Visited around 12:30 on a weekday. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from Todoroki University Station. There seems to be a parking lot nearby. There are two outdoor terrace seats. The interior of the shop is somewhat small but has a bright European atmosphere like a French pastry shop. The cakes all look artistic and delicious. There are a few types available, including cream puffs. They also offer a variety of baked goods, chocolates, and ice cream. The staff is friendly and provides good customer service. Payment with electronic money is accepted. ★ Tart Cafe 670 yen (excluding tax) - Recommended as it was the last one left, indicating its popularity. - Must be eaten within 30 minutes of purchase. - The espresso mousse is bittersweet and rich, with a smooth texture and a wonderful tea aroma. It has a refreshing sweetness. - The bottom is a caramel tart with a perfect balance of salted caramel and crunchy walnuts, creating a delicious paste. - A delightful treat that combines both refreshing and rich flavors. ★ Mille-feuille 630 yen (excluding tax) - Crispy texture. The firm custard cream has a subtle sweetness that harmonizes well with the sweet and sour strawberries. - The strawberry sauce tightens the overall balance, making it a light and enjoyable dessert. ★ Chocolate Cream 670 yen (excluding tax) - A chocolate cake with a layer of ganache with nuts on the bottom. - Incredibly rich and irresistible for chocolate lovers. - The ganache is rich with a hint of nuttiness and the freshness of orange? The tart was outstanding, and it made me want to try other tart cakes. I would like to visit again.

Finally had a chance to go buy some pastries! I think it was around 2pm, and there were no customers when I arrived. However, more customers started coming in after me. I couldn't decide what to get, but ended up choosing a cream puff, pudding, tiramisu, and financier! Everything I tried was delicious. The cream puff had a moist crust and tasty custard. The tiramisu with a hint of liquor was amazing! However, personally, I was disappointed with the silver container it came in... When you eat with a metal spoon, it leaves a metallic taste if it touches the aluminum... I will become a repeat customer if they change the container.

The distance from Todai-Daigaku Station and Gakugei-Daigaku Station was quite far. It was a hot day, so I felt like I walked for about 30 minutes. The shop is located next to the Salesian Society, with a deep blue entrance entwined with ivy. It looked like a sweets shop in the middle of a forest, with white tables and chairs. The chic and stylish exterior was very appealing. Inside, there were cakes lined up, and on the central table, there were baked goods and jams. The cakes were cute and very much to my liking in terms of color and shape. However, because it was hot and they might melt, I decided to go for the baked goods. The cream puff looked a bit unusual, so I chose that. They put it in a box for me, which made me feel relieved as I had experienced getting pastries crushed in a paper bag from another shop before. Thanks to the kind and friendly staff, I had a great shopping experience. The unique choux pastry was really delicious, with a slightly different texture compared to a popover. The cream inside was subtly sweet, with an adult-like deliciousness. I was able to encounter an amazing cream puff. It was worth going there despite the distance. Cream puffs are truly delicious. Next time, I plan to take a bus to get there. This shop was selected as one of the Top 100 Sweets Shops in 2023.

Junujita is a shop opened in 2011 in Hekimandani Valley, run by Chef Jun Ujita. Right nearby is the Salesio Association. Chef Ujita is known for laying the foundation for patisseries in the highly competitive sweets district of Urawa, having worked at renowned establishments such as Royal Pines and other famous shops, with a solid track record and award-winning skills. Chef Ujita's career: 1997: Ginza's "Piesmonte" 1999: Hayama's "Sanlui Island" 2003: Urawa's "Royal Pines Hotel" 2004: France's "Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris" 2005: Tokyo's "Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris" 2005: Awarded in the chocolate category at the Gastro-Mic Alpajon Concours 2006: Chef Patissier at Kamakura's "Patisserie Yukinoshita" 2011: Established as the owner patissier of "Patisserie Junujita" - Tart Cafe 724 yen: A specialty from "Yukinoshita" in Kamakura. The espresso-flavored glaze on the surface is beautiful. The extremely delicate mousse is explained to be best consumed within 30 minutes. The bitterness of the espresso mousse and espresso genoise (sponge) disappear smoothly from the mouth, leaving only a slight aftertaste of bitterness. Indeed, due to temperature changes from carrying it around, this delicate mousse tart would crumble and lose its flavor. The unexpected texture of walnuts, almonds, and crispy tart (puff pastry) is also interesting. The caramel sea salt sauce adds a tightening saltiness, elevating the overall taste to an adult level. - Chiboust Cassis 680 yen: The refreshing acidity of the mousse (creme chiboust cassis) stands out. The addition of creme diplomat (custard & whipped cream) inside adds richness, while the crispy caramelized surface and the firm almond tart base (with rum-soaked raisins) provide a nutty aroma and depth of flavor. Baked goods and tarts are more delicious than any other shop, truly showcasing the essence of Junujita. Thank you for the feast!

