Located in Oi-machi, here at MICHI fish&oyster, we enjoyed delicious oysters! For oyster lovers, this place offers a wide variety of oyster dishes. The oysters displayed in the restaurant are truly impressive and get you excited! We toasted with a Salty Lemon Sour. The oyster pate was rich and flavorful, while the smoked oysters in oil were also very tasty! We also tried the special Oyster Shot, which surprisingly had a whole oyster in it. It was easy to drink with a hint of tomato and lemon. The assorted fresh oysters platter is a must-try! They offer a variety of sauces like yuzu pepper ponzu, basil sauce, and classic lemon, making it hard to choose. From refreshing to rich oyster flavors, we were completely satisfied with the variety. Overall, the restaurant has a stylish blue-themed interior, making it a great choice for a date. Thank you for the delicious meal!

- Corn mousse as a welcome dish: The corn mousse was incredibly fluffy and had a rich creaminess to it. It reminded me of a corn soup in mousse form, and it was delicious. I got so excited because I love welcome dishes so much. - Uni panna cotta: This dessert is just unfair with how good it looks. And it tastes amazing too! It's a rich and smooth panna cotta that's not too sweet, but has a fantastic milkiness to it. And the uni and salmon roe on top are just next level. Highly recommend this when you visit, it's a must-try! - Ultimate uni crostini: This roasted beef with uni and the sweetness of the sea urchin is irresistible. It's topped with truffle salt, which adds even more aroma and flavor. One piece is not enough, I want to have like 5 at once, but... if I do that, I might get punished and die, haha. - Steamed oysters in a pot: It reminds me of the excitement of grilling oysters. When you steam them, the flavor intensifies all at once. The thrill of cracking open the shells and finding a big one is another level of excitement. It's a generous portion with a satisfying amount. - Assorted raw oysters: Raw oysters are still my favorite. The texture and shine of the oysters are just perfect. I think my lack of vocabulary doesn't do justice to how plump and shiny they are. Oysters from Kesennuma are as big as my hand and the taste varies depending on the origin, so it's fun to explore your preferences. - Oyster gratin: Full of cheese, full of oysters, what's not to love about this combination? It's a one-bite delight with lots of cheese. - Uni cream pasta: They really know how to make a good cream sauce here. The flavor of sea urchin and saltiness paired with the richness of the cream is incredibly delicious. I want to make this at home and eat it. The thinner pasta strands really cling well to the cream sauce. - Salmon and salmon roe garlic fried rice: Despite being garlic-flavored, it's not overpowering with garlic. The balance of seasoning is really well done. Seafood tends to be salty by nature, but they really nailed the saltiness here. The aroma and texture show how much thought they put into it.

This is my first visit to MICHI in Oimachi. They offer 4 types of raw oysters to choose from, and I chose the ones from Akkeshi, which I really liked. The porcini omelette was delicious! The truffle oil potato fries were also tasty! The oyster ajillo was outstanding! Thank you for the delicious meal! #OimachiGourmet

