ポテミミちゃん
Today's Poteranchi → It's been about 10 years since I last visited, and while the nostalgic taste brought back memories, I made a mistake in choosing my menu. No repeat for the mixed noodles ☔️, but a repeat for the dipping noodles ☀️. I used to regularly visit this dipping noodle shop back in my previous job. Over a decade ago, it was a pioneering establishment for seafood and pork bone broth, always crowded. I was curious about its current status, so I planned to order the dipping noodles, but I got too intrigued by the limited mixed noodles and ended up ordering them. You can choose three noodle portions for free, and I went with the medium portion. I arrived after 1 p.m., and it seems like it's still popular as the place was packed with some people waiting inside. It's nice to see that the shop I used to go to is still popular. The mixed noodles had a certain amount of soup in it, mixed with green onions, bean sprouts, cabbage, bamboo shoots, and probably garlic chips. When mixed together, various textures create a chemical reaction. The taste remains the same as the seafood and pork bone dipping noodles from 10 years ago, with a pleasant acidity. Unfortunately, it felt slightly weaker compared to the dipping noodles, meaning you could enjoy the flavor more directly with the dipping noodles. Since the taste wasn't unique to the mixed noodles but the same as the dipping noodles, it made me want to have the dipping noodles instead. I tried adding a raw egg yolk, but still, I found myself craving the dipping noodles. This shop offers a service of hot stones if the soup of the dipping noodles cools down, but I missed out on that experience, which I regret. Next time, I think I'll go for the dipping noodles after all. One thing different from 10 years ago is that the number of staff has significantly decreased. Today, there were only two people, and some parts of the service were not running smoothly. There were moments when customers had to wait even though there were empty seats because the preparations couldn't keep up. In the evening, I had the mala noodles (soupless tantanmen) at Tojo, and the last two photos are from Tojo. It's just not tantanmen, lol. Ikejiri Ohashi Warimichi limited mixed noodles (medium portion) for 1,000 yen. #Poteranchi #Today'sLunch #Today'sGourmet #Today'sMeal #Today'sLunch #WantToConnectWithFoodLovers #GourmetInstagram #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #WantToConnectWithFoodLovers #WantToConnectWithLunchLovers #FoodPorn #Foodstagram #TabeSta #TabeStagram #TokyoLunch #TokyoGourmet #TokyoMeal #TokyoFood #IkejiriOhashiGourmet #IkejiriOhashiLunch #Today'sRamen #TokyoRamen #IkejiriOhashiRamen #RamenLover #WantToConnectWithRamenLovers #RamenLover #LoveRamen #MixedNoodles #Warimichi #Tojo
