Visited for the first time on the morning of the third day of the New Year. I went to the famous cafes in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. Long black for 510 yen, Rocky Road for 350 yen. The interior of the cafe was filled with young, fashionable, and cool people. I felt a bit out of place, but I wanted to enjoy it in my own style. The long black was different from what I imagined, in a good way. It was like espresso with hot water added to taste, and it was delicious. I enjoyed the richness of the flavor. Each time I added hot water, I could savor different tastes. It might become my favorite. The Rocky Road, with chocolate coating over nuts, went well with the espresso. Just as I had hoped. The young staff were very professional. They clearly love their job. Amazing! Thank you for the meal. I want to come back again and share the goodness with others.

I was lucky to be seated on the second floor without having to wait. I was with my pet, but the staff greeted us warmly. The pet-friendly ratio seemed low on the second floor. The food was delicious and satisfying. I will definitely come back again.

I stopped by after visiting the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT). It was just past lunchtime and the restaurant was almost full, but I was able to get a seat right away. The atmosphere was nice and the coffee was delicious. I ordered the ricotta cheese pancakes and a flat white with an extra shot.

I arrived at the store around 3 pm on Saturday. The place was almost full, but there was a little space available on the second floor so I was able to get in without waiting. The exterior and interior of the cafe were stylish. I ordered a cafe latte, and the coffee had a rich and deep flavor, it was very delicious. Ordering and paying online made the whole process very efficient, and I could just leave without any hassle.

I visited the café and ordered a cake and a muffin. The pancakes and toast items also looked appealing, so I would like to come back for lunch next time. The latte art was cute, and all the cakes I ordered were delicious! I recommend the second picture, the Kiwi pound cake. I don't see it often elsewhere, so I tried it. The white coating on top and the black specks inside the pound cake effectively represented the kiwi fruit, and it was delicious. I'm curious about other sweets and meals, so I want to come back again!

I visited the restaurant in the early afternoon on a regular day. It felt like a nice surprise to find such a lovely place in a residential area. Luckily, I was able to get a seat without waiting, but the place was quite busy. I used my phone to read the menu and place my order. The system was to pay upfront. I ordered a plate with fluffy scrambled eggs topped with salmon and bread for 1350 yen. It was delicious. I regret not being able to order dessert due to time constraints. I would like to visit again.

The menu is extensive. It's great that you can substitute milk with soy milk or oat milk for coffee. The side dishes can be customized to your liking, and they are all delicious. The spacious interior is also a plus for this type of cafe. It's convenient that they open early in the morning, making it easy to go for breakfast.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station, this trendy cafe is a renovated warehouse along the Sumida River. Customers can order by scanning a QR code. Since the last order had already ended and there was only 20 minutes left to use the cafe, I decided to get takeout. I purchased a Kiwi Fruit Pound Cake for 560 yen and an Iced Coffee for 480 yen. The pound cake, with kiwi mixed in, has icing on top. The sweet and sour taste of the kiwi is refreshing even with the icing, not too sweet. There were many other delicious-looking sweets available, with a good portion size and a wide variety including healthy options like gluten-free. I look forward to trying the sweets slowly next time when I can dine in.

I had Eggs Benedict and a bacon, mushroom, and bread dish. Both dishes had a light flavor, and although it was a popular restaurant, I was a bit disappointed considering my high expectations. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was really nice, so if the flavors were a bit stronger, it would have been better. Sorry. Also, the menu overall was on the pricier side. Despite that, I didn't feel full, which was disappointing!

Located in the bustling neighborhood of Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, "iki espresso" is a well-known café that prides itself on its espresso-making skills learned from a top barista in New Zealand. They aim to provide the best coffee, food, and service, all while valuing the local community and seamlessly blending into the neighborhood. Their baked goods and sandwiches are generously sized but slightly on the pricier side. The staff are friendly and helpful, ready to assist you if you're unsure of what to order. One recommended item is the Feijoa Apple Cake, featuring the unique Feijoa fruit from New Zealand. The cake is moist, not too sweet, with a hint of dairy-like acidity. The Feijoa flavor is subtle, offering a refreshing taste that pairs well with coffee.

There was quite a long line outside at 3 pm on the weekend. I opted for takeout and was served quickly. I ordered a cafe latte for 720 yen. The taste was decent, but the price is on the higher side. It's close to the sauna, so I may visit again. There were many couples there.

