Located in Namba, this ice cream shop is one of the top 100 in Japan. It is very close to the hotel, so I decided to stop by and found it to be quite popular with a constant flow of customers coming in and out. This shop offers authentic Italian gelato, with a small seating area inside (only counter seats). The back seats are lined with mirrors for a picturesque setting, and heart-shaped sticks are available for customers to hold while taking photos with their ice cream, which looked cute! There are various flavors to choose from, making it hard to decide. One thing that stood out for me compared to other gelato shops I've been to is that each flavor in the showcase is decorated with the actual ingredients, making it easier to imagine the taste. Some flavors even come with a biscuit, although the pattern was unclear as my friend's had different types stuck in hers (mine did not). I ordered the Duo (cone) for ¥550, which I thought was a reasonable price. I chose the seasonal Salato Caramello and the classic Gianduia flavors. The Salato Caramello, made with salted caramel gelato using snow salt from Miyako Island and mixed with crushed almonds, had a unique taste with a hint of saltiness that was addictive. The Gianduia, a combination of chocolate and hazelnuts, was rich and delicious. Overall, it was a great experience! ★

Visited at around 14:10 on Saturday. When I arrived, there were 2 groups waiting, and as I lined up, there were about 4 groups behind me. I ordered the "Medio" which allows you to choose 3 flavors for ¥650. The flavors and prices are as follows: [Ordered Items] Medio (¥650) - Sicilian Pistachio (+¥100) - Celery Sorbet - Jewel Viola (+¥50) "Sicilian Pistachio" had a strong pistachio flavor with sweetness, and a rich taste, it was very delicious. "Celery Sorbet" had a refreshing grapefruit sweetness that complemented the celery flavor that came through the nose. "Jewel Viola" had a subtle grape flavor and a refreshing impression as it was gelato. The waffle was sweet and delicious. Personally, I thought the pistachio was the most delicious. The celery sorbet was a unique flavor that was refreshing and I was glad I ordered it. Since the flavors seem to change frequently depending on the season, I would like to visit again after some time!

Is it about 3 to 5 minutes from Namba Station on each line? I heard it was delicious, so it was my first visit! I was undecided on what to choose, but I went with the pistachio gelato that I love so much. Let's see, first bite! This is amazing!!! It's so rich and delicious that it made me smile!!! I visited around 12 o'clock on Saturday and was surprised to find no customers. I chose fig and pistachio flavors. There was a place inside the store where you could eat, so I enjoyed it there. I'm very happy to find a place like this! The taste was simply delicious!

I visited "Ruggeri", a restaurant located in Osaka city, which was selected as one of the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops in the 2023 Tabelog ranking. Congratulations! The restaurant opened in July 2011 and is located about a 3-minute walk from Namba Station, which is served by the Nankai Main Line and Nankai Koya Line. It is situated facing Shinkawa-suji after turning off the main road into a small alley. The fresh green awning is a distinctive feature, with the Italian flag fluttering outside. The interior of the restaurant has a stylish atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in Italy. There is also seating available for dining in. The menu I tried today included: - Medio Sicilia Pistachio Sorbet - Cioccolata Milkrosso - Pistachio Soft Cream I chose three different flavors. The ice cream had a smooth texture and allowed the flavors of the ingredients to come through clearly. The Milkrosso had a rich milk flavor but a refreshing aftertaste. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It's great that it's open until late, and it's less crowded at night so you can enjoy your meal. Of course, I got the triple scoop. There are many appealing seasonal flavors available. The celery sorbet was delicious, even better than the pistachio or mascarpone which have an additional charge.

