I used the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. When using this service, it is required to dine at the Hokkai Gourmet Restaurant, which is a bit inconvenient, but still a great service. I went for the Uni (sea urchin) bowl, and although they didn't have Ezo Bafun Uni, they served Ezo Murasaki Uni which was sweet and delicious. I also ordered a sashimi platter as I had some leftover rice. The meal cost around 8,500 yen for two bowls and a sashimi platter. Since it was a weekday, I didn't have to wait in line and could enjoy my meal smoothly. The market outside the restaurant had various food options and was a fun place to visit.

I visited the restaurant around 11:30 on the second day of the three-day weekend, and was able to enter smoothly. I was torn between today's recommendation, but ended up going for the seafood bowl to make it look good on social media. On this day, the sea urchin was changed to purple sea urchin instead of Ezo Bauhun sea urchin, but that's fine. It was a satisfying meal with a good amount of food and great for photos.

I visited after a long time. There were so many menu options that I had a hard time deciding. I ordered a 15-piece assorted bowl. I also ordered crab soup as an extra, which was delicious. I also ordered grilled red salmon, which was also delicious.

This is a restaurant where my colleague took me, and there are many autographs of celebrities. There are a lot of rice bowl dishes on the menu, so I had a hard time choosing, but this time I ordered the recommended rice bowl for 2,000 yen and crab miso soup. It may be a bit pricey as it is a tourist spot, but you can enjoy fresh fish.

I took advantage of the transfer service that allows you to use hotel breakfast vouchers here. The hotel even provided a shuttle service to get here. With a 1900 yen breakfast voucher, I enjoyed one of the three set meals available, a seafood rice bowl set, a platter of assorted sashimi, and a toast with cold sake and beer. The salted squid served as an appetizer was deliciously crunchy. I also bought some souvenirs on the way back. The prices were reasonable, and I was more satisfied than the izakaya I visited last night. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon, they didn't have fresh squid for sashimi. Overall, it was a fulfilling morning with a meaningful time spent. The female staff at the restaurant were all very friendly and had a pleasant demeanor.

I always buy souvenirs from "Hokkaido Gourmet" in Sapporo, so I visited again this time. I got ikura, saltwater sea urchin, hokke, and other items I was looking for, and then had breakfast at Gourmet Tei. I've been having seafood bowls a lot lately, so this time I ordered the Colorful Seven-Color Bowl and the Shrimp, Crab, and Salmon Bowl. They were all fresh and delicious! Thank you for the meal.

When you think of Hokkaido... seafood bowls~!!! ✨ I visited "Hokkaido Gourmet Tei" located inside the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, which had high ratings on Tabelog. The restaurant has a total of 320 seats on the 1st and 2nd floors, and by the time we left around 12:30, it was already fully packed (we arrived around 11:30 and got seats easily). The walls inside the restaurant are covered with autographs of famous people from various countries, not just Japanese! I ordered the seafood bowl (with extra shellfish instead of sea urchin and salmon roe), my son had the mini-sized salmon roe bowl, and my husband ordered the four major crab bowl. We also shared the scallop grill, which was a first-time experience for my son. I thought he wouldn't eat it because he's a picky eater, but he surprised me by eating it all! He's been eating with a huge appetite since we came to Hokkaido, even devouring vegetables he hadn't touched since becoming a toddler. The entrance to the restaurant on the 1st floor opens up to a wide market with a large variety of seafood and crabs on display, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. I plan to visit again to look for souvenirs. 😊

It was a bowl that allowed me to fully enjoy Hokkaido. Each ingredient was fresh and fatty, making it very delicious. The price was also not too high, so I was very satisfied. If I have the opportunity to come to Sapporo again, I would like to revisit.

I went to this popular restaurant recommended by a famous oceanographer from Hokkaido, prepared to wait for an hour. However, I was able to get in smoothly at 10 am on a Saturday, which is when tourists start moving around. Among the many seafood bowls, I chose one with clams, especially Hokkigai. It had botan shrimp, scallops, Hokkigai, and shijimi clams. The freshness made a difference, it was sweet. The botan shrimp was also deliciously tender.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday morning and it was quite empty, so I was seated right away. I ordered a uni, crab, and ikura bowl for 3490 yen including tax, which is quite pricey. It took about 15 minutes for the dish to arrive after ordering. It came with tororo kelp soup and seaweed tsukudani. The ikura was delicious and gooey, and the uni was very tasty, although I wish there was more of it. The crab lacked a bit of freshness. The soup was light and tasty. Overall, the food was delicious, but it felt a bit overpriced, more geared towards tourists. You could probably find similar dishes for a cheaper price in Tokyo or Osaka. The bafun uni was particularly delicious.

