This is a popular omurice specialty restaurant in Rokumonsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Their signature dish is the fluffy and creamy half-cooked egg mentaiko omurice. Located just a short walk from Rokumonsu Station on the Nanakuma Line, the restaurant often has long lines, especially on weekends with mainly women and young people. I visited on a rainy weekday when there was no line and tried their most popular dish, the "Menomu Lunch" set for 1,050 yen. The set includes mentaiko omurice, mini salad, choice of drink, and dessert. The omurice comes in various flavors, but the set only offers the mentaiko omurice. I opted for the "Yakiniku Omurice" for 990 yen, which features a plain omelette on top of rice mixed with yakiniku beef. The combination of the soft egg and mentaiko rice was delightful. The mentaiko rice had a generous amount of mentaiko, providing a pleasurable taste experience. They also offer other dishes like seafood bowls, ochazuke, and okayu. Overall, I recommend trying the "Menomu Lunch" set if you don't mind mentaiko, as it offers the best value. The restaurant also serves cakes, summer limited shaved ice, and more. Enjoyed my meal at Gokoku Rokumonsu store.

This is a popular omurice restaurant in Fukuoka. I had to visit the area for some errands and decided to stop by for the first time in a few years.
[Ordered Menu]
- Yakiniku Omurice (990 yen)
The delicious brown rice was great. The egg was slightly lacking in saltiness, maybe I should have asked for more sauce. The egg looked a bit sad as it stared at me.
[Impressions]
The egg was fluffy and delicious as expected. I arrived on a weekday at 11:30 am and was able to get a seat without waiting. The restaurant quickly filled up.

On Sunday afternoon, I visited the restaurant. It was raining, but there were about 3 groups waiting in line in front of the store. We waited for about 20 minutes sitting on the chairs placed outside before we were able to get in. My friend ordered the famous Mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omurice, while I chose the Garlic Rice omurice. Of course, we couldn't forget the beer! The omurice was delicious! The eggs were fluffy and had a rich egg flavor. I also tried some of the Mentaiko omurice, and it was really tasty, with that beloved Mentaiko rice taste. The Mentaiko omurice apparently comes with mayonnaise, and the combination of Mentaiko and mayonnaise is just perfect. I almost regretted not ordering the Mentaiko one, but the Garlic Rice omurice was also very delicious! Compared to the Mentaiko, the Garlic Rice omurice was easier to finish even in a large portion. When I asked my friend after we finished eating, they said that if they had ordered the large portion of Mentaiko omurice, it might have been a bit too much to handle. It was tasty, but Mentaiko is not something you can eat a lot of in one go. Still, the omurice was exquisite! Next time, I'll definitely go for the Mentaiko omurice! Thank you for the delicious meal!

We felt like having omurice, so my daughter and I decided to go and entered the restaurant around 6 pm. I had heard that there would be a long line during lunchtime, but perhaps because it was an odd hour, we were able to be seated right away. My daughter ordered the mentaiko omurice, while I tried the garlic omurice. They provided ketchup and mayonnaise for seasoning. The fluffy omelette part looked tempting, and since we were both hungry, we started eating with high spirits. However, halfway through, both of us stopped with our spoons... The taste was delicious, but perhaps due to the generous amount of butter, we started feeling a bit heavy in the stomach (sigh). Interestingly, I have experienced the same thing at other omurice specialty restaurants... It might be possible for men or those with big appetites, but things like extra servings seem impossible for me. We managed to finish our meal, but personally, I think it would be better with a bit less butter. There were other menu items besides omurice, so I would like to try those next time. Thank you for the meal!

In the past, on the SHOW channel, Hashimoto Kanna was introduced with a delicious dish of five-grain mentaiko omurice with fluffy eggs, cheese, and Fukuoka's specialty mentaiko. It seemed to be a popular restaurant, but we were able to get in without waiting because it was dusk. 😊

First visit. A popular omurice restaurant in Ropponmatsu that I was curious about. I thought it was a popular spot among students and those in their 20s, so I decided to check it out. However, I was surprised to see that the age range and gender of the customers were quite diverse. There were even men dining alone, so it seems welcoming for solo male diners as well. I ordered the regular omurice with salad and cold soup. I also got the pancake for dessert. The seaweed salad was the most delicious. Additionally, it seems that mozzarella cheese automatically mixes into the egg part of the omurice. I initially thought they made a mistake with mine, but it was the same for my companion, so I believe it's a default addition.

