Nikka Ojisan at Susukino Station is located on the 2nd floor of the building across the street. I made a reservation over the phone a few days ago. I was able to reserve a private room for two people (maybe because it was before the rush hours). The room was like a table for 8 people, with a sliding door, really a private room, and I felt sorry for just the two of us...
I arrived around 4 pm on a Monday, and the place was still empty. But when we left, there were customers coming in and out, but the spacious layout of the restaurant made the situation unclear. Credit card payment is accepted.
I hadn't been on a plane for years, so I wanted to have seafood in Hokkaido! After much consideration, I decided on this place with a colorful Hokkaido menu. The sashimi, grilled dishes, and fried dishes were all very well done, but the ratings on Tabelog were not particularly high or low... I realized that Doshanko must be eating good stuff too.

Jagabata! Since there were two of us, they divided it in half and gave us two plates with butter. Charcoal-grilled maybe? The crispy, fragrant taste from the direct fire like an irori! It was sweet, crispy, and delicious, even though we only had half. I was completely satisfied with being punched by Hokkaido!

It's really big lol. As rumored. Even half was a lot for two people. And the fat was so good that you could drink it. Good fat is drinkable! It's fish, so there's no guilt, right? The flesh was moist and juicy, and the skin was perfectly crispy! Besides the fluffy and juicy flesh, I really enjoyed the crispy parts like the back and tail, or the back of the skin. I love burnt things, so I really enjoyed them. Not too salty, and the direct fire grilling was irresistible. I wanted to try two types of Atka Mackerel. Another menu that made me very happy to be punched by Hokkaido.

It's juicy and meaty. It's chicken, but it's meaty. And the frying oil is good. It's like, the rough oil flavor that you can only get at a restaurant, with a rich oil taste. The fat is delicious. It was delicious, but I got a little tired of it halfway through... so I took it home lol.

A small pot with cabbage, bean sprouts, salmon slices, and shirako on top. Sweet miso. It takes a little time to cook with the solid fuel that you would find in a ryokan... so it takes a while. It was hot and delicious! ...but it was quite salty! I don't need any more rice! ...I ordered in the wrong order. I later found out that Hokkaido's seasoning is strong, and this was exactly that.