In the midst of the scorching heat, I walked from Gakugeidaigaku Station to the shop. Unable to take it home, I enjoyed the cakes on the terrace. I chose the Cassis Chiboust, Mille-feuille with Raspberry, and ordered iced tea. The Cassis Chiboust had a beautiful color and just the right amount of sweetness! The Mille-feuille was a bit tricky to eat, but I carefully savored the crispy pastry, cream, and raspberry accents, which were also delicious. If I have the chance, I would like to go again.

I visited in the early afternoon on a holiday. I went to buy a cake for my guests. The shop is located in a quiet residential area, so I made sure not to park on the street as the sign instructed. I purchased a choux cream tart and a chocolate cream cake. I asked the staff for recommendations and chose the popular items. The tart cafe was especially delicious.

When I tried UJITA's petit gateau before, I remember having that kind of impression. It feels like discovering a new taste that you didn't know existed when you eat it together with someone who knows it. The first one I tried was the Shibust Cassis (680 yen), and it felt like that... I already knew what cassis, almond, and orange tasted like, so when I tried them individually, it was like "Oh yeah, that's how it tastes." But when they were combined, it was like, "Huh? Was it like this?" It felt good, but I didn't remember it being like this. I think I had a similar impression with other petit gateaus from other patisseries, but I feel this impact more strongly with JUN UJITA's petit gateau. The choux cream has cream underneath it. The cream is whitish but has a sticky, weighty feel to it. There are hardly any vanilla beans. I liked the choux pastry with just the right thickness, not too light. The Shibust Cassis has cassis cream on almond tart dough, with orange jam and anise blended in. Even though you know the individual flavors, when they come together, they create a mysterious deliciousness that you didn't know existed. The tart crust is almond-flavored, giving a pleasant taste. The raspberry confit has a noticeable acidity, but it balances well with the sweetness of the almond.

I visited in the afternoon on a holiday. The dull blue exterior with ivy entwined and the chic interior are both lovely. I purchased the following: ● Chou Parisien ¥360 - The choux pastry is well-baked with a rich custard cream filling. It's delicious! ● Mango & Vanilla Ice Cream ¥950 - The ice cream might be limited to the summer season? (It was not available when I visited in winter.) The vanilla is great, and the mango is rich and flavorful. The shop specializes in classic sweets made with care, not following trends but still sophisticated. In addition to fresh sweets, they also offer baked goods, jams, and ice cream, all of which are delicious. Personally, I recommend the Pate de Fruits, which has a crispy sugar coating and a unique flavor twist. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this Western confectionery shop alone during my day off. Located in a quiet residential area along the Hifumi Sakura Street, about a 20-minute walk from both Tsurumi University Station and Gakugeidaigaku Station, this shop is run by Chef Ujita, who honed his skills at Sadaharu Aoki Paris. With a variety of simple yet irresistible sweets, this shop has captivated not only the residents of Hifumidani but also sweets enthusiasts nationwide. Winner of the Sweets Top 100 award from 2017 to 2022. I decided to reserve a cake from this dream shop for my wedding anniversary (and my birthday). On a certain Friday around 2:30 pm, I visited the shop. The chic exterior with a navy blue color scheme caught my eye. Upon entering through the brown wooden framed door, I was greeted by a showcase of chocolates in the center, a counter displaying baked goods and jams to the right, and a display of gorgeous cakes to the left. At this time, the most popular Tart Cafe and many other varieties were still available. Suppressing my desire to try them all, I picked up the Charlotte Bavarois that I had reserved. Upon returning home, I indulged in it. This Charlotte Bavarois was wrapped in a generous amount of bavarois with a sponge cake base, topped with strawberries, grapes, oranges, yellow peaches, blueberries, and plums, creating a colorful and festive treat. The bavarois had a subtle hint of vanilla bean fragrance and was rich and creamy yet not too sweet. Thanks to this delightful treat, our wedding anniversary (and my birthday) spent with my family was a memorable and joyful occasion. I am truly grateful to the shop (*´꒳`*) Thank you for the wonderful meal. I will definitely come back.

