On Saturday's Ushi no Hi (Ox Day), I thought about buying eel to take home, but considering the current trend of delivery being convenient, I decided to have it delivered instead. It was on sale for a limited time. It didn't have the charcoal-grilled aroma, but for the price, it was plump and delicious. For common folks like us, this kind of meal is satisfying and convenient.

I often see delivery bikes in the city. Today, I tried ordering from the sushi delivery specialist, Gin no Sara, for the first time. I ordered the Hana Chirashi and Udon set for 880 yen. I placed the order at 11:30 am and it arrived at 1:00 pm. It seems quite popular, as I see a lot of their bikes around town. The delivery was quick, and the colorful chirashi and generous portion of udon were delivered to my door. The chirashi had a variety of toppings like tuna, octopus, ikura, salmon, and egg. It was delicious, with just the right amount of vinegar in the rice. I added soy sauce and wasabi, and enjoyed every bite. The udon looked appetizing too, but I was too full from the chirashi to eat it all. Overall, it was a very tasty meal.