Last night's dinner was at MICHI FISH&OYSTER in Oimachi! I had been seeing reviews of this restaurant on Instagram for a few days, and then on the train back from Takasaki, I happened to come across a video where someone was introducing this place and the kelp forest oysters looked really delicious, so I couldn't help but be curious. I mentioned it to my partner, and he said, "Let's go?" The last time my partner said oysters were delicious was when he tried the kelp forest oysters, before that he couldn't eat oysters because of the appearance, so I'm grateful to the kelp forest oysters. Delicious food is even more enjoyable when shared with someone who can appreciate it, making it even tastier. So we made the expedition to Oimachi, arriving at 19:00 for our 19:30 reservation. We were a bit early, so we took a short stroll to enjoy the nightlife of Oimachi. Walking through narrow alleys that seemed frozen in time since the Showa era, we discovered many interesting shops. This area seems like it would be fun to explore next time. MICHI FISH&OYSTER has a bright atmosphere along the street, quite different from the vibe of the shops in the alleys. Our order ⭐︎ Kachiwari Sparkling & appetizer: Corn mousse ⭐︎ Blissful Uni Panna Cotta ⭐︎ Fig butter ⭐︎ Assorted fresh oysters - Kombu Mori, Akkeshi, Murotsu, Ooirijima, Naruto ⭐︎ Fresh oysters Kombu Mori (extra order) ⭐︎ Ultimate Uni Cuc ⭐︎ Wasa potato salad with salted fish roe ⭐︎ Shrimp and mushroom ajillo ⭐︎ Sake - Kaze no Mori ALPHA1 Door to the next chapter Unfiltered, undiluted sake Junmai 70% Akitsuho Gojo City, Nara Prefecture Aburacho Sake Brewery ⭐︎ White wine - FOUNDSTONE CHARDONNAY 2022 When our order arrived, we ordered the assorted fresh oysters along with the first drink, Kachiwari Sparkling, and the appetizer of corn mousse was very delicious. The Blissful Uni Panna Cotta was a small panna cotta with a salty taste stuffed inside a small sea urchin shell, topped with sea urchin and small soy sauce-flavored salmon roe. The balance of flavors was excellent, very delicious, and interesting. Before we knew it, the fresh oysters arrived! They were all delicious, but the Kombu Mori and Akkeshi were incredibly creamy and extremely delicious. We couldn't resist ordering more Kombu Mori oysters. The oysters come with lemon, and on the table, there are soy sauce and Tabasco, as well as free sauces like Cho-jang, Yuzu pepper ponzu, sesame oil and Ogasawara salt, basil sauce, Nam pla and green chili, red wine vinegar, etc., allowing for various ways to enjoy them, which was a delight. The Ultimate Uni Cuc is topped with uni on roast beef, and the roast beef sauce itself is very delicious, making it easy to eat in one bite. There were many other fresh seafood dishes from Toyosu that I wanted to try, but we decided to stop here for today. Maybe it was because we got tipsy early, but it was delicious again yesterday! Thank you for the meal!! #dinner #oysters #freshoysters #oyster #oysters #kelpforest #Akkeshi #sake #uni #seaurchin #ajillo #Tokyo #Oimachi #Shinagawa #Takasaki #restaurant

I love fresh oysters, so I feel lucky to be able to eat them at this time of year. They are creamy and easy to swallow, and each oyster from different regions is large and satisfying to eat. Besides the oysters, all the other dishes were delicious as well - corn mousse, sea urchin and salmon roe panna cotta, oyster pate, salty potatoes, 6 types of oysters, bouillabaisse, and oyster fritters. Even the ones I tried for the first time were delicious, and I want to eat them all again. The bouillabaisse had large shrimp and mussels, with a strong seafood flavor that was really delicious. The corn mousse was sweet and gentle, while the sea urchin and salmon roe panna cotta had a perfect balance of sweet uni and salty salmon roe. The oyster pate had a rich oyster flavor and paired perfectly with French bread. The oyster fritters were creamy, and the crispy onions added a nice texture. The salty potato mash was also really delicious, even though it was my first time trying it. Overall, everything was delicious and I would love to come back. The restaurant is conveniently located about 2 minutes from the station, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a comfortable place to dine.

This is a stylish street shop! It's just a straight walk from JR Oimachi Station, about 2 minutes away! It's easy to find and that's great ♬ The exterior is lovely, and the interior is also very stylish! There are plenty of table seats, so it's a space where you can chat comfortably. The restroom was clean, which was nice! And the oysters ♡ were so delicious! They served oysters from various regions on one plate. I was surprised by the different sizes depending on the region! They were so tasty ♡ The potato salad had salted squid on top. It was my first time trying it, and it was really delicious! The corn mousse they served as a starter was also incredibly tasty. It had a gentle flavor. And the incredibly luxurious dish ♬ was the sea urchin and salmon roe panna cotta ♡ The richness of the sea urchin paired perfectly with the panna cotta! The popping texture of the salmon roe was also irresistible ♡ The oyster pate spread on the baguette was also very delicious ♡ The oyster fritters were mayo-based, with onions also fried in them, and they were incredibly tasty! Even though they were fried, they had a refreshing taste ♡ Finally, the bouillabaisse was so comforting and delicious. Of course, the seafood ingredients like shrimp were very large and satisfying ♡ It was a happy time ♬

If you want to eat fresh oysters, this is the place to go! Especially on Sundays, it's cheap and delicious! There are plenty of options available, so even if someone in your group can't eat oysters, it's not a problem. I forgot to take a photo, but the roast beef is also amazing! A place you'll want to visit over and over again. Perfect for a girls' night out or a date!

