When feeling tired, what better way to unwind than with some yakiniku! So, on a Saturday night, I decided to go to a yakiniku restaurant. I arrived at 5:05 pm when they opened at 5 pm, and they seated me at the counter since there were two empty seats at the tables. The atmosphere felt like a place with a long history, with some customers mentioning they were regulars. The sound of Osaka dialect filled the air, making me feel like I was truly in Osaka. The grill and roaster were already sizzling with a blackened net even before the meat was put on. I enjoyed a refreshing draft beer while waiting for my order of tongue, liver, and skirt steak. It was a rare sight to see the owner skillfully prepare the meat after taking the order. The restaurant had a nostalgic touch, with even the telephone being a rotary dial, adding to the atmosphere. The taste of the meat was even more delicious when paired with these unique elements. The portion size of each plate was generous, so I finished off with some rice and daikon kimchi. The total bill came to 5,300 yen. It was truly a blissful and enjoyable time.

I visited this restaurant today after going to Rakuraku-tei last time. It was still very popular. The restaurant has 4 tables for 4 people each and a counter with 7 seats, so it fills up quickly. Luckily, I was seated at the counter. I couldn't decide between wine and highball, but I chose Black Nikka highball. For the meat, I ordered harami, kalbi, and red sirloin. Since it was early in the opening hours, it took some time for the meat to come out, so I ordered homemade daikon kimchi. The daikon was fresh and crispy, which I enjoyed with plenty of highball. When the meat arrived, I grilled it slowly and savored each bite. I wonder which one is more delicious, but overall, I think Rakuraku-tei suits me better. However, I leisurely enjoyed the food while watching the TV in front of the counter. Thank you for the meal, I think I will visit again in the future.

After finishing my night shift on Friday, I decided to get a haircut at a hair salon in Sakaisuji Hommachi, and then maybe go to Spa World. But before that, I wanted to have lunch at a place I've been wanting to try in Namba called "Tabehei". I arrived around 2:00 PM. The place is usually crowded, but since it was past lunchtime, there were only two other tables occupied - a couple in their 20s and a couple in their 40s to 50s. When I entered, the chef asked if it was okay to take a break from 3:00 PM, to which I agreed. I sat at the counter, and the lady inside the counter asked what I wanted to order while quickly lighting the stove. I ordered a large bottle of beer and two servings of kalbi. The beer came in 2 seconds, and the kalbi in 5 seconds. The beer was delicious, and the kalbi was cooked quickly and tasted great. I ordered more kalbi and enjoyed it with rice. After finishing my meal, I left the restaurant. The total bill was around 4100 yen. I arrived at 2:17 PM and left at 2:40 PM, so I spent about 23 minutes there. Even though it was a short visit, I was very satisfied. I will definitely come back again! 😊

A popular yakiniku restaurant in Namba. I used it for a lunch date. Since the opening time is 11:30, I arrived 20 minutes early. We were the first ones there, but 10 minutes before opening, there were about 15 people lined up. We started with a toast with a draft beer. The tongue, premium loin, top belly, harami, top tripe, teppanyaki, liver, kimchi, all were exquisite. We had a blissful time.

Around 6:30 pm, I felt like eating yakiniku, so I decided to go. Luckily, there was no line so I was able to get a table right away. I ordered harami, top mino, and salted tongue, and they were all delicious. This restaurant is always busy, but this time I was able to go twice in a row. Next time, I would like to try other types of meat. By the time I left the restaurant, my body was already filled with the smell of yakiniku, and for the next few hours, I was surrounded by the scent of grilled meat.

I wake up in the morning and feel like having yakiniku for lunch. I always end up coming here, where I can just walk in without a reservation and enjoy harami, rice, and sauce forever. This is true happiness. The premium loin has so much fat, so the regular loin is enough. I enter as soon as they open to avoid the smoky atmosphere. I think this is the right choice. The menu we had: Premium tongue, loin - each $1450, Harami, skirt steak - each $1450 x 2, Special premium loin - $2500, intestines, liver - each $800, heart - $600, Namul mix - $450, Kimchi mix - $750, rice - $250.

I arrived at the famous restaurant Tachihei in Namba before it opened, and there were already about 3 people in line. The tongue, harami, and top loin were all incredibly delicious. The rice, which is said to be blended, was also very tasty. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We arrived with two people! We were seated at the counter, but as soon as we made a toast, a table became available so we moved there! The meat and sauce were delicious! The tongue was freshly cut, but the bottled beer wasn't cold from about the fifth one! Also, there was too much smoke!

The harami (skirt steak) on the second visit was so delicious that four of us went and probably ate about 8 servings in total. It was a bit hot, but eating in this atmosphere was nice. The portion size was bigger than expected, but we managed to finish it all. Although not shown in the photos, it was so delicious that the four of us ate a lot and drank, and the total bill came to 28,000 yen. Very satisfied.

