I was attracted to this restaurant because of the salad bar and finally decided to visit. I went on a Monday afternoon around 2 pm and there were a few people there. You can add a "Farmers' Salad Bar" to your meal for an additional 380 yen. I chose the deep-fried tofu set meal instead of the usual meat or fish set meals. However, I felt a bit disappointed because the set meal was priced at the minimum of 990 yen, and adding the salad bar made it seem a bit pricey. I didn't opt for the drink bar as I was short on time. The salad bar offered 13 different items including lettuce, paprika, watercress, red onions, boiled mushrooms, corn, seaweed, purple cabbage, carrots, zucchini, bean sprouts, edamame, and broccoli. The lettuce was fresh, but the carrots were a bit dry. The broccoli was overcooked and the corn seemed to be from a can. Unfortunately, the dressings available were all standard pre-made dressings like Caesar, Southern, Italian, and Yuzu, lacking a homemade touch. I ended up using salt, vinegar, and olive oil that were provided, but surprisingly there was no pepper, only shichimi. The salad bar also had fruits like melon, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and banana, as well as coffee jelly for dessert. On the miso soup side, there were two types of pickles, cabbage miso soup, and a potato carrot corn soup. The miso soup lacked ingredients and flavor, while the soup lacked depth. The pickles seemed to be artificial with excessive coloring. The main dish was disappointing as well. The deep-fried tofu looked unappetizingly brown and was topped with lotus root and mushroom stew that wasn't very tasty. Perhaps something like fried chicken would have been a safer option. For rice, you could choose between white rice, mixed grain rice, and plum seaweed rice. I opted for the mixed grain rice in a regular portion. Overall, I felt that the price was high considering the taste, and it was truly disappointing. The restaurant had a vibe similar to a chain store.