On Thursday afternoon, I used the free shuttle bus from my accommodation to get to the restaurant. Looking at the menu, everything looked delicious and I was a bit indecisive, but I ended up ordering the "Live Squid Sashimi (1,600 yen including tax)" and the "Mini Uni and Ikura Bowl (3,270 yen including tax)". Both dishes were tasty, but they didn't quite live up to my expectations. After the meal, I bought a souvenir for myself and had it shipped using a cool delivery service.

In the market, there is a restaurant where you can eat seafood bowls. They open at 7 am, serving delicious breakfast. I tried the Crab, Sea Urchin, and Salmon Roe Bowl as my first meal in Hokkaido. The rice portion was a bit more than the toppings, but the salmon roe, crab, and sea urchin were excellent. It was the perfect start to my Hokkaido trip. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing my night shift, I wanted to drink in the morning so I went to an outdoor market. I was recommended to try the rice bowls, but I insisted on just wanting to drink. So I ordered sashimi, shima hokke (Atka mackerel), and saltwater sea urchin, and then just kept ordering beer. The prices were more reasonable than in Susukino. The sea urchin was small but delicious, and the hokke was a size rarely seen in Tokyo. The sashimi was also delicious.

During my trip to Sapporo, the Central Bus tour included a lunch break at the outdoor market. I decided to explore a bit before entering this restaurant. I ordered the recommended seafood bowl with less rice (2000 yen including tax). The bowl had 9 types of seafood and was luxurious and delicious!

On the first floor, there is a shop where you can buy seafood, and the first and second floors are dining areas. The spacious interior was filled with a group of Thai people enjoying crab. We debated between the sea urchin bowl from our last visit, but this time we ordered the seafood bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. This place is definitely the best for seafood bowls.

I visited around 8:30 on May 4th and was promptly seated. I ordered the popular seafood bowl. It was not the typical small bowl, but had a generous portion. The rice was plentiful and the seaweed and pickled vegetables added a nice touch. Personally, I really enjoyed the surf clam. All the other ingredients were also very delicious. I would like to try a different bowl next time. Thank you for the meal.

Tarako, Zuwai, and Ikura Donburi for 1620 yen, and fresh Atka Mackerel for 1180 yen were ordered. This was our lunch at the end of a bus tour. The restaurant is located in a corner of the market outside the central wholesale market. This was also the choice of the wife. I had never eaten crab before, so I chose the Crab Seafood Donburi. Both the Taraba and Zuwai crabs had firm and flavorful meat, with an amazing crab taste. With the coupon, we also got a complimentary crab soup, which was delicious. The Atka Mackerel was tender, juicy, and had a unique taste, truly authentic. The restaurant was crowded as two tour buses had arrived. To our surprise, the mackerel arrived just 15 minutes before our departure time, making us a bit nervous. Thankfully, we managed to finish our meal before the bus left, but we wished we had more time to enjoy it.

There is a free shuttle bus to the hotel (reservation required). It seems to be a dining place for tourists. We ordered something light as we were going to the arena in the afternoon and shared it between the two of us. The seafood bowl came with miso soup and seaweed with sea cucumber. The seaweed with sea cucumber was delicious. It is sold at the shop below. I usually don't like sea urchin and can't eat it, but the sea urchin in Hokkaido was delicious without any fishy taste.

First day of my trip to Hokkaido! My boss, who always stops here first to eat seafood and buy seafood souvenirs for his family, brought me along. The inside of the store was bustling with tourists buying souvenirs, and there was a dining area next to it. Several customers were already inside the dining area.
[Ordered Menu]
Ebi Kani Ikura Salmon Donburi (¥2000)
Sapporo Beer (pint)
After ordering, the seafood donburi arrived in just a few minutes. It was a luxurious dish with head-on shrimp, crab, ikura, and salmon - a great taste of Hokkaido! It was a wonderful experience enjoying beer from Sapporo in the morning. I often eat seafood in Nagoya where I live, but the seafood donburi from Hokkaido's market was on another level in terms of freshness, texture, and taste. The local beer tasted different and was delicious.
After finishing the seafood donburi, I bought some Hokkaido-specific souvenirs like asparagus and crab at the souvenir corner. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Gourmet Tei alone in a taxi on a rainy morning during a trip with friends. The taxi driver recommended this market, which was better than the one we originally planned to visit. I ordered the Hokkai Gourmet Sashimi A with herring sashimi, Sapporo Classic beer, and sweet and salty grilled salmon. It was cold, so I also had hot sake and boiled asparagus. I ended my meal with crab soup and was very satisfied. The herring and Hokkai clam sashimi were delicious, but unfortunately, they couldn't be taken home as souvenirs. I asked the staff about the delicious grilled salmon and had the same one sent to my home. Next time I visit Sapporo, I would like to start my day here.