Eating alone, I had white kimchi, upper mino, tsurami, and harami with two bottles of Sapporo Black Label beer for around 5,000 yen! It was incredibly delicious! The place was so smoky that I couldn't keep my eyes open properly! I would endure that just to eat there! The food tasted great even without any sauce, but the sauce had a tangy flavor similar to ponzu!

This is a famous yakiniku restaurant in Namba! The atmosphere with lots of smoke is great! The staff will light the fire for you, but the fire may be a bit strong for the thickness of the meat, so I recommend asking for it to be a bit weaker! The prices are average, but some people may find it expensive! Honestly, the taste was so-so! The harami (skirt steak) is delicious, but just okay! The tongue was not that great! The way the meat is cut may be a bit rough, so it was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected!

Today, my colleagues Macaroni, and my junior Cholegi, ventured to a yakiniku restaurant called Tahei in Namba. This place is known for its Showa-era style yakiniku, where you grill your meat over a gas fire grill, creating a lot of smoke. Despite the smoky atmosphere, the reward is delicious charred meat that is worth it. We followed recommendations and ordered the Harami and Salted Tongue. The Salted Tongue was thick and juicy, and we squeezed lemon over it before grilling. The result was tender and flavorful meat that melted in our mouths. The Harami was also seasoned with grated garlic before grilling, adding a unique flavor. Despite the smoky experience, the taste of the meat was exceptional, and we enjoyed every bite. Tahei provided us with a memorable yakiniku experience, and we left satisfied and happy.

Matsubaira is my favorite restaurant among the many famous barbecue restaurants in Osaka. I visited after about 3 years, and nothing had changed. The food was delicious as always, and the atmosphere was just like Matsubaira. Thank you so much for always being there and providing delicious meals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It's been a while since I've been to Namba, so I went alone to Manpei for beer, assorted horumon, harami, kalbi, and kimchi! Finished off with white rice. The horumon is still delicious as always. The harami and kalbi were slightly disappointing, the flavor seemed to have dropped a bit. The sauce goes well with white rice. The rice is incredibly tasty.

I visited Yakiniku Tahira. It is a long-established yakiniku restaurant near Namba Takashimaya. The restaurant does not accept reservations on weekends and holidays. I'm not sure about weekdays. Depending on the timing, there may be a line. There are about 4 counter seats and tables in the restaurant. I ordered the special tongue and harami, which are must-try dishes. I also ordered the maruchou, which is like teppanyaki. I also ordered beer and rice. Although the menu lists rice sizes as small and medium, they also offer a large size. The meat is cut in front of you for each order at the counter, so you can see it up close. The restaurant tends to get smoky inside, giving it an old-fashioned feel. Thank you for the meal. When it comes to yakiniku in Namba, Tapei-san is a must-visit restaurant. The harami and white rice are delicious. The restaurant is open from 11:30 am, and I have visited it multiple times. I learned a great way to order delicious food from a certain restaurant owner. Order 5 servings of harami and white rice for a satisfying meal. The harami is delicious, and the white rice is a blend of several types of domestic rice, which is incredibly tasty. Other meats on the menu are also delicious. I highly recommend it!

I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The meat was average. However, I felt that the quality was low for the price. I was also dissatisfied with the slow service in providing the rice we ordered (probably forgotten). Considering its location in Namba, it may be considered cheap, but when I return to my local area, there are many other restaurants that are tastier, cheaper, and have better service than here. I feel a sense of discomfort with the high ratings in reviews.

A small restaurant with tables and a counter that can fit about 30 people when packed. When you open the door, there is a lot of smoke. We ordered various meats like harami and tan, along with kimchi and soup. The meat was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, very delicious. The smoke was intense and made my eyes water, but it really gave that authentic BBQ restaurant feel!

As delicious as ever. The tongue has the best sweetness, texture, and thickness! The harami is not dry at all, it melts in your mouth like a scallop. I have never encountered tongue and harami more delicious than those at Tahira. Thank you to the master and the mother for always serving delicious meat. Thank you for the meal.

Namba Station, 3 minutes walk, "Tapei". This time, I ordered a la carte after being seated. Ordered items (☆ indicates particularly liked menu items): ☆ Beef tongue with salt 1450 yen ☆ Pork loin 1450 yen ☆ Assorted innards 900 yen ☆ Oolte 700 yen Started with the beef tongue with salt. It had a strong, hearty flavor. The pork loin had a striking appearance. Even for a regular pork loin, this was impressive. The assorted innards had a unique cut that I had never seen before. The tough parts were cooked well and had a nice texture. The oolte had a good texture as well. I also enjoyed it with the sauce. It was so tasty that it felt like I was eating the sauce itself. I visited on a weekday for lunch. Even so, there were customers enjoying beer in the afternoon. The rice was shiny and delicious. The sauce was really delicious. I would like to visit again.
