Located just a 3-minute walk west from Honmachi station on Honmachi Street, it's also close to Utsubo Park. The order this time was the Homemade Bacon Cheeseburger for ¥1,500. There's also a regular Bacon Cheeseburger for ¥1,400, but for just 100 yen more, it's worth trying the homemade bacon. And it was the right choice. The thick, juicy homemade bacon was a knockout. The beef patty also had a strong presence, cooked to a slightly rare texture with a coarse grind. The BBQ sauce and mayonnaise complemented it well. The burger also included lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and pickles, with a generous amount of vegetables. The tangy pickles added a nice touch. The naturally leavened buns had a fluffy texture and a fragrant aroma. Overall, it was a well-balanced burger with each component - meat, vegetables, and buns - equally delicious. During lunchtime, the set includes potatoes, salad, and soup (drink for an additional charge), which could easily fill you up. The soup had a flavorful taste, possibly with some scraps of patty. It had an Italian-style appearance, which was impressive. The clam chowder had finely diced vegetables and clams. It was rich and creamy, perfect for warming up. The burger had a dense beef patty, melted cheddar, thinly sliced avocado, and lettuce. The thick-cut onions stood out more than the tomato slices. The toasted buns added a nice charred, fresh, and smoky flavor. The salad had a tangy onion dressing, which was refreshing. I wanted more of the skin-on potatoes, I wanted to eat double the amount. The live cooking behind the counter with less than 10 seats was also great to watch. I'm interested in trying the loco moco, gumbo, and rice plates, as well as the mushroom burger. I ordered the "Double Cheese burger/1,600 yen," the highest-priced item on the regular menu. If you want to enjoy a hearty burger, this is the classic choice. The owner brought the burger to me. He gave me some advice, such as "you should use the wrapping paper" and "be careful because the meat juice is hot." As I was taking photos, the meat juice dripped from the patty, which really whetted my appetite. After finishing the salad, I held the burger with the wrapping paper and took a big bite. Oh, the meatiness is quite something~ The juicy 110g patty made of 100% beef is really voluminous. The cheese is probably cheddar? But it's not too heavy, and with the golden trio of onion, tomato, and lettuce, you can enjoy a refreshing taste as well. The buns are also nicely grilled, providing a good texture. The satisfaction was overwhelming from start to finish. I smiled happily as I finished it all by myself.