From Center Minami Station, I went to Todai Daigaku Station via Hiyoshi Station, and arrived in about 15 minutes. Which cake should I choose? I decided on the Tart Cafe with a 30-minute expiration date. Then, I ended up buying the Casino cake. I enjoyed it at the waiting room of the Shibuya Mark City bus stop. The Casino cake had an almond base with a refreshing strawberry sauce. The Tart Cafe had a nice combination of coffee mousse, salted caramel, walnuts, and tart texture. However, it felt a bit watery, maybe because some time had passed. It would be great if there was an eat-in space, as it's difficult to take it home if you don't live nearby. I visited four sweets shops after a long time, but I plan to visit them while considering my health in the future. I am close to reaching 70 out of the 100 top sweets shops in Tokyo. With the start of the 8-ride ticket season, I want to clear that first. I also want to achieve visiting 300 places in Tokyo by the end of the year. And so, I left Tokyo behind.

Located in a quiet residential area about a 10-minute walk from Todoroki Daigaku Station, this shop opened in 2011 and has maintained a modern appearance both outside and inside. The interior, with its feminine color scheme and wooden accents, creates a soothing atmosphere. Upon entering, you'll be overwhelmed by the variety of cakes and baked goods available. If you're a first-time visitor, it's recommended to ask the staff for their recommendations. Today, I purchased three cakes and an assortment of baked goods: "Tarte au café caramel" for ¥670 (including tax), a coffee mousse tart with salted caramel and walnut that is a standout favorite; "Mille-feuille framboise" for ¥650 (including tax), a crispy feuilletage with rich custard and raspberries; "Chou parisien" for ¥360 (including tax), a sturdy choux pastry filled with rich custard cream; and "Sable sale" for ¥3,350 (including tax), a set of five sweet and savory sablés including tomato, sesame, Parmesan, Edam, and Provençal herbs, perfect for pairing with drinks. Each item showcases the pastry chef's expertise and deliciousness. Among the ones I tried today, the Tarte au café is definitely a must-buy for first-time visitors. Bon appétit!

On this day, I wandered around Ookayama, Tama Daigaku, and Gakugeidaigaku areas. Along the way, I visited this patisserie at the famous Hyakumeiten in Shibuya, which I had been wanting to visit for a while. Although I used to live in Gakugeidaigaku many years ago, the area south of Meguro Street is completely unexplored for me. The store, located across from the Salesian Church, has a small and chic appearance that resembles a corner in Paris. When I entered the store before 4 p.m., there were about ten cakes in the showcase. I decided to try the "Chou Parisienne" for 389 yen (tax included), which had a dark appearance on the outside, and the "France Snack" for 518 yen (same) with a tagline "Vanilla, Vergeoise Francaise". Since it was my first time, I chose something affordable to start with. The "Chou Parisienne" had a crispy outer shell and a rich custard inside, making it quite delicious. The "France Snack" was a tart filled with custard cream and baked, with Vergeoise being a raw sugar made from beets. Despite having similar ingredients to the Chou Parisienne, the quality of sweetness was surprisingly different. This one had a gentle and refreshing sweetness, fitting the description of a simple and delicious "snack". I was impressed and look forward to trying other cakes as well. The atmosphere in this area is nice, so I definitely want to visit again.

Indoor seating is not available, only outdoor tables (2 seats). You can order coffee. At Tart Cafe, their specialty is a fluffy coffee mousse on a crispy tart crust with caramel-coated walnuts for a perfect touch of flavor and texture. It's really well done. At Blancmange Cafe, you can enjoy a smooth and creamy blancmange with a light and airy texture. While it doesn't taste like coffee, it has a subtle aroma extracted from coffee. The creamy blancmange has a hint of amaretto flavor, and both the coffee and amaretto aromas are delicately and elegantly infused.

