I visited a sushi restaurant on a whim after staying nearby. I arrived around 8 pm and luckily got a seat at the counter after the previous customers left. The location was just a regular building along Sakai-suji, but the fresh curtain and bright white counter stood out. I decided to try the recommended 8,000 yen course. The meal started with a vinegar dish of red sea cucumber, followed by sweet simmered octopus with Japanese mustard. The monkfish liver came after a simmered fish head, beautifully presented like a Christmas tree. The highlight was the nigiri sushi, with a rich flavor uncommon in Osaka, more like traditional Edo-style sushi. The chef wanted me to enjoy the flavors he was satisfied with. I also enjoyed carefully selected sake recommended by the chef. I ended up drinking too much. When I asked about the chef's dedication despite his young age, he mentioned that he had trained in New York until two years ago. I had a great experience enjoying the chef's dedicated sushi with innovative ideas. This restaurant is amazing!

We chose this restaurant for a work celebration and toast with "akazu" (red vinegar). The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and the owner seemed like a craftsman creating a new era after returning from NY, so we made a reservation. The restaurant was cozy with a counter and tables, almost fully booked with reservations. There were also foreign customers, perhaps due to the owner's return from NY. The omakase course started with a dish similar to oden as an appetizer. Sashimi, grilled fish, tempura... delicious fish from various regions. Before the sushi, we were treated to many enjoyable dishes. The owner was very friendly and shared various things with us, including his aspirations and goals, which was fun. Some people may not want much communication, but we enjoyed it. The sushi with red vinegar was delicious, with a sweet and melty medium fatty tuna. The sushi was mostly seasoned, so we didn't need to dip it in soy sauce. Overall, the sushi was tasty, but some pieces had too much seasoning, overpowering the flavor of the fish. Kansai has a culture of strong flavors, so I understand, but I thought a bit less seasoning would be better. It's all part of the experience. I hope they continue to evolve. The owner seemed like a craftsman striving to do their best, and we had a delicious sushi and a great time. Thank you for the meal! ★

We added a lot to the 8,800 yen course and ended up spending over 30,000 yen for two people. It was a calming restaurant. The autumn salmon appetizer, bonito and fig, snow crab and sea urchin, octopus tempura, grilled saury, matsutake mushroom sushi roll, flounder sushi, seared fatty tuna, sweet saury, sea urchin, and squid were all delicious. The addition of marinated tuna was rich and tasty. The eel was good, but the seaweed was a bit overpowering. The conger eel was tasty. Uni and fatty tuna dog.

Last time we had the lunch course, so this time we visited for dinner. The counter was full, with only us and foreign customers. It's very popular. The evening course had a lot of appetizers, which is great for drinkers. The fried abalone was interesting. The sushi was, of course, delicious. The sea urchin was rich and irresistible. The course included sushi plus conger eel and tiger prawn. We also had plenty of sake. They were all sweet and to my liking. Everything was very delicious.

It was really delicious! We didn't have a reservation for lunch, but luckily there was an open table. The owner was very kind, and I definitely want to go back! I'm glad I found a good sushi restaurant in Osaka. I even had two bottles of beer in the afternoon. I will visit again!

I asked my colleagues at work to find a sushi restaurant near Honcho. First of all, I want to say that it was an amazing experience. The interior of the restaurant was clean and stylish. The owner was friendly and easy to talk to, with great communication skills. And the food, needless to say, was top-notch. We had a course in the 8000 yen range this time, and the quality was so good that I thought, "Is this really the price?" I have included photos of the dishes, but the presentation was stylish and the taste was excellent! I will definitely come back as a repeat customer. Thank you for the wonderful memories!! ^ ^

I was surprised by the size of the tables and the large number of staff in the restaurant. I ordered a course meal and everything from the appetizers to the sushi was delicious. I decided to order an extra serving of fatty tuna, which was already delicious with daikon radish, but adding sea urchin on top felt a bit excessive and disappointing.

