarded. While there are other branches in Shinzaki and Hongomachi 3-chome, this was my first visit to the city center location. Operated by Yazawa Meat, reservations are relatively easy to secure compared to other branches, and the convenient access prompted my curiosity. However, overall, it didn't surpass the other branches. The interior exudes a Minato-ku vibe, creating a quite luxurious ambiance. The menu lineup is quite similar to others, and the quality of the meat is also comparable, but lacking in satisfaction. The Yukke is flavorful with a strong lean meat taste, quite delicious. However, it left me with the impression that places like Shinzaki have a higher level of quality. Additionally, the prices here are unnecessarily high. The ambience is not as luxurious as expected, and the cost performance is not great, making it somewhat underwhelming. If you seek the same excitement as other branches, be cautious as there might be a gap. While it may appeal to those who prioritize atmosphere, if you want to enjoy an irresistibly delicious meat feast, I recommend visiting Shinzaki or Hongomachi instead. I probably won't revisit the Shirokanedai branch.
[Order Details]
- Sirloin Nohara-yaki: I thought it would be bigger. It seemed a bit small.
- Authentic Yukke: Delicious.
- Senmai (beef intestine) sashimi: A bit watery but still good.
- Thick-sliced premium tongue
- Thinly sliced tongue with salt
- Upper Harami (skirt steak): The salted items in this range were somewhat mediocre.
- Shinshin (beef shoulder): Delicious with a mild sauce, but the quality was average.
- Cold noodles
- Assorted kimchi: Very generous portions.

For a family birthday celebration, we went to our favorite yakiniku restaurant. The room didn't smell like grilled meat, and it was very clean and stylish with mouthwash and toothbrushes in the restroom. The meat, rice, and kimchi were all delicious. Instead of eating a lot, you can savor the meat properly. We had beer, sours, kimchi platter, salad, tongue salt, top harami, kalbi x2, harami, shimacho, rice. And for the birthday, a dessert platter (reservation required by the day before). The pudding and ice cream were exquisite! We didn't order it this time, but the tamago kake gohan is also amazing. It cost around 25,000 yen for three people. Very satisfied. Next time, I want to try more horumon!

Located in Shirokan, there is a restaurant called "Yakiniku Jumbo Shirokan". They offer an omakase course starting with ordering Yukhoe, then serving various cuts of meat such as tongue, harami, Chateaubriand, and thick sirloin. Of course, we also tried the Yawarayaki! The finale was the pre-ordered fillet rice dish! It was incredibly delicious!

We ordered thinly sliced tongue salt, kalbi, harami, premium harami, yukke wakame soup, large rice, assorted kimchi, sherbet ice cream, soft serve ice cream, 2 highballs, and 2 oolong highballs, and the total bill came to exactly 20,000 yen! Great value for money! The thinly sliced sirloin seemed to be a specialty, but unfortunately, we missed out on trying it! We ordered kalbi, but we got a cut of meat that seemed more like sirloin, haha. I wish we had taken a photo! The rice was perfectly cooked, and as soon as the meat arrived, the rice was served, and the staff quickly noticed when the grill needed changing!

I couldn't reach them by phone at all, so I made a reservation by registering a deposit online! (I was a little nervous about the 24,000 yen deposit. lol) [Ordered items] A la carte green salad, edamame and beef tendon chawanmushi, loin ⚪︎ kalbi ◎ tongue thinly sliced ◎ yukhoe ◎ shimachou ⚪︎ curry ◎ cold noodles ◎ white rice large and small, plus 2 bottles of bottled beer. I might have ordered a bit too much, but lol I thought the a la carte menu was surprisingly cost-effective. The sauce was really to my liking, and I found both Kinryuzan and this place to be top-notch in Shirokane.

I used it for lunch. It was a holiday and there were many families with children. The atmosphere of the restaurant is stylish with a black base. I ordered the Gokumi Set. I chose two appetizers, and the simmered beef tongue was tender and delicious. There were various cuts like tongue, harami, wild field grill, and chateaubriand. I had to wait a bit for the wild field grill because they cook it for you, and it had a slightly burnt taste. It seems that the outcome varies depending on the cook. Thank you for the meal.

I've been to many delicious yakiniku restaurants, but this one was the best. The quality of the meat was outstanding! It was so delicious that the alcohol went down easily, and we even had wine. That's how good it was. The meat was sparkling and we were delighted. And the garlic rice... there's no doubt that the garlic rice at a yakiniku restaurant is delicious. I was very satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

It was incredibly delicious. There's no need for further explanation. It's a flawless classic yakiniku experience. Great atmosphere, quality of meat, and service - truly the best of the best. However, it is a bit pricey. Still, compared to high-end sushi restaurants, kaiseki, or Chinese restaurants, it's not that expensive. If you love yakiniku, have been to various places, today is a special day, and you can spend some decent money, then you should definitely go there. The time to go might be now.

This yakiniku was unlike any course I've had before, ranking number one! Everything felt a notch above your average restaurant. From the first kimchi assortment, I was already blown away. This kimchi was a first for me - not too salty, with a completely different depth of flavor. The thick-cut beef tongue (1200 yen per slice) was amazing - great chewiness. The harami was incredibly delicious, no hint of gaminess, tender like kalbi but not too fatty. The miso with the lettuce was a perfect match. The yukhoe was truly melt-in-your-mouth tender, just wished it was a bit less sweet. The tan cut-offs were a bit tough to chew, but fresh, cheap, and tasty. The premium meat assortment had the Shinshin and sankaku, which were the only letdowns - too lean, a bit lacking. The freshly grated wasabi paired well with the sankaku, super tasty! The kalbi at the end was surprisingly not very kalbi-like, less fatty than the sankaku, but still delicious even when dipped in sauce. The other items like the maximum and egg soup, beef bone soup were super tasty, with the egg being incredibly fluffy as mentioned. The cold noodles were just delicious with the soup, and the seasoned egg and beef slices were also very tasty. If the bill was under 24,000 yen for 2 people, I'd seriously want to go every week!