I finally got to visit a restaurant I've been wanting to go to for years!! I ordered the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omurice set with cold soy milk corn soup. I didn't take a photo because I was too busy trying to open the omurice while recording a video, which didn't turn out well. The omurice itself was delicious with a nice kick from the mentaiko! I should have ordered the large portion though, it wasn't enough for me! Next time, I'll definitely go for the large size! Thank you for the meal!

I had always been curious about this restaurant. It's quite famous for its omurice in Fukuoka, so I wanted to try it out. I headed there for lunch on a weekday and luckily there was no line, so I could easily get a table. The restaurant wasn't very big, with only 10-11 tables, so it might get crowded and slow if it fills up, but it was mostly women dining there, leisurely enjoying their meals. I ordered the lunch set with mentaiko omurice. First came the drink and salad, and then after a bit of a wait, the mentaiko omurice arrived! The presentation was impressive and it looked delicious! Fluffy and soft! When I touched the surface with my spoon, the omelette bloomed open like a flower, flowing onto the plate. Amazing, I can't make an omelette this well! The rice was mixed generously with mentaiko, but it wasn't very spicy and had a light flavor. The combination of the creamy cheese, egg, and mentaiko rice worked well together. I occasionally changed the flavor by adding ketchup and mayonnaise as I ate. Hmm, isn't there too much rice? It feels like there's probably more than 2 servings' worth? It got a bit boring. In conclusion, it was delicious, but like with many specialty dishes, once you've tried it, you might not feel the need to have it again. However, it definitely has a strong impact and would appeal to women. After finishing my meal and leaving, I saw that there was a line forming, so I was lucky with my timing.

A friend who had returned to Fukuoka after a long time requested to have lunch together. We decided to go to a restaurant that serves Gokoku cuisine, as we used to go there often after school on Kiyokidori Street. When we arrived at the restaurant before 12 pm, there was no queue even though it was a Saturday. We were surprised as we expected long lines on weekends. Inside the restaurant, there was only one other group. We all ordered the Men-omu lunch set. The salad arrived quickly, followed by a 20-minute wait for the omurice. Surprisingly, the omurice was not broken, except for the one ordered by my friend, which was split in half. The server just said, "Sorry for the wait," without any other words. When I tried to take a picture of the broken omurice, they brought us tea and dessert. Even though I had asked for it after eating, the tea was already cold. Overall, all three of us were disappointed. When we visited their new location in Ropponmatsu, we noticed a decline in the quality of their food, and it seems like it has remained the same. Although the omurice was fluffy, the amount of milk and cheese made it too rich. Additionally, the rice seemed lukewarm, almost cold, as if it had been prepared in advance. We used to enjoy the delicious Gokoku cuisine at the old location on Kiyokidori Street, so it was disappointing for all three of us.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years since it moved. It's a popular place with long lines during lunchtime. The lunch set menu is a great deal, but I recommend visiting in the evening. You usually don't have to wait long, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. They also serve white wine, which pairs perfectly with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) dishes! The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are polite and sometimes even smile, which is nice. Their famous dish is the mentaiko omelette rice. If you have friends visiting from out of town who want to try mentaiko in Fukuoka, they will definitely be pleased here. In addition to the mentaiko omelette rice, the milk porridge and garlic omelette rice are also delicious! They have a children's menu, high chairs, and a hand washing area, making it easy for families with kids to dine here. However, the restaurant is small, so bringing a stroller might be difficult. I will definitely go back when I crave mentaiko again!

I ordered mentaiko omurice with corn soup and salad!! After about 10 minutes, the mentaiko omurice with ketchup and mayonnaise arrived! When you break open the omurice with a spoon, you'll find a creamy egg with cheese inside, which tastes delicious when combined with the mentaiko rice. The rice is made with multigrain rice. Adding ketchup and mayonnaise allows for some flavor variation, which is nice! Although I didn't order the large portion, the amount of rice was quite substantial! It was very filling! The corn soup and salad were average. The taste was good though! If the mentaiko rice had some additional ingredients like meat or vegetables, it would have been even more satisfying! Thank you for the meal!

I visited on Saturday afternoon. I was prepared to wait in line, but there were only two groups ahead of me, so I got in after about 10 minutes. I ordered the mentaiko omurice, and the eggs were fluffy and the rice had a strong mentaiko flavor, which I enjoyed!

