A one-night, two-day trip to Osaka. We visited during lunchtime at the Yoshimoto New Comedy Theater. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a huge line. However, this was the line for takeout, waiting for freshly baked cheesecake. We avoided that line and went upstairs. The café for dining in also had a wait, but they had a system where they would call or message you when your table was ready. We were told there was a wait of about 1 hour for 8 groups. We decided to wait at a nearby café. We were called in just a little over 1 hour. The line outside the restaurant still showed no signs of ending. The café was spacious and relaxing, but we had to eat quickly as we had other plans coming up. We ordered iced coffee, apple juice, and a freshly baked cheesecake. Even though they offered a quarter slice, we decided to get a whole cheesecake in the end. It was nice that we could take home any leftovers. It only took 10 minutes for our order to arrive. The cheesecakes are baked every 7 minutes, so it seemed like they were served pretty quickly once you were seated. The cheesecake looked visually appealing with Mr. Rikuro's brand on it. As we cut into it, the cheesecake seemed to almost avoid the knife, showing how soft and delicate it was. It melted in our mouths, with a taste that was more eggy than cheesy. It was light and easier to eat than it appeared. My daughter ate half of the whole cheesecake, while I was satisfied with just a quarter. The drink came with a small decanter, so it seemed like a place where you could relax and take your time. They have a 90-minute time limit during busy hours, but it felt like you could enjoy a leisurely meal within that time frame. It was a great restaurant, but we should have allowed more time for our visit. Lesson learned.

Fluffy cheesecake with grapes at the bottom, adding a nice touch to the delicious taste. It's consistently good every time. I had it chilled since it's summer. This shop always has a long line, and it seems like they're getting more customers from overseas. I'll definitely be buying it again soon.

When in Osaka, I always want to buy Rikuro Ojisan's cheesecake to take home. I went to Umeda Daimaru to buy Kitazushi's Mitarashi dango and saw a long line at Rikuro Ojisan's shop there too. I planned to go to the Namba main store, but when I checked Tabelog, I realized that the main store I knew was not there. It turns out that they moved to Namba Nankai Street in April 2014, almost 10 years ago! I also noticed that the prices have increased since then. In 2008, the cheesecake was 588 yen including tax, but now it's 965 yen, almost 1.6 times more. Still, being able to buy a freshly baked whole cheesecake for around 1,000 yen is great. The instructions say to refrigerate the cheesecake within 7 hours if you buy it 2 hours before it was baked. I managed to put it in the fridge just in time. I thought about cutting it normally, but decided to try the new idea of Rikuro cut as suggested on the package. Thankfully, it worked out well!

I stopped by after visiting the grave. There were a lot of customers waiting in line for freshly baked goods, but I ignored them and headed straight to the reservation machine at Riku Cafe Room. It was just before 1:00 PM, but at this point, there was a 55-minute wait. While wandering around the nearby Edion store, the phone rang after 40 minutes and I headed to the cafe. They always call me earlier than the estimated time from the machine. Today, I ordered the Enjoy Course (1000). The cheesecake comes out in a 1/6 cut and is served warm. I debated between muscat and fig tart (780) but ended up choosing the fig tart. The total came to 1780 yen. It said it was more than one fig, but I think it was equivalent to two. It was very delicious. The coffee is a good deal because you get more than two cups with the pot service. Almost every other customer had the freshly baked fluffy cheesecake for two people. You can also order freshly baked cheesecake to go, which is convenient. This time, I got the moon-viewing mochi pie (260) and firewood pie (85) for offerings. Thank you for the meal.

In Osaka, you can enjoy the famous cheesecake from Uncle Rikuro that is freshly baked at the main store. You need to register at the panel and they will inform you by phone when your turn is approaching. You have to climb stairs to reach the seating area, so it might be a bit challenging for small children. This time, I ordered a 1/4 cut of the Cafe Cheesecake (390 yen), which is not the super fresh one that you can eat at the store, as they cut it after it has settled a bit. It is served with a drink, and I chose the Riku Blend Tea (800 yen) as iced tea. It was ready in about 5 minutes after ordering. The cheesecake is fluffy and moderately sweet, although it doesn't have the hot and fresh feel of the super fresh one. When you take it home, you lose the freshly baked sensation. The iced tea is a bit pricey but comes in a good quantity. Next time, I will definitely try the super fresh whole cake.

