When I checked Instagram, I saw many pictures of shokupan and hard breads, with a post saying they had baked two types of classic bread - shokupan, campagne, pain de campagne, baguette, ciabatta. When I visited after 12 o'clock, there were still hard breads in the case, but no shokupan. They also sell wine, so I thought they must be good at using yeast, and I visited with the intention of trying the hard breads. Although they had cute hedgehog-like breads, I skipped them this time. I bought 1/4 of pain de campagne, sakura ciabatta, and chorizo bread. The pain de campagne was a decent size even though I bought 1/4. They accept PayPay. The crumb of the pain de campagne was very fluffy with a slight gloss, looking delicious even before eating. The aroma was mainly of the crust, with a complex wheat scent. When I took a bite, it was very fragrant, the crumb was chewy like the fatty part of prosciutto. I could feel a slight acidity. When it touched my tongue, it was fizzy, and when I swallowed, I felt the saltiness of the bread and the buttery richness. Even though I bought 1/4, it seemed like it would disappear quickly even if I bought a whole one (laughs). The chorizo bread had a strong aroma of wheat expanding rather than the roasted scent of the pain de campagne, and the crumb was also outstanding. Besides chorizo, there were caramelized onions. The spiciness of the chorizo was tingling on the tongue. Ah, but because I learned about the greatness of the pain de campagne earlier, I wanted to try the bread alone without the chorizo (laughs). As for the sakura ciabatta, I will eat it later, so for now, these are the reviews of these two items. It's easy to be drawn to cute breads that look good on social media, but be sure to try the hard breads!
