After eating the Takoyaki Burger at Takoyaki Douraku Wanaka Senbayama Main Store, my son insisted on having their takoyaki, so we lined up at this popular shop near Namba Grand Kagetsu. It was our first time lining up at this shop, which always has a long queue. The takoyaki here is always freshly made and piping hot. The line moves quickly thanks to their efficient work. The takoyaki was delicious and hot, filled with plenty of octopus. It's no wonder this place is so popular. Many people were also getting takeout. This is what Osaka's famous takoyaki is all about. It was a fun experience. Thank you for the meal.

Next to Namba Grand Kagetsu, there is a takoyaki shop that is so popular that there is always a line before it even opens. I lined up for about 10 minutes before it opened and was able to buy some. I ordered the classic sauce flavor! The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, with a very large piece of octopus inside. It was the most delicious takoyaki I have ever had! I finished it in an instant.

When traveling in Osaka, one thing you definitely have to eat is takoyaki. I found a famous takoyaki shop and when I went there, there were only a few groups in line so I was able to buy it pretty quickly. It was nice to be able to eat inside at a table on a hot summer day. It was my first time eating authentic takoyaki. The inside was soft and gooey, and the batter had a great flavor. It was delicious and completely different from the takoyaki I usually eat. I want to go back to eat authentic takoyaki again.

When it comes to Osaka, you think of takoyaki. I went to Wanaka. There was a line of about 10 people in front of the store, but the wait was quick. I ordered with sauce and soy sauce. It was incredibly delicious. Soft inside, crispy outside!!!

Delicious takoyaki. The dough with a flavorful dashi is fluffy, and the octopus is firm and tasty. I now understand why the comedian from Yoshimoto on TV recommended salt - it adds a great flavor. However, I prefer the taste of sauce, so next time I want to try it with just sauce. Thank you for the meal!

Visited for the first time around 11:30am on Sunday. Located next to Namba Grand Kagetsu, there was not as much of a line as expected, waited about 3 minutes before ordering the following: - "Ooiri 8 pieces" to enjoy with 4 different sauces (700 yen) - "Wankodako" to dip in broth (700 yen) - Canned highball (250 yen) Takeout is also available, but decided to dine in (there are dozens of seats on the 1st and 2nd floors). The takoyaki had a crispy exterior and a creamy interior, the ideal combination. Personally, I found it delicious without any complaints.

There aren't many options, but the salt flavors at this place are very tasty and you could probably eat as many as 12 of them haha. They offer sets with various flavors so it's fun to try different ones. There might be a line, but the turnover is quick so the wait isn't too long. They also accept PayPay payments.

I love takoyaki, and it was so delicious! Perfect (*´꒳`*) The 4 variety set is the best! Among all the delicious ones, the green onion salt flavor was the most impressive! Salt is the best. It's worth waiting in line to eat! I envy those who live close by and can go there right away...

I have been living in Osaka for 7 years, but recently a friend from my hometown visited and we went to a famous takoyaki shop that I had never tried before. We lined up at the main store and got to eat there! It was the first day of the Bon holidays, so there was a line, but it moved quickly and we were able to enjoy our takoyaki in the eat-in area at the back of the shop. As mentioned in reviews, the takoyaki was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and it was delicious! I chose to have mine with sauce and salt (I personally really like the salt option), while my friend preferred the sauce. Both were delicious! I wish I had tried the plate with four different flavors afterwards, but oh well, maybe next time if the timing is right!

A one night, two day trip to Osaka. To fully enjoy the flour-based culture, takoyaki is a must. We visited Osaka Castle first thing in the morning, and by midday we were exhausted. I was feeling almost like I had heatstroke, so I had almost no appetite... I visited the takoyaki shop more as a companion to my daughter. There was a long line, but since we were only getting takoyaki, it moved quickly. I planned to just get one or two, so I ordered a plate of takoyaki (8 pieces). We managed to secure a space on the second floor where we could eat in. I had them put the standard sauce on top (they also had soy sauce, salt, and spicy to choose from), along with mayonnaise. My daughter, who had a big appetite, started eating eagerly. It was delicious, she said. Even though I didn't have much of an appetite, I decided to try it. It was indeed delicious. The inside was soft and fluffy, which must be the secret to its popularity. Despite not feeling very hungry, I felt like I could eat a decent amount, so I hurried to buy another plate. I added green onions on top for an extra ¥50. I was starting to feel a bit full, but my daughter and I finished both plates. She had no problem finishing hers. This shop always has a long line. There are other takoyaki shops in the area, but this one is by far the most popular. After eating, I could understand why. It was delicious takoyaki. Thank you for the meal.

The flavor was enhanced with ponzu sauce and added green onions. I think it was 700 yen for 8 pieces. There are various flavors to choose from, making it an exciting place to visit. What was great is that you can also eat the takoyaki you bought inside the store. They even have water available, so you can enjoy your meal leisurely.

