With a plethora of enticing menu options, it's hard to decide, so I leave it to the regulars like Mr. Miki. "Potion Mama Blanc 2020/Complemen'Terre" - a delicate sparkling wine that elegantly spreads on the palate. Paired with a beer chaser, the appetizer platter arrives. The "Shirasu Bruschetta" is crispy and sweet, with a hint of garlic in the mashed potato bruschetta that highlights the sesame flavor. Accompanied by semi-dried tomatoes and raisins, the pace of the meal matches the speed of the wine. The steaming baguette keeps coming endlessly, thanks to the generous butter, tapenade, and tomato puree. The "Mexican Salad" features salmon, roast beef, pate de campagne, scallops, boiled eggs, vinaigrette, fruit tomatoes, and endives, with rich cheese as an accent. "Traminer Ouillé 2020" offers a rich acidity and depth of flavor. Next comes the bubbling sensation of the "Macaroni Gratin" - the gentle bechamel sauce, perfectly cooked macaroni, succulent shrimp, and ham's savory taste create a harmonious blend that elicits sighs of delight. The "Shrimp Fry" surprises with the presence of vegetables that rival the shrimp itself. Paired with an orange wine, each component, from the purple potatoes to the tomatoes, is delicious, especially when dipped in a honey mustard sauce that enhances the flavors. The "Vincent Stoeffler Le Beurot 2021" pairs well with the "Lamb Mince Cutlet," which is flavorful and tender, seasoned with cumin and seaweed salt.