On the final day of my Osaka gourmet tour, I stopped by a gelato shop near the transfer station to the airport. I arrived around noon, with only one other group of customers present. The shop had two counter seats with four seats each, as well as one bench outside. Due to the heat, I decided to enjoy my gelato inside at the counter seats. The interior of the shop was small and cozy, with cute decorations like alphabet blocks creating a photo spot. The display case showcased a variety of stylish gelato flavors that were both visually appealing and colorful. After much deliberation, I chose the Mojito Azzurra and Maïs Biondo (corn) duo in a cup, both premium gelato flavors for an additional ¥50. The solo cup was white, while the duo cup had a beautiful light green color with the shop's logo. The gelato came with a chocolate wafer sandwich. The Mojito Azzurra had a minty and refreshing gelato with lime and rum jelly, offering a refreshing taste and a high viscosity. The Maïs Biondo had corn kernels throughout, adding a nice texture and delicious sweetness. There were also popular flavors like pistachio, vibrant raspberry, and even a celery gelato with a piece of celery sticking out. If I had to nitpick, the sweetness was a bit overwhelming due to the chocolate wafer. Overall, both gelato flavors were delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited my favorite gelato shop, L'Uccellino, in Osaka and was delighted to try their special gelato made with hojicha tea that I presented to them. It was a limited edition flavor, so they had it prepared for me on the day of my visit. I had already decided on the flavors I wanted to try, so I ordered a double cup. The hojicha tea and fig flavor was the first one I tried, and it was incredibly aromatic and tasted just like drinking hojicha tea. The milk was not overpowering, allowing the hojicha flavor to shine through beautifully. It was a unique and delicious experience that left me and my friend excited and impressed. The second flavor I tried was the corn and coconut banana. This time, they used a special corn variety called Gold Rush, which was very aromatic and sweet. The balance between the corn and milk was perfect, creating a rich and flavorful gelato. The coconut banana flavor had a strong banana taste, with a hint of coconut milk. Overall, both flavors were delicious and I enjoyed every bite. I hope that hojicha tea becomes a regular flavor at the shop, as it was truly exceptional. Thank you to the chef for always creating such amazing gelato. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Ice Gelato Visited around 3:00 PM on a Saturday for the Top 100 Ice Gelato Shops tour. The shop was constantly busy with customers. - Duo (2 flavors) 600 yen (tax included) Mango Lirissimo (seasonal limited edition +50 yen) & Milk Rosso The rich mango and luxurious milk were delicious. - Duo (2 flavors) 600 yen (tax included) Pesca Maturo (seasonal limited edition +50 yen) & Limone Latte (seasonal limited edition) The sweet peach and refreshing lemon were delicious. It was a very hot day, so the refreshing lemon was my favorite flavor. Since the products change with the seasons, it's a shop I would like to visit again and again.

It is a highly rated restaurant selected as one of the "Top 100 Ice Cream & Gelato Shops 2023" by Tabelog. The shop opened in July 2011 and has a small seating area with a total of 8 seats. The kitchen is operated by 2 staff members, and there is 1 staff member for sales, showing efficient management typical of a popular shop. I ordered the "Sicilian Pistachio Solo 500 yen" this time. Here is the content and evaluation: Sicilian Pistachio: The most popular classic flavor made with the highest quality pistachios from Bronte, Sicily, served at -13°C to bring out the best taste. I chose a cup over a cone. It has a rich and creamy premium texture that is delightful, with a wafer as a great supporting role. The background music is Western music. The customer base consists of couples and individuals dining alone. The restaurant was about 90% full, with about 70% female customers. The Tabelog rating at the time of the visit was 3.56. It is a "handmade taste created with science and sensibility" at the Top 100 Ice Cream & Gelato Shop. Next time, I would like to try the "New York Cheesecake." Thank you for the meal!

Around 14:40, with about 80% of the customers in the store, I ordered Passion Yogurt, Piña Colada, and Guava Orange at Medio. I paid with a card, but couldn't find the receipt. It was probably around 650 yen. I secured the seat at the front counter and received the products in about 5 minutes. The Piña Colada was refreshing and delicious, while the Guava Orange was okay, although it had a bit of a peculiar taste. The Passion Yogurt didn't have any distinctive features, it was just average. Now, it's time to head back. After visiting all the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops in Osaka for 2023, I have given Gelateria Chiricodoro the highest rating (3.5 points).

From Takashimaya in Namba to the southwest, there is a new gelato shop called "Lugdunum". It is a small shop with 5 seats at the counter and 3 seats in the back. I had the Duo with Sicilian pistachio and Gianduja (550 yen + 100 yen premium for pistachio), total 650 yen. The gelato was served with a wafer, and I chose Gianduja which had a delicious nutty chocolate flavor. The pistachio flavor was also rich and tasty. I wish I had added raspberry to try three flavors. The shop was cool with a strong air conditioner, so we left soon after finishing our gelato. It was a hot and humid day after a typhoon. If you are interested in this shop, please save it based on this review.

Recently selected as one of the top 100 gelato shops, this shop has been gaining attention. On a Sunday evening, the shop was bustling with customers, which was unusual as it is normally not that crowded. The shop is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, so if it's too crowded, consider visiting at a different time. For ordering, you can choose between a cone or a cup. Options include Solo (1 flavor), Duo (2 flavors), and Medio (3 flavors), each with different prices. If you're indecisive, there is also an option to have three recommended flavors in a cup called "Popolare." I chose the classic "Raspberry" in a cup this time. The Solo size cost 400 yen (tax included). Please note that the fruit toppings in the showcase are not included in the serving, only the gelato itself. - Solo "Gelato (Raspberry)" (400 yen tax included) A refreshing and tangy raspberry flavor with a hint of fruitiness. The abundant use of ripe strawberries added a rich berry flavor. The simple chocolate wafer on the side was a nice touch, providing a gradual and overall satisfying taste. Overall, the gelato was decent, although it did not stand out as much as the luxurious display in the showcase. The atmosphere of the shop was pleasant, and the staff were efficient and friendly despite the busy crowd.