Sweets Top 100 TOKYO 58/100 A lovely mansion located 15 minutes walk from Tsurumi Station, with a classic exterior covered in ivy. The high-quality atmosphere gives a sense of anticipation. Inside the dimly lit store, cakes are elegantly displayed. On a weekday evening, there are 9 types of cakes available, mostly in shades of brown. Gâteau Marjolaine @681 A description of a cake made with meringue, buttercream, praline, cream, and ganache. A rich cake with buttercream, cream, and meringue. Dig The Sow @497 A simple pastry that crumbles easily with a fork, baked to perfection. A rustic treat that showcases the quality of the ingredients. Suitable for all ages, it makes a perfect gift. This is a bakery specializing in baked goods with a shelf life of 10 days. Thank you for the delicious treats.

I found out about this place selling ice cream on Instagram and decided to visit. Unfortunately, some flavors like mint chocolate were sold out and they mentioned it takes a few days to restock. I ended up choosing the strawberry flavor, fraise, from the available options. I usually prefer cups but since it's a patisserie ice cream, I went for a cone and it was the right choice. One scoop costs 600 yen, which is not cheap, but it was more than enough. The ice cream was incredibly rich and the strawberry flavor was luxurious with plenty of strawberries. I definitely want to try the mint chocolate next time! There are tables and chairs outside the shop, so it's nice to sit down and enjoy the ice cream leisurely.

I lined up at a ramen shop but couldn't order due to the long line, so I walked to JUN UJITA's place. I bought Shanti and Creme Chocolat. Shanti had strawberries in it, and the showcase mentioned "sandwiched with seasonal fruits," so it might change with the seasons. The cream was not too sweet, which I liked. The sponge had a firm texture, which is rare these days. Creme Chocolat had a two-layered brownie-like base with creamy chocolate cream. However, both desserts left a slightly unsatisfactory impression despite receiving high ratings. I saw 8 cakes from here on Umakura, but the 2 I bought were not included, so I may have made the wrong choice. Shanti 713 yen, Creme Chocolat 724 yen.

I stopped by during a walk in Himonya. The shop is located between Todai University and Gakugei University, near Nishi-Koyama and Senzoku. It's in the Himonya area, a little further from the Aeon Style store. The street is not very busy, so I walked while looking at the map. There are stylish shops quietly standing there. I visited the shop looking for baked sweets to give to a friend, and inside the shop, there were many cakes. So, I also checked out the beautiful cakes displayed in the case. The baked sweets were lined up on the wall side, and I found the Galette Bretonne I was looking for. It was simple packaging and palm-sized. I bought it and gave it to my friend as a gift. They were very happy and I was glad.

I chose baked goods that are easy to take out, and also bought an eclair to go with it. Both had a strong flavor that suited the Japanese palate, like a gateau. The baked goods in the picture had a sweet and sour jam in between, which I liked. The eclair had a creamy custard filling with chocolate on top. The choux pastry was firm and easy to eat!

On Valentine's Day, I bought a chocolate set at Takashimaya and was so impressed by the deliciousness that I visited the store. I ended up buying cakes, tablets, and baked goods, and before I knew it, the total was over 8000 yen. The cakes were overall small and had a sophisticated, not too sweet taste. I forgot the name, but there was a tart-like egg tart with a salty tart crust and a slightly rough egg filling that was delicious. The tablets were the highlight. I bought vanilla and caramel, but the vanilla tablet had a wonderful vanilla aroma, chocolate fruityness, acidity, and was incredibly delicious! The slight crunchiness was also nice. I am very satisfied with this. Although the location is not convenient, I want to go back to buy the tablets again.

I arrived around 10:30 on a sunny Thursday morning. There was one customer ahead of me. Everything looked delicious, making it hard to choose, but I ended up getting the choux cream for 360 yen and the fromage qui for 370 yen. I ate them in a nearby park, and the choux cream, despite being small, had a strong and delicious taste! The fromage qui was also elegant and tasty. Truly amazing, as expected from Himenyan! The atmosphere was nice, the place was stylish, and the food was delicious with no complaints! Thank you for the meal - I will definitely visit again!

The custard with a strong rum flavor exudes a luxurious adult taste that would go well with alcohol. Despite looking hard, the crust is surprisingly soft. Although it may seem a bit small, it is quite filling. I visited in the late afternoon on a holiday and they were almost sold out. Next time, I would like to try their cakes and cookies too.
