A popular local udon restaurant known for its delicious tempura made with rice flour. The noodles are firm with a smooth texture. Located near the station, it may be mistaken for a standing udon shop, but it's actually a busy restaurant with long lines on weekends. I ordered the Tai-no-chikuwa and half-boiled egg tempura udon to enjoy both udon and tempura. They offer seasonal menus, so there are always exciting discoveries whenever you visit. Kids under nursery and kindergarten age eat for free, and you can get a free size upgrade. It's a great value for money. They even provide cushions for kids to adjust the seat height. With its convenient location near the station, it's easy to access. Thank you for the meal!

This time I had the fluffy toriten bukkake udon cold. The noodles have a good texture and are very delicious! You can increase the amount of noodles for free from a regular serving to a medium serving. I chose a regular serving this time. The specialty seems to be the kama-tama udon, so I will definitely go back to try it!

Located just a 1-minute walk from Hankyu Hotarugaike Station, this restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options, making it suitable for a diverse range of age groups. The tempura is crispy and delicious. The udon noodles have a good chewiness, but it would be even better if the broth had a stronger flavor. I look forward to trying the curry udon next time.

I tried the limited-time Taiwan mixed udon and meat kamatama udon! Both dishes had a strong dashi flavor, and the noodles were firm and delicious! Even though the regular portion was satisfying, the option for a larger portion was available for free! The restaurant was conveniently located near the station, which was great!

We stopped by when we were heading to USJ. It seemed to be just after opening as there were no customers. My wife and I sat at a table and ordered the chicken tempura and egg curry tsukemen. The curry was thick with a tangy flavor, so I used my chopsticks to mix it with the noodles. The noodles had a nice chewy texture without being too firm. The tempura was fluffy and lightly seasoned, so I also dipped it in the curry. The soft-boiled egg was also delicious when dipped in the curry. Even though the medium portion of noodles was filling enough, the small serving of rice at the end allowed us to finish the curry cleanly.

I visited "Maruyoshi Seimenjo" in Osaka Hotaruike, a popular udon restaurant. I wanted to have udon for breakfast that day, but the restaurant I was planning to go to was closed, so I was in the mood for udon. I chose the premium meat udon for 1,122 yen! The meat and broth had a refined taste and were very delicious. I once again felt that Kansai-style broth is delicious. The tempura fried in rice oil is also popular, so I would like to try it next time.

I went to Itami Airport for a business trip. Before transferring from the Hankyu train to the Osaka Monorail, I decided to have lunch near Hotaruike Station. I visited Maruyoshi Seimenjo, known for their roast beef-topped meat kamatama udon, which is arranged like flower petals. However, I felt hesitant to spend 1,500 yen on lunch, especially since I was feeling a bit hungover and wanted something lighter. I opted for the fluffy tempura chicken udon (1,000 yen including tax) with extra noodles (+110 yen). Despite being labeled as light, the udon was actually quite flavorful. The tempura, fried in rice oil, was also excellent. The restaurant boasts udon and tempura, and it lives up to its reputation. While the broth for the bukkake udon was slightly light for my taste, I would like to try the zaru udon next time. The main dishes are all over 1,000 yen, making it a high-priced udon restaurant. Nevertheless, it was crowded during lunchtime. With only 6 counter seats and 2 small tables for 2, the capacity is quite limited, so it's best to avoid peak hours.

I arrived at the restaurant around 2:00 PM on Sunday and there were about five groups waiting. It was a popular place with a line even in the early afternoon. The menu had a wide variety of options, so it took some time to choose. The service was very good, and the udon was delicious, so I was satisfied.

I visited Maruyoshi for the first time today. I had the kake udon with toriten and tamagoten set, which cost around 1000 yen. The broth was gentle, and the toriten was fluffy and delicious. It's not fair to compare it to Sanuki udon, but the noodles were tasty even though they didn't have as much chewiness. Choosing the cold option was a good idea since the train's air conditioning made it cold. The location is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. According to a colleague from Kansai, this is the best place in the area. Thank you for the meal.

Three of us went to the restaurant and ordered Premium Tempura Cold Udon, Meat Udon, and Meat Kamatama Udon. We were seated and our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The famous Meat Kamatama Udon was smaller than expected and the juiciness of the meat was lacking. The tempura was freshly fried and satisfactory. The udon had a good texture, similar to Sanuki-style noodles, and was also satisfactory. The cost-performance ratio was around just under 4,000 yen. Overall, it was not great, but not bad either.

