This time, I tried the limited edition "Chicken Miso Ramen" that is available for one month starting from February, and can be enjoyed by presenting the main magazine of Ramen Walker Kansai 2023. The soup is made from chicken broth with a moderate amount of oil added, blended with salt sauce made from seaweed salt, resulting in a rich and distinct miso flavor with a strong aroma. The noodles are made from a blend of Haruyutaka, Ise no Hibiki, and Kyoto premium wheat, aged for a week to create a supple texture with a rich wheat flavor. The large and thick piece of grilled chicken adds a lot of volume and a satisfying chew, allowing you to fully enjoy the savory taste of the meat. I am a solo idol fan who goes out once a month in Higashi-Osaka for activities. I searched for ramen rankings in Higashi-Osaka and it was past 2 PM, so there were few open shops. I always wonder why ramen shops also have an idle time. Today, I went to Chukasoba Kyubei Main Store. I liked the visuals of the place, and the female staff was efficient and kind, even though I was alone they offered me a table seat. I hesitated a lot, but since I had never been there before, I decided to go for the Chukasoba. I like the sweetness of beef offal, so I was wondering if the pork chashu would be tough, but it was actually very tender. The pork belly was also very soft and easy to chew. The menma was thick but still easy to bite through. In conclusion, it was delicious, and even without the beef offal, it was still great because of the rich back fat. I should have also ordered the half-fried rice. If there was a ramen shop like this near my house, it would be amazing. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Higashi-Osaka is unexpectedly a fierce battleground for ramen, and I love it.

This is a delicious ramen with a balanced combination of light soy sauce and back fat. The noodles are medium thickness and have a satisfying texture that pairs well with the soup. The seasoned egg is perfect to eat with fried rice, and I wish there was more bamboo shoots. The chashu is tender and compliments the soup nicely. The staff are excellent as well. However, the fried rice has a milder flavor compared to the ramen, so it's not very memorable. I found this place by searching on Tabelog while on a business trip and it was the highest-rated one nearby. I had the Ajitama Ramen for 850 yen and a small bowl of rice for 350 yen. I didn't know about Takaida Ramen before, so it was a pleasant surprise. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Unlike popular ramen shops in Osaka that boast about their chewy noodles and intricate flavors, this place keeps it simple, which I really liked. It was a busy lunchtime and there were a few groups waiting outside, which shows how popular it is. Now, I'm on my way to the next meeting.

Today, I returned to Osaka early and decided to visit the popular restaurant Chuka Soba Kyubei Honten near the Higashi-Osaka City Hall. This place is often crowded during lunchtime, so I recommend visiting later in the afternoon to avoid the long lines. Chuka Soba Kyubei Honten is located at 2-3-6 Aramoto Kita, Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

I tried the Chuka Soba for 750 yen and an extra serving of noodles (kaedama) for 150 yen. I visited this place based on its high popularity in the area, and the ramen was indeed delicious! The soy sauce broth was refreshing with a rich pork bone flavor, not too light. The noodles were slightly thick, providing a nice chewy texture. I would love to come back again if I'm in the area!

Conclusion: "Ramen the morning after a drinking party is delicious." The day after drinking, I suddenly craved ramen and went to this shop with my friends at 10:30 am. I had Kyubei soba for 1200 yen. Char siu: good, it felt like the base of the whole dish was built around the char siu. Egg: not runny, slightly firm. Menma: average. The taste and cost performance may not be as good as famous shops, but being able to have morning ramen was the best part!

It's the first day of the Obon holiday. I paid my respects to my ancestors at the family altar in the morning. Now it's already lunchtime. I decided to go to a restaurant with a parking lot, and it turned out to be quite empty. I ordered a regular Chuka soba for 750 yen and a regular fried rice for 600 yen. The fried rice arrived first and although it was a bit salty, the taste was good. Then the ramen arrived, which was a dark-colored Kotaida style. The appearance was deceiving as the taste was not as strong as it looked. The noodles were flat and smooth, and the soup had a nice texture. The chashu was thick and satisfying. I enjoyed the addition of green onions and shallots as toppings. Overall, the portion size was a bit small, but in terms of cost-performance, it was a satisfying ramen that I would be happy to come back to. Thank you!