I visited a popular café for the first time. I arrived on a Sunday at 11:30 AM and there was already a 2-hour wait. However, they have a call system so I was able to pass the time in the neighborhood. The cheesecake was fluffy and warm, much better than taking it home. But the cheesecake was 1300 yen!? And the coffee was 800 yen. It's a bit pricey with a one-drink minimum. However, you can take the leftover cheesecake home. Well, I guess that's how it is!?

There is a popular cheesecake shop located about a 1-2 minute walk from Namba Station. There is always a long line to buy freshly baked cheesecake. I bought a whole cheesecake for 965 yen without waiting, as I planned to eat it at home. I don't see many people eating near the shop right after purchasing. Personally, I think if you're not going to eat it right away, there's no need to wait in line for the freshly baked cheesecake. Even if the cheesecake has been baked for about 2 hours, if you warm it up in the microwave, it becomes a very delicious, fluffy cheesecake.

It's disappointing that the cafe is closed at the start of the Obon holiday. I bought a cheesecake as a souvenir, and a 5-year-old girl kept saying it was delicious and asking for more! There was a line outside the store for freshly baked cheesecakes. I was told that if I waited for about 5 minutes, I could buy one that had been made 2 hours ago inside the store. It cost 965 yen and came with a paper bag. It's a great deal for a nice souvenir. The cheesecake had raisins scattered on the base, which added a nice accent.

When it comes to Osaka souvenirs, I always buy them for my family. It's located a short walk from Namba. There's always a line, but you can buy quickly. The classic cheesecake is soft and super delicious. They say to carry it in the fridge, but I think it's okay for about a day...

I stopped by the shop <Rikuro Ojisan's Store> that I had been curious about before checking into the hotel after eating okonomiyaki. When I arrived at the shop, it seemed like the cheesecakes had just finished baking, so I was able to purchase them smoothly! I checked into the hotel and stored them in the refrigerator, and enjoyed them when I returned home. When I saw them at the shop, they were jiggly when stamped ♡ The cheesecake, chilled thoroughly, was moist and had a significantly restrained sweetness. For those who like a gentle and rich cheese flavor, it might be a bit lacking. The light and fluffy souffle cheesecake can be eaten without getting tired of it (๑´ڡ`๑) If I have the chance, I would like to try them fresh from the oven. Thank you for the meal ☆

It's not a good idea to walk around Namba on a Saturday evening. It's as crowded as Kabukicho's Central Road. There are so many people bustling about. On the first floor of Takashimaya, groups of inbound tourists are taking a break to cool off. It's quite a challenge to reach the desired shop. Amidst all this, tonight there is a dinner gathering of three middle-aged men in Namba, so I bought some souvenirs. The line for freshly baked cakes is long for those who want them. I slipped into the store from the left side and purchased a cake that had been baked a little while ago. I usually also buy banana cake or pudding, but it's dangerous to carry them around in this heat, so I only bought cheesecake this time. I am confident that they will be appreciated in each household. The lack of texture might actually be a good thing. Even after raising the price twice, it's still cheap! If you chill it in the fridge at this time of year, it will taste even better. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Osaka, the famous "Rikuro Ojisan" cheesecake shop. I waited for an hour to try their freshly baked cheesecake. When I took a bite, the cake melted in my mouth. It was so delicious that I almost felt like I wouldn't gain any weight! Today, I ordered the following:
- 1/4 Cafe Cheesecake for 390 yen
- Apple Juice for 800 yen
- Riku Blend Tea for 800 yen
The drinks were a bit pricey compared to the cake. The waiting system, where they send you a message when your turn is near, was convenient. There are many other shops around to pass the time.
- Only one drink per person
- Nearby tourist attractions
- For dine-in customers, you can buy souvenirs without waiting in line.