Before heading to Itami Airport, I decided to stop for lunch along the way and tried a restaurant near Hotaruike Station. It turned out to be a great choice as I had a high-quality kama-tama udon. The dashi shoyu was good, but the egg and udon were exceptionally delicious. The additional agodashi rice was also very satisfying.

I stopped by this restaurant for the first time while passing by. Inside, there were many autographs of famous people displayed. The noodles come in a medium serving for free! I ordered a lot but the udon noodles were thin with a good texture, and the tempura was crispy and delicious with salt. I ate it all up quickly. I would like to visit again.

When I looked at the menu, I was drawn to the tempura and wanted to eat udon, so I ordered this dish here. It was a great deal with a free medium serving, and I was very satisfied! The tempura was crispy and delicious just as it was described on the menu. The Seto Inland Sea dried fish vinegar that was served with it was used for a flavor change at the end. I enjoyed it until the very end. I was full and satisfied.

Today, I used this place for the first time. I felt like having a rice bowl dish, so I chose the pork cutlet bowl and bukkake udon set. The bukkake udon had grated daikon radish on top and just the right chewiness. The broth was very delicious, so next time I want to try a menu with udon as the main dish. The pork cutlet bowl had a stronger broth flavor than I expected, so I think it would be better if it were a bit lighter. I will definitely come back again.

I visited a restaurant called "Maruyoshi Seimenjo" in Hotaruike this time. I came all the way to Toyonaka in search of a photogenic udon, and here it is - the meaty Kama Tamago Udon. The menu I ordered was:
- Meat Kama Tamago Udon: 1,518 yen
- Agodashi-scented Yakigohan (grilled rice): 165 yen
The highlight was the "Meat Kama Tamago Udon," which has won the King's Best Gourmet Award. The noodles are homemade, made from carefully selected Hokkaido and Mie wheat. When I followed the instructions to first taste the noodles on their own, they were chewy with just the right amount of firmness and a rich aroma. Pouring the dipping sauce over the noodles, I could taste the soy sauce flavor and the direct umami of seafood. The homemade roast beef was delicious on its own, but even better when wrapped in the noodles, combining the meaty flavor with the wheat aroma. Breaking the egg yolk, mixing it in, and adding the lemon on the side enhanced the original flavor of the udon and the meatiness. I enjoyed a photogenic udon that allowed me to savor the essence of udon and the meatiness. The grilled rice with a dashi flavor was also excellent.

On this day, I had work in Hotaruike and decided to have lunch at "Maruyoshi Seimenjo". I arrived at the restaurant a little before 2 pm, and even though lunchtime peak was over, the place was about 90% full. I thought it would be less crowded since I only use this station for transferring to Itami Airport, so it was a bit surprising. I ordered the Niku Kamatama Udon. It took about 7 minutes from ordering to serving. Since it was my first time here, I followed the recommended way of eating given by the staff. First, I tried the udon as it is. The noodles were thin, soft, stretchy, and had a chewy texture. It had a salty taste, so it was delicious to eat as it is, or even better that way. The dashi shoyu was on the stronger side, making it hard to taste the original flavor of the udon, so I recommend adding a small amount gradually. The roast beef was light, so you can dip it in the dashi shoyu, but it's also good to taste the roast beef itself without anything at first. If I were to eat it again, I would like to savor the udon itself more. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by while on a business trip to Itami Airport. The restaurant has a bright atmosphere with a main counter. It was my first time, but I tried the Taiwan-style mixed udon and it was delicious. The udon had a good firmness. There are plenty of great coupons on LINE. I recommend it.

We were drawn to this restaurant by its atmosphere and decided to go in with our family. The recommended dishes were the Meat Kamatama Udon and the Taiwan Mixed Udon. The Meat Kamatama Udon was luxurious in appearance, taste, and the amount of meat. We were very satisfied. The Taiwan Mixed Udon was exciting to mix thoroughly in the spicy and savory bonito-flavored udon soup. The firm noodles were delicious. We plan to come back to eat here again.

I came to a udon restaurant that is perfect for Instagram. I ordered the simple Kama Tamago Udon. The highlight of this udon is the endless amount of meat laid along the plate! It was very filling and delicious ^_^

Ordered the Agodashi-flavored Kake Udon with tempura and homemade tuna flakes salt onigiri. The broth was light and the udon noodles were delicious. The noodles were thin with a soft texture, which I liked. The tempura included fluffy chicken tempura, half-cooked egg tempura, and enoki mushroom tempura, all freshly fried and crispy. The salt was also tasty.