I wanted to eat oysters so I went all the way to Oi-cho, but the dishes other than oysters were so delicious that I was impressed! They always have about 5 types of fresh oysters available, including Pacific and rock oysters, so you can compare and enjoy them. I tried the Hokkaido kombu-grown oysters and the "Oi-cho Oyster" from Oita's Oi-cho, and the kombu-grown oysters were firm, rich, and creamy, while the Oi-cho Oysters were small but juicy and full of flavor, satisfying with just one bite. The amazing complimentary corn cream dish was fluffy, creamy, and the sweetness of the corn was gentle and comforting. The sea urchin panna cotta with plenty of salmon roe was luxurious, with a salty and creamy panna cotta complemented by the sea urchin and salmon roe, creating a heavenly experience in your mouth. The daily sashimi platter from Toyosu Market included salmon, yellowtail, sea bream, octopus, and sea urchin, and I was particularly happy to see yellowtail as it's not often found at restaurants. Each fish was fresh, firm, sweet, and delicious. I love fried potatoes, so I couldn't resist ordering them, and I chose the truffle flavor. The balance of salt and truffle flavor was perfect, making it irresistible. I couldn't stop eating and almost ordered a second serving. The garlic fried rice with salmon and salmon roe was sweet with plenty of salmon fat, and the generous amount of pepper added a nice kick. The sea urchin cream pasta was already delicious with its rich cream, but the sweet sea urchin made it even more flavorful. Lastly, I ordered the fig butter as a dessert, which was sweet and meltingly delicious. Everything I tried was delicious, and there were so many more dishes I wanted to try, so I definitely want to come back. I don't drink alcohol, but wine is only 650 yen per glass, making it a great deal for wine lovers.

I had some delicious oysters in Oimachi - creamy and they even had rock oysters! I ordered the bouillabaisse and it came with risotto at the end, a perfect combination! The restaurant is a short walk from Oimachi Station. It was almost full when I went! The service was a bit slow, maybe because it was a new staff member? -------------------------------------------------- Thank you for reading the review. I hope it inspires you to try some delicious food! Your likes and comments are really motivating! --------------------------------------------------

Access is decent, about a 7-minute walk from Oimachi Station. Visited because they serve oysters! Despite ordering a salad and oyster platter first, they never came. I thought they might be busy, but later when the roast beef and aioli came, I checked and they hadn't taken the order. It happened twice in one day, making me feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the food was delicious, and being able to turn the leftovers into risotto was a nice touch!

Located in Oi-machi, "MICHI FISH&OYSTER" is a seafood bar where you can enjoy fresh fish and oysters directly delivered from Toyosu Market. The interior of the restaurant is bright and casual, perfect for dates or girls' night out. They offer a variety of oyster dishes such as raw oysters, steamed oysters, grilled oysters, and oyster fry. In addition to oysters, they also have a wide selection of dishes made with fresh seafood. The oyster fry, which I didn't try this time, is highly rated online for its crispy coating and juicy oysters. Surprisingly, they also serve delicious roast beef made with high-quality meat. Overall, the prices are reasonable, making it easy to enjoy fresh seafood. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to casually savor fresh seafood. Today's meal included corn potage mousse as a complimentary appetizer, heavenly sea urchin panna cotta, homemade oyster pate, a platter of four different kinds of oysters, the ultimate roast beef, and a white wine-steamed trio of clams with incredibly tasty soup.