Two people visited the restaurant around 11am on Sunday. They wanted to try something different from last time, so they shared the limited edition Tsukemen, Kyubei Soba without soup, and the large Cha-han. When the Kyubei Soba without soup arrived, it was a bit clumped together, making them laugh. It contained bean sprouts, thick noodles (200g each), and chunky char siu (120g), topped with a tablespoon of garlic. Even though one of them wasn't a big fan of Jiro-style ramen, they mixed the noodles well and prepared to dig in. The steam rising as they mixed indicated that it was going to be delicious. They first tried the bean sprouts and found them tasty. The noodles were also delicious, soaking up the strong and flavorful sauce. As they continued eating, they felt the flavor was a bit intense, but in the hot summer weather, the extra saltiness might be good for re-energizing the body. They also tried the Kyubei Soba, which was consistently delicious. Adding the powdered yuzu on the table gave it a refreshing twist. The large Cha-han came in a bowl and was tasty, although it lacked the punch of salt and pepper compared to their previous visit. Overall, it was a delicious ramen restaurant with friendly staff, and they would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I couldn't come up with a clear menu idea, so I decided to get off at C-line. Although I had imagined having curry, I suddenly got off like a mid-way stop, and ordered the usual half-chahan set. There are convenient eateries near each station along the C-line, making it easy to dine. I tend to lean towards the C-line side, rather than the Nara line, with its many charming dining options.

I often visit Aramoto Station and always receive great service there. I realized that it's not too far from the Chinese restaurant in front of the station. Whenever I work during lunchtime and break a sweat, I head over there. I always go for the half-chahan set, but I might start choosing slightly lighter options as the season changes.

I had never been there before, but when I tried it, the ramen was really delicious! The tenderness of the chashu was also excellent. It's a shame that they close a bit early, but it's near my workplace so I will definitely go back! Next time, I want to try the cold noodles for sure!

On June 7, 2023, I had a delicious ramen with seasoned boiled egg for ¥850 and a rice ball for ¥100 at the restaurant. The menu at the entrance didn't have the exact option I wanted, so I randomly selected something similar on the ticket machine. It seemed like they had two staff members working during lunchtime, probably a couple. I sat at the central counter where you return dishes and get your order, which was a bit noisy. The ramen arrived in about 4-5 minutes, and it was a traditional soy sauce flavor. The soup was rich but not too salty, and I enjoyed the chopped aromatic vegetables added as well. The noodles were medium-thick and had a nice chewy texture. The service at the restaurant was good. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I arrived by car because it was past lunchtime. The restaurant is right at the corner, so be careful when turning. There is a parking lot in front of the store, which is convenient. I ordered "Zenbu-nose" and fried rice. I usually don't like soy sauce-based ramen, but I really liked the balanced soup of the rich Kawai-style ramen. It wasn't too rich, and the amount of fat was just right, making it delicious. The addition of "abura-kasu" was also tasty. Thank you for the meal.

I am a "Takaida-style foodie" who loves to try various foods, and occasionally there are places that I feel like I must try. This restaurant makes me feel more welcomed with each visit, almost like getting used to its flavors. The standout feature is the use of red onions, which always reminds me it's time to visit Kuhei. However, around 5:30 pm is when many city hall employees finish work, so you have to go against the flow to get to the restaurant. But it's not too far, which means it's time for another update to my "Kuhei standard" when eating out.

We arrived after 12 o'clock. We visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. There were 6 groups waiting. It was worth the wait! I had the Ajitama Shoyu Ramen with Fried Rice (requested by my partner to be regular size), while my partner had the Kyubei Soba Pork Rice with Gyoza and a set of draft beer. The ramen was beautiful! The noodles had a nice wheat aroma! The fried rice had a great pepper flavor that I really liked! The pork rice had a sweet seasoning! The gyoza, although small, had a strong flavor that paired well with the beer! I can only imagine how good it tasted! The service was also pleasant, and I really want to support this kind of restaurant. We will definitely come back.

Right after the end of the WBC, I visited this place for lunch for the first time. I was torn between the Chinese noodles and salt noodles, but ended up choosing the Chinese noodles with seasoned egg on top. When I took a sip of the soup, the flavor of the broth and oil residue spread out and it was delicious. As soon as I tasted the noodles, the thick and chewy noodles reminded me of fresh pasta and were very tasty. The thickly sliced chashu was tender and delicious. The dumplings were small but had a chewy and rich skin which was also tasty. I took a bite of the "han-chan" that my family ordered, and the flavor of the pepper was indescribably delicious. The staff's service was also very pleasant, and I definitely plan to visit again.