There is a restaurant located a few minutes north of Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station. We made a reservation and visited with two people. There are 10 seats at the L-shaped counter and a few table seats. We sat at the counter and ordered beer. The first dish was mozuku seaweed and myoga. Then we had sashimi, including sweet shrimp, bonito, and sea bream. The bonito had a delicious umami flavor. Next, we were served snow crab and sea urchin, both of which were delicious. This was followed by simmered pike conger eel and fried trout, which were then turned into nigiri sushi. The scallop nigiri was outstanding. The final nigiri was yellowtail, which was also delicious with its fatty texture. We added our favorite dishes, ark shell and eel. We were full and satisfied. It was a high-quality and delicious sushi experience with great value for money.

I had the lunch course. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. It may not be as fancy as high-end restaurants, but in terms of cost performance, it's amazing. Everything was delicious. The seared dish was especially amazing. Lastly, the seared Nodoguro with Uni that I added at the end was a big hit. I felt happy.

I wanted to eat freshly made sushi, so I made a reservation for lunch and went there. I chose the 4500 yen course at the counter seat. The course included appetizer of mozuku vinegar and jun-sai, and 11 pieces of sushi - flounder, tuna, swordfish, bonito, scallop, green onion, fatty tuna, raw whitebait, eel, barracuda, and tekka maki. I also ordered extra dishes of rolled omelette, steamed egg custard, soup, and an additional dish of fatty tuna. The quality was excellent for the price, with fresh sushi, perfectly warm rice, and well-balanced temperatures of the ingredients. I was happy to see a variety of my favorite fish like flounder. I also tried sushi with green onion for the first time. It's hard to choose the best sushi from the course, but I particularly enjoyed the barracuda, swordfish, and fatty tuna. I love seared sushi. The rolled omelette, steamed egg custard, and soup had a rich broth that I liked. The additional fatty tuna I ordered was incredibly delicious. The seasonal fish that I enjoyed makes me want to visit again in a different season. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great.

The sushi toppings were definitely delicious. Before that, there were many Western-style dishes, but personally, I wanted to eat more deeply flavored Japanese cuisine. The simple grilled fish was very tasty, so I lean towards this type of dish. However, considering the large number of female customers, perhaps more elaborate dishes are needed for marketing purposes. The sushi toppings were definitely delicious. When I ordered ikura, a stylish dish that looked like a cocktail was served. Once again, I personally wanted to eat sushi, so there was a slight mismatch with my personal preference. The chef explained the toppings, while some customers were more focused on taking photos. I believe that listening to the chef's explanation enhances the appreciation for the sushi, but if the focus is on taking photos, it's understandable. However, seeing the slightly lonely expression on the chef's face made me feel a bit sad. The toppings were great, and at the end of the course, a menu was provided where you could order your favorite toppings or special items. In a time where many restaurants rush customers out after the course, being able to order additional items was a nice touch. Considering the quality of the food for under 10,000 yen, I believe the cost performance is quite good for a sushi restaurant. The photos are of the sushi I took after listening to the chef's explanation.笑

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The chef was attentive to every detail at the counter, which I appreciated. The taste (freshness) of the fish itself may have been lacking a bit. The chef suggested various intricate flavors, and their skills were wonderful, but I felt it was a bit wasteful. The sushi with green onions was delicious.

Sushi Shinnosuke Yujiro's former location was bought out? The head chef is very friendly and has a great atmosphere ☺️ If you prefer a solemn vibe, it may not be for you, but it's perfect for when you want to enjoy delicious sushi in a lively setting. The taste is excellent! Great value for the price!!!!

There is nothing to say about the taste, atmosphere, and cost performance. They welcome you with a warm atmosphere, so you can truly enjoy yourself, have a good time, and get drunk deliciously. I always use this place for birthdays, anniversaries, or when something good happens. As others have mentioned, I feel bad for the restaurant staff, but I don't want this place to become too popular.笑

It is a small and cozy restaurant located in a bustling street. The interior has counters and tables. I had the lunch course for 6000 yen and enjoyed various small dishes and sushi. The convenient location makes it easy to visit.