Good friends and I went bar hopping in Oimachi town♡ Our first stop was at "MICHI FISH&OYSTER". It's about a 5-minute walk from Oimachi station. I used to think of Oimachi as having a lot of random shops, but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this place. It's so cute!!! The interior design, with a blue theme, is very stylish and cute. Women will definitely love it. We ordered a la carte. ~Order details~ ◆ 4 types of fresh oysters ・ Ishinomaki ¥350 ・ Kamaishi ¥350 ・ Akkeshi ¥350 ・ Kashima ¥550 On Sundays, it seems like oysters are cheaper! Lucky us! We ordered one of each type. I chose Kashima and Kamaishi♡ They provide 6 different sauces for free to go with the oysters! My favorites are fish sauce & green chili and red wine vinegar (˶ ' ᵕ ' ˶) ◆ Oyster Gratin ¥380 ◆ Oyster with Saikyo Miso Mayo Grilled ¥380 I went with the grilled oysters. I chose the miso mayo! I recently found a stylish oyster bar in Oimachi that I often visit. I ordered the following items: - Assorted 6 types of fresh oysters for ¥3,980 - Heavenly Uni Panna Cotta for ¥580 - Special Ahijo with oysters, octopus, and bacon for ¥1,200 - Bouillabaisse with seafood for ¥1,380 / Risotto for ¥440 I went for a day drink on a holiday. They open at 2:00 PM on holidays, which is great. I started with a sparkling wine for a toast. I wanted to eat a lot of oysters, so I ordered the assorted platter. Squeezing plenty of lemon on them is the best way to enjoy them! The oysters were delicious, but I also highly recommend the Bouillabaisse. They can turn the soup into risotto, so you should definitely try that too.

I had a great time with friends at a popular restaurant near Oimachi Station that serves delicious seafood and wine. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch while drinking beer and sangria. We started with a platter of fresh oysters which were large and satisfying. The oyster fry and oyster gratin were also must-try dishes. The fig butter and corn cheese fritters were delicious adult snacks. The salad with kettle-cooked whitebait and lettuce was a refreshing combination. The uni panna cotta served in a sea urchin shell was a visually stunning and flavorful dessert. The creamy uni pasta was a rich and satisfying dish. Overall, the seafood dishes at this stylish restaurant were all delicious and I highly recommend it for a fun time with friends or a romantic date. Their course menu with a drink all-you-can option for ¥1,000 is also a great deal.

Visit Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ - "Fresh Oyster Trio" (2,400 yen) - "Heavenly Uni Panna Cotta" (580 yen) - "Rich Seafood Bouillabaisse" (1,380 yen) - "Rare Fried Shrimp Roe" (680 yen) - "Grilled Chikuwa with Gorgonzola Cream Cheese" (780 yen) - "Grilled Oysters" (300 yen) - "Oyster with Saikyo Miso Mayo" (380 yen) - "Blue Salt Ice Cream" (400 yen) - "Appetizer" (350 yen) Recommendation Points: - For those who love seafood (especially oysters) - For those who enjoy wine pairings - For those looking for a casual izakaya near Oimachi Station It feels like summer with the end of the rainy season, right? When it goes above 35 degrees, it's just hot, no sense of cold at all, that's me. I absolutely love fresh oysters, so I always make sure to visit an oyster bar every year, but this time I went to a restaurant where you can enjoy seafood and wine pairings! Located a 5-minute walk from Oimachi Station, "MICHI" had people enjoying drinks after work and solo female drinkers here and there. It was almost full, so I'm glad I made a reservation. The restaurant displays a variety of daily oysters! You can't see the cooking process, but seeing the oysters up close just increases your cravings. The appetizer was "Corn Mousse," which seems to change frequently! It had a cheesy aroma that was irresistible. A must-try is the "Fresh Oyster Trio" with oysters from Kamaishi, Maizuru, and Oura on this day. The great thing about MICHI is that all 6 types of oyster sauces are free! I tried various ones, and the Yuzu Pepper Ponzu was the most delicious. Each oyster had a different creaminess, juiciness, and texture, making each bite more enjoyable with wine. Personally, Maizuru was the richest and had the concentrated umami flavor unique to oysters! Other options like grilled, pate, mayo, etc., are around 300 yen each, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. If you're worried about having them raw, you can freely choose to have them grilled, fried, or steamed. The "Heavenly Uni Panna Cotta" is similar to the appetizer with a mousse at the bottom, perfect for when you want just a bit of sea urchin. The "Rich Seafood Bouillabaisse" has mussels, shrimp, and clams generously mixed in. After finishing it, you can turn it into a risotto with the soup, a luxurious touch ❤️. The "Rare Fried Shrimp Roe" was a unique idea of frying shrimp roe, changing its crispy texture to a moist one, very interesting! Even without any sauce, it was delicious. The "Grilled Chikuwa with Gorgonzola Cream Cheese" is a must-try for all cheese lovers! If you're looking for a dish that fills you up, definitely order this. The Uni Panna Cotta and Bouillabaisse seemed to be quite popular as the person sitting next to me was also enjoying them! This place has become my absolute favorite. I want to come back again since my friend lives in Oimachi!

