Founded in 1927, Yoshiume is a renowned restaurant known for its leek hot pot. Although I had considered using it for entertaining guests before, it seemed that many customers preferred meat, eel, or sushi dishes. However, during the recent self-PCR testing trend in Ningyocho, I happened to pass by Yoshiume and decided to give it a try. Upon further research, I discovered that they offer not only excellent dinner courses but also lunch options such as kaiseki, grilled fish, porridge, sashimi, tempura, tendon, and ara-ni. I am particularly interested in the tuna marinated rice bowl set, as Yoshiume is renowned for its tuna dishes. The dish includes marinated tuna, salmon roe, egg yolk, seaweed, pickled ginger, and wasabi, beautifully presented. The quality of the food is top-notch, with dishes like chawanmushi, clams, miso soup, and pickles complementing the meal. Overall, the tuna marinated rice bowl set and grilled fish set seem like excellent choices.
