The restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as mixed sashimi for two, dashimaki tamago, seaweed tofu, fried new potatoes, Me-hikari fried chicken, corn fritters, fried eggplant with grated yam, grilled salmon, grilled pork belly, pickled mustard greens fried rice, and crab soup. Each dish is priced at 390 yen excluding tax, making it easy for one person to enjoy a meal there.

I usually went to Uogashi Kin on the other side of the Gotanda Line, but this time I went to Tomin Sakaba Uogashi Kin for the first time. The characteristic here is that the volume of the dishes is modest and the prices are reasonable, so even with a small group, you can eat a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. The assorted three types of tuna and the salt-grilled yellowtail collar were both delicious with a powerful taste despite the modest volume and reasonable price. The famous seaweed tofu and rolled omelet, served in compact dishes, were equally delicious with a similar volume. I forgot to take a picture of the 1-cup rice dish, which was incredibly delicious as a finale. With standard menu items like chicken and salmon butter rice dishes, as well as seasonal recommendations, you can enjoy your favorite dishes repeatedly. The only drawback is that there is no cell phone reception in some seats due to being underground. I will definitely visit again!

I received two types of clay pots and both were delicious, so I ate them right away! The grilled clams were also tasty. The sashimi assortment was thickly sliced and very delicious. The room was a private room, so it was easy to talk and it was good.

I used this place for a company drinking party the other day! I always thought Uogashi was a bit expensive, but this place is cheap so I was excited ^_^ The taste is good, but the seat we were guided to was on the second floor? Or like a half second floor? It was a tatami-style room, but the atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable... Also, the beer glasses were too small lol I think I'd prefer a regular Uogashi after all.

I have been to other locations of Uokin many times, but this was my first visit to the Gotanda branch. The prices here are more reasonable than at other locations, and the delicious fish is consistently good as always! The photo is of the Uokin specialty assortment for two people. One thing to note is that this is an underground restaurant, so it's rare these days that there is no cell phone signal and there is no free Wi-Fi. The prices are lower, so there are more menu items that you can order little by little. Compared to other Uokin locations, it may be easier for one person to come here due to the portion sizes.

The restaurant is conveniently located near the station and offers good value for money. However, the loft seats have low ceilings, which may be challenging for larger individuals or those with limited leg mobility. It is recommended to reserve one of the few table seats in advance. The dishes were all delicious, especially the assorted sashimi which was a standout. I suggest ordering only your favorite items. The tempura burdock root and ham cutlet were excellent, with the burdock root being crispy and sweet, paired perfectly with black salt. The ham cutlet was made with thick slices of pork ham and a light crispy coating, served hot with a nostalgic sauce. The grilled salmon was exceptionally tasty, with a crispy skin and juicy flesh, full of flavorful fat. While only glass-sized beers were available, the variety of sake, especially the dry options, was a pleasant surprise. The food and drinks were served quickly after ordering, and the staff were attentive and provided good service. Thank you for a great experience.

I called ahead and visited right before the weekend. In the past, it was so popular that you couldn't even make a same-day reservation, but I wonder if the popularity of Uokin has calmed down a bit. Most dishes are priced at 429 yen, but the portions are small and I was surprised by how tiny the beer glass was! It was like a small beer glass. It might be good for people who want to try a little bit of everything, but in the end, I think the cost performance is not great. I remember when Uokin used to serve dishes on large plates generously, which was lively and had a good atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

There wasn't a cheap seafood izakaya like this in the neighborhood, so it was great. When you go down the stairs, you can smell the fish market. There are plenty of grilled dishes and seasonal menus, so I would like to go again. Especially, the fried blowfish was of high quality.

Located near Gotanda Station, this is a budget-friendly pub version of the Uokin group, where almost everything is around 390 yen. You can enjoy high-quality fish and dishes at a low price. We ordered a sashimi platter for 880 yen for 2 people to share among 3 of us. We also had potato salad, bitter melon stir-fry, umesu jelly, mefun (a type of fish), and corn tempura. The alcohol is also mostly 390 yen. The sashimi, typical of Uokin's quality, was excellent - the medium fatty tuna was delicious, and the large fresh oysters with ponzu jelly were outstanding. When you come to Uokin, you definitely have to try their sashimi.

It's a popular izakaya chain called Uokin. I'm not sure about the differences compared to others, but you can enjoy reasonably tasty fish and typical izakaya dishes. However, it was uncomfortable when they asked us to pay at 10 pm because they close at 11 pm.

I made a reservation the day before and visited. Most dishes were reasonably priced at 390 yen, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was not cheap, giving off a slightly upscale izakaya feel. I was a bit worried that it might be too good to be true, but the food was delicious and satisfying. I don't like sashimi that is too cold, so I appreciated that it was served at the right temperature. I forgot to take a photo, but the kama-meshi we ordered at the end was also delicious! It's a great place where you can casually enjoy delicious fish. Highly recommended!

This was a shop I used to frequent in Shinbashi, but they have started opening up in Gotanda as well and this place seems more affordable. It says 390 yen, but not everything is that price. Some items are smaller, like the blue tofu. The service was very polite, even when I forgot something, which made me feel good. The taste is great because it's Uogashi, so it's delicious. There were also many solo diners. I would like to go back again.