Gorgonzola cream cheese bake - 780 yen Fish and chips - 880 yen Sea urchin cream pasta - 1,480 yen Sea urchin panna cotta - 580 yen Highball - 530 yen Know before you go: - A seafood bar located in the back of Oimachi Station shopping street. Popular for oysters, sea urchin, and fresh fish! The food was delicious, showing attention to detail in cooking. - A stylish and trendy seafood bar different from the usual shopping street, where I enjoyed the combination of alcohol and seafood. Recommended for: - Dates near Oimachi - Seafood lovers! Especially those who love oysters - Those who want to enjoy both alcohol and food at a stylish bar Located in Oimachi, a town where residential areas, offices, and bustling streets coexist, this place is known for its overwhelming stylishness, appealing even to fashionable women who use it for girls' nights out. Two men visited this time to enjoy seafood, with oysters being a highlight. They select oysters from various regions like Kesennuma and Shizugawa. They ordered three types to compare, all fresh and delicious! A personal favorite was the sea urchin cream pasta. It was a great choice for the final dish, with thin pasta cooked al dente, rich and flavorful cream, topped with plenty of sea urchin. It was very satisfying! Other menu items like Gorgonzola cream sauce and sea urchin panna cotta also had a good cost-performance ratio, making it easy to order confidently on dates, etc. This stylish bar offers delicious food and a fun time, making it a place to remember and revisit. The tasty dishes and bright, cheerful service left me feeling very happy and relaxed!

Located just a 2-minute walk from Oimachi, this seafood bar offers fresh fish delivered directly from Toyosu Market and locally sourced oysters. The menu includes delights such as Uni Panna Cotta, daily Carpaccio, assorted fresh oysters, Salmon Fish & Chips, Grilled Cheese with Chikuwa Gorgonzola Cream, Uni Cream Pasta, and Blue Salt Ice Cream. Not only do they offer a variety of dishes made with fresh seafood, but they also have an oyster bar where you can enjoy oysters from all over Japan. The high-quality oysters are creamy and delicious, perfect for comparing different varieties. The Uni Cream Pasta, with its rich combination of uni and cream, was unexpectedly delicious. They also have a selection of wines, focusing on white wines that pair well with the food, as well as sparkling, rosé, and red wines. With around 30 types of wine available at all times, it's a great place for wine lovers as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had a girls' night out with friends I hadn't seen in a while at a seafood restaurant. The menu included a variety of dishes such as a platter of 3 types of fresh oysters, a delicious uni panna cotta, camembert and asparagus ajillo, salad with boiled whitebait and lettuce, and a white wine steamed shellfish dish. The oysters were surprisingly large and delicious, and there were also various sauces available for flavor variations. The uni panna cotta was a delightful treat, and the white wine steamed shellfish dish was a luxurious combination of mussels, clams, and other shellfish. The restaurant had a beautiful setting with oysters displayed outside, and a wide selection of drinks including wine, cocktails, and tea cocktails. The corn mousse appetizer was refreshing, and overall, it was a great dining experience at this seafood bar. I highly recommend trying it out!