It had been a while since I last visited the restaurant on Keyaki Street. From what I remember, the food was delicious, but the butter and cheese became a bit overwhelming after a while. I ordered the classic mentaiko omurice, while my son, who doesn't like spicy food, got the grilled meat omurice. The first bite was just as delicious as I remembered. My son let me try a bite of his grilled meat omurice, and it was incredibly tasty. I wish I could recreate it at home, but I struggle with making the eggs just right. Towards the end, the large portion and oily feeling became a bit too much, which was disappointing. I think if they offered a smaller size, like a half or two-thirds portion, it would be enjoyable until the end. For dessert, we had a petit gâteau chocolat.

I used to come to this restaurant on Keyaki Street often in the past. I felt like having their spicy cod roe omelette rice after a long time, so I visited. It was a bit messy when it was brought to me, haha, but it's okay, it's better if it's not messy. There's a lot of spicy cod roe in it. The egg has plenty of cheese too. I used to like it in the past, but now I find it a bit heavy. Young people will probably like it.

This is a popular omurice restaurant located in Rokumonmatsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. It is known for its fluffy and creamy omurice, with the main menu item being the "Fluffy Omurice". The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the complex facility "Rokumonmatsu 421/MJR", right next to Rokumonmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Line. Apart from the omurice, they also offer a variety of other dishes such as maguro don, unagi, ochazuke, and okayu. The most popular item is the "Men Omurice Lunch" which includes a salad, a drink, and dessert along with the omurice. The omurice is topped with a fluffy omelette and filled with creamy mentaiko rice. The dessert is a small cake that serves as a refreshing end to the meal. The restaurant also offers cafe options like cake sets and shaved ice.

Today, I went on a date in Fukuoka city and visited a omurice restaurant recommended by my boyfriend. I love omurice, so I was already excited before going there. The restaurant had a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Besides omurice, they had many other menu options, but this time I ordered the one I had been wanting to try for a while. I ordered the mentaiko omurice for ¥990 and it was served to me in just a few minutes. The omelette on top of the rice was so fluffy and when I cut into it, it split beautifully. The mentaiko rice was not too salty and tasted great. The portion was quite big and I ended up feeling very full, but it was delicious and I was completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

On the 5th day of my business trip to Fukuoka, I visited Gokoku for lunch. It is located right outside Ropponmatsu Station and is a popular spot known for its omurice and cakes. I arrived 3 minutes before opening time, but the restaurant was already open and about 80% full with mostly female customers. I was seated at a table for 2 by myself. I ordered the Men-Om Lunch for 1,050 yen, with a large serving for an additional 160 yen, and a vegetable juice (set drink) for a total of 1,210 yen. The Men-Om Lunch is a great deal that includes popular mentaiko omurice, corn salad, a small dessert, and a soft drink. Soon, salad, cutlery, water, and paper towels arrived, followed by the large serving of mentaiko omurice, ketchup, and mayonnaise after about 10 minutes. The mentaiko rice was topped with a cheese-filled fluffy omelet. Cutting open the egg revealed a rich flavor of cheese and mentaiko, making it delicious even without ketchup or mayonnaise. I enjoyed the mini dessert and vegetable juice, and left completely satisfied after finishing my meal. Although it is a popular spot among women, opting for the large serving can provide a satisfying portion for men as well. By 11:30, there was already a waitlist forming. The restaurant operates from 11:00 to 22:00, so I recommend visiting outside of peak hours to avoid the crowds!

There is an omurice restaurant in the MJR at Rokubonmatsu. Some women also dine alone there. I ordered the omurice set with a yakiniku flavor. It was more like meat rice than yakiniku. The presentation was nice and the taste was not bad. The salad and appetizer in the set were mediocre, so I recommend ordering just the omurice on its own.

I visited the restaurant during off-peak hours without the lunch rush. The menu includes items like shaved ice for snacks, which may not be commonly found in other dining establishments during that time. The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omelette rice was delicious. I found the regular size to be quite generous in portion.

Located 89m from Rokumonmatsu Station on Keyaki Street, this restaurant specializes in omurice and I have been a regular customer since its opening. It has recently relocated to a spot right near Rokumonmatsu Station. The interior has a cafe-like atmosphere that may seem intimidating for men to enter alone, but I have never felt unwelcome. The signature dish here is the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omurice. They also offer options like yakiniku (grilled meat) omurice, garlic omurice, and ketchup omurice. In addition to omurice, they serve dishes like seafood bowl and ochazuke, providing a variety for those who may not enjoy omurice. I have only tried the omurice here, but this time I opted for the yakiniku omurice. Unlike the mentaiko, this dish has a hearty and rich flavor, giving off a more masculine vibe. It is delicious, but may feel a bit heavy. Ultimately, I find myself ordering the mentaiko omurice every other visit. I really enjoy the creamy texture of the eggs.