I felt like having some light Japanese food, so I ended up at the Izakaya Uokin. It's convenient for dining alone when you want something light. It was a busy Friday night and most places were full. Luckily, I managed to get the last seat at the counter. Here's what I ordered:
- Draft beer x2
- 2 types of sake
- Lemon sour
- Complimentary appetizer: Daikon radish salad
- Assorted sashimi for ¥800
- Grilled tuna collar for ¥780
- Shumai dumplings for ¥390
- Ham cutlet for ¥480
- Fried oysters for ¥590
- Sushi (3 pieces) for ¥390
Total came to ¥6000. I ended up ordering quite a bit. The ham cutlet and fried oysters were particularly good. The sushi pieces were a normal size. It's great that they offer single portions for solo diners, but the grilled tuna collar was a bit too much for one person. Overall, it's a fish-focused Izakaya that is easy to visit alone.

Tokyoite Izakaya Uokin / Uokin offers a sense of security and stable quality at 390 yen each. Although the portions are small, you can enjoy a wide variety, making it cost-effective.

I felt like eating fish and found this place. It's really cheap. Despite being cheap, the sashimi is thickly sliced and delicious. The staff are polite, and the service is fast. It seems like a place where people of all ages come, not just young people.

Fish Kin's new form, "Tokyo Citizen Izakaya Fish Kin," offers almost all items for ¥390, which is quite surprising. Drinks include beer, highball, chuhai, shochu, glass of wine, and over 10 types of sake. The food menu is also mostly around ¥390, which is a great deal. Even though the portions may be small, it's convenient for dining alone. The reviewer ordered the following items: Assorted sashimi ¥880, White shrimp tempura ¥480, Blowfish Karaage ¥690, and other items all priced at ¥390. In total, they had 2 draft beers, 2 sakes, 2 shochus, 3 pieces of assorted sushi, homemade shumai, grilled oysters, rice with whitebait, and fish broth, totaling ¥6657. The assorted sashimi was impressive with 8 different types, and the assorted sushi was also of good quality. Overall, the reviewer found the cost reasonable for the variety and quantity of food and drinks they enjoyed dining alone. The reviewer recommends visiting early due to the restaurant's popularity and constant full capacity.

We visited the restaurant around 20:30 without a reservation and managed to get a table on the second floor. The restaurant mainly offers dishes for 390 yen each, and we ordered a plate of sashimi, grilled mackerel, edamame with anchovies, fried blowfish, fried gizzard, tofu with seaweed, and salmon rice cooked in a pot. Overall, the cost performance was good, especially the sashimi at this price point was excellent. However, there were quite a few items that were sold out, possibly due to the late hour. Despite that, the restaurant seemed quite busy, so it couldn't be helped. We would like to visit this place again.

I visited the popular fish restaurant chain, Uogane, in Tokyo. The concept of the restaurant has changed, and now everything is priced at almost 390 yen. Not only drinks, but also sashimi, grilled fish, and meat dishes are all 390 yen, making it extremely cost-effective. I ordered yellowtail sashimi, assorted sashimi, grilled saury, live oysters, tempura, and more. I was surprised by the quality and taste that didn't seem like they would only cost 390 yen. The atmosphere is dimly lit but cozy, and it quickly became my favorite izakaya after just one visit.

Visited at night. The location is in the basement of a building along Sony Street, just past Tokyu Store on the east side of Gotanda Station. The radio waves barely reach... But the amazing feature of this place is that most of the menu items are 390 yen!! This is fantastic!! haha. Being able to enjoy the quality of Uogin for 390 yen is quite appealing, I think. Here are my thoughts on the menu items I ordered: 1) Seaweed Tofu 390 yen - This is like the representative dish of Uogin. It's cheap, but the "aosa" here doesn't have that weird sea smell and tastes delicious. The flavor is enhanced by the rich taste of seaweed adding depth to the tofu with a flavorful broth, making it delicious!! It also warms up your body when served hot and your body is cold. 2) Grilled Dried Squid 390 yen - The squid is properly dried and has a dried squid-like texture. It goes well with mayonnaise and has a strong salty flavor that goes well with alcohol. Furthermore, Hoppy, Lemon Sour, Shochu, and even the table charge are all 390 yen, making it quite easy to calculate. By the way, in the past... when I used to go drinking in college, we used to search around Yotsuya Station for various drinking places, and I was grateful for such cost-effective and delicious restaurants. The pressure of making reservations for a delicious, cheap, and easy-to-calculate restaurant from my seniors was intense... I wonder how much easier it would have been if we could check on Tabelog with our smartphones back then?? If I had found a restaurant like Uogin, I would have been a hero for sure!!! haha. Basically, the person who was good at organizing drinking parties became the head of the club. (Looking back, the club was terrible www) So, this restaurant had a proper level of "Uogin" for the meal, it was about 1,500 yen per person, and in terms of cost performance, it would be a very convenient izakaya near university or work. Recommended!!
