On Friday night, I made a reservation and arrived a little late. The staff were very accommodating despite my tardiness, for which I am grateful. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was overwhelmed by the great atmosphere and live music. I chose to order a la carte so I could try a variety of dishes. The salad, meat dishes, and seafood were all delicious, and my friends were very satisfied. The wine and sparkling wine paired well with the meal, and I definitely want to come back again.

I went to Zex Tokyo at Daimaru Tokyo for lunch. They had a strawberry dessert, and since I love Italian food and strawberries, I just had to go. I made a reservation right away and the restaurant is located on the top floor of Daimaru Tokyo. The lighting was dimmer compared to other floors, creating a calm atmosphere. It was lunchtime on a holiday, so there were families and lively groups of girls, making the atmosphere bright. The restaurant had big windows that reached the ceiling, making the interior very bright. The food selection wasn't extensive, but everything looked delicious. I tried some pizza, ham, and vegetables, and they were all tasty. The truffle risotto was also delicious. And then, the strawberries! The dessert options were not many, but all the cakes looked delicious. The strawberries were a bit sour, but the pistachio and strawberry cake was really good. I had such a good experience during lunch that I revisited on another day. The weather was great on the day of my revisit. I made a last-minute reservation, so I got a sofa seat as the table seats were all taken. The sofa was comfortable, but a bit dirty. I ordered my favorite grape juice from the additional drink menu. It was delicious and felt like I was drinking wine. The food was consistently delicious, and the casual atmosphere of the restaurant made it easy to enjoy. I look forward to visiting again during Mont Blanc season and trying their teppanyaki as well.

You can enjoy a spacious adult space using the entire top floor of Tokyo Daimaru. This time, I visited by making a reservation for a lunch buffet for 5,200 yen, which also included a business meeting. The variety of dishes can be seen in the photos. I felt that there were slightly fewer fruits (did I overlook them?). Nevertheless, both the pasta and risotto were delicious, and in my opinion, this buffet style meal deserves the highest score. However, there is a 100-minute time limit, and despite the place being empty, being persistently asked to leave is a bit questionable for a restaurant of this caliber at this price point. Nevertheless, I have found a favorite spot, so I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.

My friend made a reservation for a window seat with a great view, we toasted with sparkling wine, enjoyed elegant dishes, had a bottle brought to us in the middle, and toasted again. The main meat dish was delicious, and just when we were reluctant to leave, a surprise! A dessert plate was brought to us! It was a wonderful birthday celebration.

The lunch buffet was mediocre. The taste was generally average, but the popularity seems to come from the luxurious atmosphere and the view overlooking the Imperial Palace. However, it didn't really impress me at all. Sorry. I wish they would focus more on the taste despite it being a buffet. Also, there was a staff member who seemed indifferent, which was not good at all.

Today's dinner reservation menu for the course included dishes such as bonito paella, black wagyu tripe with white beans in Genovese style, octopus and olive ragout orecchiette, Shizuoka red fuji pork cutlet with burnt butter sauce, Kagoshima black pork grillia with porcini mushrooms in cocoa-scented Marsala sauce, and Montebianco with cassis and berry sorbet. All dishes made use of seasonal ingredients and focused on bringing out the natural flavors. The drinks included a little Prosecco and red wine.

This is a shop located on the top floor of Daimaru, directly connected to Tokyo Station. When you enter the shop, you will see a spacious area leading to a large window. The elegant view of the Marunouchi buildings and the Imperial Palace spreads out before you. The location allows you to look down almost directly on Tokyo Station, with the Shinkansen trains coming and going. It was just before the Obon holidays in August, and Tokyo Station was already crowded with people! There were long lines everywhere, including at the shop and the ticket counters. However, once you make your way through the crowds and reach the 13th floor to enter "XEX TOKYO"... it's like the hustle and bustle below was just a lie! It was a relaxing, quiet, and luxurious space. I had the summer lunch buffet (¥5,500), and the dishes such as duck, smoked salmon, and aqua pazza were all very flavorful and delicious. There were so many desserts to choose from, like melon and white wine jelly cake, pistachio madeleines, and melon roll cake, all with a summer-like lineup full of melon.

The atmosphere is great! The night view is beautiful, and there is live music, making it perfect for a date. However, the live music is too loud, so it's hard to have a conversation. The food is delicious, but it seems overpriced. The teppanyaki restaurant next door was much better, so I don't think I'll be going back for a second visit.