I had the popular Rikuro Ojisan cheesecake for the first time in a long time. It used to cost 500 yen, so when I lived in Kansai, I used to eat it often. It has been about 20 years since then, and the cheesecake was even more delicious with more raisins than before. It brought back nostalgic flavors. I hope it will always be available.

I bought it at her request ♥️ You can choose between freshly baked or ones brought from the factory, so I chose the freshly baked one. It's soft and fluffy, with raisins inside. Some people might find it less rich compared to others on the market.

A classic souvenir! This time, I wanted to taste it freshly made, so I enjoyed it at the eat-in corner ☺️
<Menu>
- Freshly baked cheesecake
- Local brand tea
- Apple juice
The freshly baked cheesecake was hot and gooey, with a bouncy texture. It was delicious when I dug into it wildly and ate it enthusiastically! 😄 The acidity and sweetness of the raisins paired perfectly. It was a tasty cheesecake ☺️ Thank you for the meal!

The purpose of coming to Osaka is to have a party at Dotonbori tonight, so after leaving Minami Mina Ramen, head to Shinsaibashi from the nearby Midosuji subway line. It's been years since I've walked slowly to Namba. Oh, there is the main store of Rikuro, which is as famous as 551! I decided to go for Rikuro, which is easy to carry. There was a long line, so I went to the end of it. The sign at the store says that they sell whole cheesecakes. Carrying a whole cheesecake would be burdensome, so I opted for some small sweets. I've been into "Hai Cheese" lately, which is as delicious as a cheesecake. I saw madeleines for the first time. There are quite a few small sweets compared to the past. It seems convenient for eating on the go.

I visited during my business trip to Osaka. There was a bit of a line, but I didn't have to wait long to buy it. I ate it back at the hotel, and it was super fluffy and delicious. I definitely want to buy it again when I come back to Osaka.

I wanted to try the freshly baked cheesecake from Nori Kurou Ojisan, so I went to Riku Cafe. I already knew how delicious their cheesecake was, but I was surprised by their pudding. It looked so good that I decided to order it on a whim, and I ended up encountering the smoothest, most ideal pudding in Osaka. It was the best pudding I have ever had in my life. Namba One in the ranking of the most delicious puddings.

Whenever I go to Osaka, I always buy the cheesecake from Uncle Rikuro. It's a souffle cake, so it's easy to finish despite its size. I had it for the first time in a while, and it brought back nostalgic memories with its simple taste. Even in these times, a whole cheesecake for less than 1000 yen is a great deal. (I think it used to be 600 yen when I was little!)

This is a shop located about 150m southeast of Namba Station in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. I bought their most popular freshly baked cheesecake for 965 yen. The cheesecake is incredibly soft and bouncy, and when the staff packed it into a box, they wobbled the cake, creating a popular video. I came here to capture that wobbly video (laughs). However, when I arrived, it was close to closing time, so they only had pre-packaged cheesecakes for sale. The surface of the cheesecake has a cute imprint of Uncle Rikuro, it's a souffle type with raisins inside, which is quite rare. The fluffy texture was impressive, but the cheese flavor was a bit light, and the cheesecake had a light mouthfeel. The raisins at the bottom added a tangy and sweet touch, with a crunchy texture. After finishing eating, I noticed a number written on the back of the round paper base. This number seems to indicate which store and when the cheesecake was made by whom.

Rikuro Ojisan Namba is a famous cafe originating from Osaka. As the name suggests, their signature menu item is cheesecake, known for its fluffy texture and rich flavor. In addition to cheesecake, Rikuro Ojisan Namba offers a variety of cakes and sweets, all known for their deliciousness. There is also a cafe space on the second floor where you can leisurely enjoy sweets. The atmosphere is calm, making it a great place to relax while having tea or coffee. However, Rikuro Ojisan Namba is a very popular spot, so it can get crowded. Especially during peak hours, there may be long lines, so it's recommended to visit with some extra time. For those looking to enjoy delicious sweets in Namba, Rikuro Ojisan Namba is highly recommended. It's a longstanding cafe from Osaka where you can indulge in a variety of cakes and sweets.
