狸ののぐり
After the end of the self-restraint due to the coronavirus, we had our first meal out at RASORA for lunch after shopping. We went to "料理屋K" near Aeon in East Sapporo. It was Sunday at 11:50 am, with four customers already seated and one customer behind us. The owner, who was the only staff, informed us in advance that it would take some time due to being busy, and we agreed. We were seated at a table for four and ordered when the owner was available. We ordered two Sushi Gozen sets with twelve pieces each for 2500 yen (limited to six servings) and a draft beer for 650 yen. The Sushi Gozen was sold out for us, but we were able to get the beer, which was Asahi Super Dry in a frothy glass. It was a hot day, and it had been a while since we had beer at a restaurant, so it tasted amazing. We finished the first beer in the 30 minutes it took for the food to arrive, so we ordered another beer when the sushi came. The Gozen set was packed with various items in addition to sushi, and the plates were lovely, which lifted our spirits. The main sushi included bluefin tuna, Akashi sea bream, Japanese sea bass, Alfonsino, Japanese Spanish mackerel, sesame mackerel, squid, scallop, sweet shrimp, sea urchin, and eel (served separately). The Edo-style sushi rice was lightly seasoned, and the fish slices were thick. The rolled omelet had the restaurant's logo branded on it. The pickled ginger had a mild sweetness and a hint of spiciness, which we liked. The warabi fern simmered dish was a nice palate cleanser. The miso soup contained shrimp heads, at least two types of fish scraps, firm whitefish milt, and fish roe. Even the bone-in bowl was charming. We spent 1 hour at the restaurant and paid a total of 6300 yen for two people. It was a delightful experience at "料理屋K," with delicious food and beautiful presentation. And, I realized that my food photography skills had deteriorated since I last took pictures, oops!