The drip coffee served in heat-resistant glass was a bit disappointing. The affogato and French toast looked stylish, but the interior design was too loud due to the echoing. Also, there was no Wi-Fi. It seems to be very popular and crowded, so maybe that's just how it is.

清澄白河 has many lovely cafes! You can also get there from Morishita using two train lines, which is convenient. The menu looks delicious, making it hard to choose. I ordered Eggs Benedict, Kiwi Pound Cake, and Breakfast Tea. The Eggs Benedict, a classic choice, was delicious! I opted for salmon and avocado toppings, which was the right decision. The Kiwi Pound Cake was unique! I usually don't like kiwi, but I thought I'd give it a try in cake form, and it was indeed tasty. It was lightly sweet and refreshing. The prices are a bit high, but the open and cozy atmosphere made it worth it.

I visited "iki ESPRESSO TOKYO", located about a 5-minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station.
- Ordered:
- Eggs Benedict with Bacon - 1,620 yen
- Espresso Macchiato - 550 yen
- Lamington Chocolate - 680 yen
The Eggs Benedict had a refreshing yet rich hollandaise sauce, salty bacon, and the richness of the poached egg yolk all blended perfectly. The use of hard bread instead of muffins added a moist texture after soaking up the egg and sauce.
The Lamington, a traditional Austrian cube-shaped treat, was coated in coconut with raspberry sauce between the sponge layers. I was lucky to get the last one!
The Espresso Macchiato had a strong bitterness and acidity, which balanced well with the sweetness of the Lamington.
The interior of the cafe was beautiful, and the staff provided excellent service, making it a very comfortable place to dine. It was delicious, thank you. It was lucky that I didn't have to wait in line, maybe because of the bad weather or the Obon holiday.

I regret choosing a hot cafe mocha on a hot summer day by mistake, but it was delicious! It seems to be a very popular cafe, with a new branch opening nearby. I visited the old branch in between the festivities. I noticed a lot of photos of a rugby player from New Zealand, and it turns out the owner has a connection to NZ. I was captivated by the atmosphere of Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. I found myself browsing the cafe's website until I felt like a hole was burning in my pocket. They were hiring skilled positions like chefs. I may not have any special skills, but I dream of working in a place like this part-time. I am already planning my next visit.

On Saturday afternoon, after having lunch nearby, the four of us visited this place around 3 pm and were able to get in easily. We could chat leisurely. It's important to note that a smartphone is essential for menu browsing, ordering, and payment, so those unfamiliar with it should be cautious. The vegan cake was delicious!

I had Eggs Benedict and a Mocha. The iced mocha had a rich milk flavor, strong coffee aroma, and a hint of chocolate, very delicious. The Eggs Benedict had a tangy sauce and the eggs were perfectly runny, making me feel happy. I visited around 12 PM on Sunday and had to wait for about 45 minutes. It's recommended to take precautions against heatstroke as you have to wait outside.

The atmosphere was nice and pleasant. I arrived around 2 p.m. on Saturday, and it was a busy time, but the cafe was spacious so I only had to wait for about 10 minutes to get in. I ordered a cafe latte, sparkling wine, black sesame tofu pound cake, and matcha pancakes. The drinks were delicious, but the food was average. The pound cake was around 500 yen but quite large, so it was good value for money. It was a bit dry, but surprisingly went well with the cafe latte and ended up being tasty! The pancakes were around 1500 yen and slightly undercooked, which wasn't to my liking. The cafe had an open and inviting atmosphere, making you want to linger. Even though I don't come to this area often, it's a cafe I would like to visit again if I'm in the area.

I finally visited iki espresso in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, which I had been curious about for a while. The interior of the shop was filled with tightly packed two-person tables. The staff's attire was so casual that it was hard to tell who the employees were. We weren't very hungry, so we only ordered one lunch plate, but no one said anything about it.

It was about a 5-minute walk from the station and it was almost full because it was lunchtime! The interior of the restaurant is stylish. The lunch menu is extensive and the dishes that the women around me were eating looked delicious! The almond milk latte yogurt and grapefruit jelly were both delicious! It's suitable for dates or girls' gatherings!

Today's quiche ¥630, banana bread ¥560, iced coffee ¥660. When I went after a long time, it seemed like they had renovated and changed. The coffee also tasted different, maybe a bit more acidic now. Personally, I preferred the previous taste.
