Even though I usually prefer darker flavors, there seems to be some inner reason why I chose not to go for "dark" or "bitter." The coffee brewed with the pour-over has a slightly thick consistency and quietly flows out at a leisurely pace. The orange light of the setting sun from the southern river gently shines through the window. There are three other customers besides me, but no one makes a sound, just sitting there savoring their own time, reading or contemplating. All the customers seem wonderful and like companions. This place feels like a quiet little box of a shop. While thinking about that, I drink the coffee with a sweet, deep flavor base of Colombia wrapped in a hint of acidity, creating a lightly intense flavor. Delicious. "Coffee on sunny days, coffee on rainy days." I thought about coming on a rainy day next time. Today was cloudy. The menu advised us to wait quietly and not disturb others who were enjoying their coffee, creating a space that is not suitable for those who don't like coffee but perfect for coffee lovers. I ordered the special selection coffee and the blend of the month, but with no one around, the owner kindly shared information about the beans and recommended the Yemen medium roast, which I ended up choosing. The first sip of the special selection coffee was a bit challenging, but as I slowly drank it, the temperature and aroma grew on me, making me feel like I was drinking red wine. My partner and I enjoyed discussing and savoring the coffee, creating a blissful experience. The shop offers a unique coffee experience with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans (pre-roasted coffee bean scent??), not just following the trend of light roasts or roasting coffee, but truly cherishing and providing a place to enjoy real coffee.