Next to Namba Grand Kagetsu, there is a takoyaki shop called Muka~ka that hasn't changed since forever. Whenever I go to Osaka, I always make sure to eat their takoyaki before heading back. The outside is crispy while the inside is fluffy. I wanted to enjoy various flavors, so I got the Ooiri mix which includes four different types: bonito flakes, mentaiko mayo, salted green onion, and sauce. They all complement each other well. Eating them while they are still piping hot and saying "fuwafuwa" is the best. The shop has seating on the second floor, so I could sit down and enjoy my meal. Also, I bought Takosen, which is like a takoyaki-flavored senbei. It's a bit tricky to eat, but it goes well with the takoyaki.

The eating space is spacious up to the 2nd floor, which is great! There is no self-serve water on the 1st floor, but it is available on the 2nd floor. A set of 8 takoyaki balls costs 700 yen. The flavors reviewed are: Mentaiko mayo - average, lacking in mentaiko flavor; Salt and green onion - light flavor, not well-suited for takoyaki; Soy sauce bonito - light flavor, lacking in taste; Sauce - this one wins! The best tasting takoyaki is with sauce. If you want to savor the ingredients of takoyaki, salt or soy sauce might be good, but ultimately, those craving takoyaki are looking for sauce. The journey to find the most delicious takoyaki continues.

A shop in Namba! A place you can visit while you're at Namba Grand Kagetsu! My colleague from Osaka, the only one who told me about this takoyaki shop when I came from Tokyo! If you're unsure about the taste, go for this one with all varieties! Getting four flavors at one shop is cost-effective! In Tokyo, the main focus is on fried takoyaki, so this kind of takoyaki was surprisingly refreshing! The flavors are rich and delicious! I shared with my friends, each having one piece, but when I returned to Tokyo, I couldn't stop thinking about this taste and wanted to eat it again!

On the last day in Osaka, I went to Wakana in Namba and ordered a 200 yen set meal. The heat was unbearable and I ended up with heatstroke. Even inside the restaurant, I felt sick and couldn't even swallow water. My phone also overheated and the battery swelled up, causing the back cover to crack. Luckily, it didn't catch fire.

I visited this place after a long time and decided to stop by for some takoyaki during this stay. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly so I was able to buy them soon. I had a set with a draft beer for 500 yen and a variety of flavors for 700 yen at "Ooiri". I went upstairs and enjoyed the chilled beer and takoyaki. They were fluffy and creamy, and delicious as always.

Takeout or souvenir, can also be eaten in the store ☺️

- Takoyaki 8 pieces standard (special sauce from Wanaka) / topped with green onions
For 3 consecutive years, this restaurant has been featured in the Michelin guide. The carefully selected ingredients and the proud batter have just the right amount of dashi, crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, delicious! A super famous shop, if you're lost on where to get takoyaki in Osaka, start here. The store is crowded, so it's not a place to relax and eat slowly, but it's recommended for eating on the go! Thank you for the meal ♪. -------------------------------------------------- --------------- Thank you for reading the review until the end ✨ I hope this can be a starting point for everyone to find delicious food ☺️ Your likes and comments are encouraging! I will do my best to aim for reviews that are helpful in the future, so thank you for your support! -------------------------------------------------- -------------

I always eat takoyaki when I go back to Osaka, where I am from. Among them, my favorites are Wanaka and Ochan. When I have errands in the Namba area, I always eat Wanaka. It comes in a pack of 8, and my favorite is the half & half with sauce and salt. The broth is flavorful, so just salt is enough, but of course, I also want to enjoy the rich sauce. There is an eat-in space next to NGK, so if you want to eat slowly, please visit.

I went to Wanaka Sennichimae Honten for takoyaki. I can't remember how many years it has been since I last visited, but I went back after a long time. On the way to this shop, I saw the Dotonbori store, but I decided to pass it and head to the main store. There was a line of about 4-5 people in front of the shop, but since the turnover was fast, I decided to wait in line. I checked if it was possible to eat inside the shop, and there was only one group dining inside, so I lined up. When I went to the eat-in space next to the shop from the side road, it was surprisingly empty, with no usual crowds. It might have been because it was a weekend night dinner time. This time, I ordered takoyaki with a half-and-half topping of sauce and soy sauce, and I chose mayonnaise only from the three toppings available. (You can also have bonito flakes and seaweed if you prefer.) The takoyaki here is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a creamy interior, making it easy to burn yourself but very delicious. I tried to avoid burning myself as much as possible while enjoying it until the end. It's a very popular shop, so it's not often that you can avoid lining up and have a relaxed dining experience like this, but I would like to visit again when I'm nearby. Since it was night, there was no one waiting in front of NGK next door, and there were no characters or comedians, but the area was bustling with foreign tourists.

During a sauna trip, I happened to stop by Osaka and decided to try something Osaka-like, so I chose takoyaki! I visited a takoyaki shop near the Yoshimoto New Comedy theater and enjoyed some delicious Kansai-style takoyaki with a creamy center, topped with green onions and ponzu sauce. It was really tasty!