It was delicious!! I was relieved to be able to get a reservation on the day of. It was my first visit since the name of the restaurant changed! I wonder if the different sizes of the shari for each type of sushi are intentional? I had never noticed it before, but it caught my attention this time. The restaurant was fully booked and seemed busy, so I couldn't really talk to anyone! Kasugodai (young sea bream), squid, fatty tuna, lean tuna, firefly squid, and rice bowl with sea urchin were served. Also, there was hand-delivered horse mackerel from Mie Prefecture, fatty tuna hand roll, eel hand roll, additional shrimp and blackthroat seaperch with sea urchin on top special, scallop from Hokkaido.

Let's go enjoy delicious sushi with our colleagues at a restaurant I always passed by on my commute! It is located a few dozen meters north of Sakaisuji Hommachi Station Exit 17. You can see inside the restaurant through the large glass windows along the road, with clean and bright white wooden counter seats and table seats. We had the most popular course, "Mutsuki's Chef's Choice Course." It included: - Appetizer: Vinegared miso-dressed fish - Seasonal appetizer: Grilled baby cabbage - Small dish: Steamed abalone and rapeseed flower jelly - Sashimi and bonito tataki with homemade seaweed soy sauce - Grilled dish: Cutlassfish with karasumi - Nigiri sushi (8 pieces): Hokkaido Yorozu's simmered ankimo, sweet snapper, scallop, fatty tuna, sea urchin, horse mackerel, golden eye snapper, marinated amberjack, additional: gizzard shad - Steamed egg custard with shirako - Soup: Miso soup with sea lettuce - Dessert: Homemade cheesecake The sushi is made right in front of you, and the ankimo, sea urchin, and gizzard shad were particularly luxurious when handed to us by the chef. They melted in my mouth. Everything was delicious, and the sake went down smoothly. I definitely want to visit again.

This time, I added various sushi dishes to a course that cost 6600 yen, making it around 10000 yen per person. The restaurant was crowded with customers, but the dishes came out at the right timing. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. An energetic atmosphere in the restaurant is always good. It was not too noisy and had a nice vibe. The staff and chefs provided excellent service, making the dining experience enjoyable. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I visited after a long time. I ordered the omakase course for 8800 yen (tax included), which included a variety of dishes (6 items) in addition to sushi, and I really enjoyed it. The sashimi and sushi were very fresh! It was nice that you could order additional items individually after the course. I ordered about 4-5 additional items including rolls, and even then the price was reasonable, considering the quality of the sea urchin and tuna. I think the cost performance is high.

First visit. I made a reservation for the 8800 yen course as it was Christmas. Just a short walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station. Every dish in the course was delicious and I left feeling full. I was planning to order more, but I was unexpectedly too full. The non-sushi dishes were also very tasty. The taste was great and the service was excellent, making it a wonderful dinner. The total cost was over 10,000 yen when including drinks. I recommend making a reservation for a special occasion. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Third visit. I made a reservation for a course meal to celebrate my friend's birthday. The chef is young and has a great personality. I really like this place. We enjoyed delicious sushi on this day, and my friend was very happy. It was worth taking them here. I sometimes feel nervous at sushi counters, but here, I felt relaxed and could enjoy high-quality sushi. I plan to visit again in the future. Thank you very much.

I had always been curious about it series ✨ I went to the sushi restaurant "Sushi Shinnosuke" which focuses on rice and sake ☺︎ This time, I tried the lunch course ⏩ Lunch course ¥4,500 includes appetizer, nigiri sushi, chawanmushi, and soup. The appetizer was simmered abalone, which I really liked. The nigiri sushi consisted of 12 pieces in total! The rice and vinegar were just to my liking, although I'm not exactly sure what it was about them that I liked. The chawanmushi and miso soup with yuba had a perfect flavor. They were also delicious. Writing about this makes me want to eat it again... haha.
