On Saturday evening, my husband and I had some errands in Shinjuku. We decided to have dinner afterwards. I suggested this place in advance and made a reservation for 6:00 pm. We used navigation to find the restaurant, but when we arrived at the destination, we were puzzled. Was the restaurant really here? The address said it was on the 3rd floor of a building, but we couldn't see any signs when we looked up at the buildings around. Eventually, we found a sign at the entrance of an old small building. We went up a few stairs and took the old elevator with buttons labeled with arrows pointing up instead of triangles. Even though the button for our floor didn't light up, we managed to arrive safely. The door opened to the right. It was a bit difficult to open, but we bravely entered. The restaurant had a counter with 6 seats and tables for 8 people. The place was full. The staff were Japanese, and we ordered the following dishes (all prices include tax): Paneer and colorful vegetable salad for ¥800, Duck cold dish with Nepalese Sichuan pepper aroma for ¥930, Lamb seekh kebab for ¥980, Two kinds of tandoori chicken for ¥850, Cheese kulcha for ¥730, Spicy Achari mutton for ¥1,300, Jasmine rice (half portion) for ¥300. Everything was amazingly delicious, especially the duck cold dish, which was exquisite. It was tender, without any strong flavors, unlike any duck I had tasted before. The seekh kebab and cheese kulcha were also very tasty. The mint sauce that came with the seekh kebab and tandoori chicken was excellent. I didn't eat much curry, but the little I tried was very delicious. For drinks, I had jasmine tea for ¥400 and hot chai for ¥530 after the meal. The chai had a perfect spice blend that I really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly. We paid at our table, and the total bill was ¥8,280. I would definitely like to visit this place again. Next time, I want to try the potato salad, dry chicken and nuts, tandoori pork, and more, in addition to the outstanding duck cold dish. It was truly delicious. As it is a small restaurant, reservations are essential. On that day, many customers who arrived without reservations were turned away. The restroom is located behind the counter seats at the back. You have to ask people sitting there to move their chairs a bit to access it, which can be a bit inconvenient.