I made a reservation the day before and was only able to get a table at 2:00 pm. I chose a sofa and table this time, as I was looking forward to the buffet. I was so hungry that I didn't take many photos. There was salad, roast beef, risotto, cold corn soup, pizza, curry, and pasta. They also had bouillabaisse and caciatore. The risotto was delicious. For dessert, there was melon mousse, bavarois, and macarons. If you sit by the window, you can see Tokyo Station and trains, which must make some people very happy. My friend, whom I hadn't seen in a while, was the same as always, and it was a relaxing and refreshing time. The bill was settled at the table, but I was surprised that with PayPay, you have to leave your phone. I had an Italian buffet at a restaurant on the 13th floor of Daimaru in Tokyo Station. The elevator at Daimaru has three floors, but only one goes to the 13th floor, so be careful. When you get off the elevator on the 13th floor, you'll find a chic and stylish space. The price is a bit high at 5200 yen (including tax), but considering the location, it's worth it. The seating is limited to 100 minutes, so make sure to eat within the time limit! The salad bar offers a variety of vegetables and dressings. The drinks selection is not extensive, but everything was delicious. There aren't many food options, but the pizza is very tasty. The pizzas are baked in front of you, with about five different types available. Depending on the time, some options may run out quickly, but they are all delicious when freshly baked. The Quattro Formaggi and truffle pizzas were particularly delicious. Watching the truffle being shaved in front of you was a fun experience with a great aroma. The truffle and anchovy cream cheese dip was also delicious. The roast beef was tender and tasty. The dessert selection was also extensive, with tropical fruits like melon, passion fruit, and mango. The melon almond jelly was my favorite. The white chocolate fountain was a beautiful sight to see! This buffet seems perfect for a classy girls' night out.

I thought it was my first visit, but then I realized I had been here before when I saw my review on Tabelog from 12 years ago. The atmosphere is great, with a nice view on the top floor of Daimaru. This time, I came for a lunch buffet to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the deciding factor was the melon dessert. The tables around us were all filled with groups of women, who clearly know good food. Salvatore offers delicious pasta, pizza, curry, plenty of vegetables, and tasty roast beef. The cold corn soup was unlimited and very refreshing. The highlight was the wide variety of desserts! As a food-loving pregnant woman after 8 years, I wish there were more decaf drink options besides juice. The cappuccino was delicious, but I wish there were instructions on how to make it. We had a great time until the end. Definitely will come back!

This is a considerably delayed post, but I went to the strawberry lunch buffet at XEX TOKYO. All-you-can-eat strawberries!! I probably ate enough strawberries to make up for the cost just with them, and I was very satisfied. The standout items from the Salvatore series were definitely the roast beef and pizza. The colorful vegetables were also delicious. I ate way too much of everything. The desserts were shaped like flowers and everything was covered in pink, creating a dreamy flower garden atmosphere. The view from the window was of the grand trains departing from Tokyo Station, and beyond that, the Marunouchi and Imperial Palace area. This location would be irresistible for train enthusiasts and those who want to feel the essence of Tokyo.

I have been to the lunch buffet several times. As always, the food was delicious and I left with a full stomach. It was my first time sitting by the window, and I could see the Imperial Palace and the National Diet Building, which was a lovely seat. The roast beef was tender and tasty. Today's dessert featured seasonal strawberries, and they were all delicious. Eating them as they are was especially tasty. The salad was fresh and the pizza was freshly baked, with seasonal cherry shrimp that was delicious. The staff's service was not bad, but it would be even better if the male staff were a bit more cheerful and proactive in their customer service. If I have the chance, I would like to visit again.

When feeling troubled, for some reason this restaurant comes to mind. Perhaps it's because of the glass-walled private rooms situated between teppanyaki and Italian cuisine? Anyway, let's start with a toast. Champagne and grape juice. Now, what to choose from the a la carte menu? I decided on the water buffalo burrata and tomato caprese, zepolle, today's pizza (sakura shrimp, asparagus, bamboo shoots, mozzarella cheese), and 100g of chateaubriand. The staff kindly agreed to serve items that could be divided for two separately. The caprese burrata is light and delicious, with sweet tomatoes. The zepolle is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! The French bread and brioche were served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which made them even more delicious. The toppings on the pizza were good, especially the texture of the bamboo shoots. I requested spicy olive oil, which took a while to arrive, causing the hot pizza to cool down. I reluctantly took a bite without it. Apologizing, I asked for a red wine refill, a Tuscan wine. When the red wine and spicy olive oil finally arrived, I drizzled it over the remaining pizza, making it tastier despite being lukewarm. The beef chateaubriand was served as a 50g portion. Do not underestimate this meat. When you take a bite, it's chateaubriand (meaning delicious). It paired well with the red wine. I'm starting to feel full. As for dessert? I decided to pass. Finally, I ordered chamomile tea as a finishing touch. I settled the bill at the table and left the stylish atmosphere behind. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for a White Day dinner. It was my 7th or 8th visit, but I felt that the quality of service from the staff had declined. The taste was still delicious, but when I ordered Bolognese as the last dish, the portion was small and elegant.

There was no separate reception at each store, so I was asked to wait behind a group of people using the bar, and I had to wait for a long time at the cloakroom. The seat was next to the bar, so it was very noisy and I couldn't hear any explanation of the dishes. I chose the Chateaubriand course, but the meat was just average. The bread was not even warmed up and there was no special bread, and they didn't recommend adding more even after finishing it. The pace of the dishes was slow and the food was just average. I chose an expensive course for the celebration, but maybe it's better to have something more casual at this restaurant. The view was nice!

The music was a bit loud, but the song selection was great, with trendy hits from the past 20 years. It created a lively party atmosphere. The food was delicious as expected, and the portions were satisfying. The pork dish recommended by the staff was a great choice. The only downside was that the visa dish was slightly burnt, but it seemed like a one-off mistake. Overall, I was highly satisfied and would love to visit this restaurant again.
