I've been going to the so-called authentic bar in the hotel for over 15 years. I always find solace in the delicious drinks and the hospitality of the staff. All the bartenders throughout the years have been wonderful. The other day, they happened to have a gin fair, so I enjoyed gin from start to finish. For the first drink, I had a Gin Sonic with Spanish gin "Alchemist". It had a nice aroma of muscat and chamomile, and was delicious. While enjoying some appetizers, I had a second gin drink with Scottish gin "Lone Wolf" in a Daiquiri. Although they had original cocktails, I prefer the classics, so I stuck with those. For the last drink, I had a White Lady with English gin "Bathtub Gin". The bottles and labels were all cute, and both the appearance and taste were satisfying. Since there were few customers that day, I had a great time chatting with the bartender about gin. It was a fantastic night, and I will definitely go back.

There was a business dinner in Shinjuku, and before that, I was looking for a bar that opens early for a quick drink. This place came up as a hit. It was still early and there weren't many customers, so I was seated in the middle of the counter. I didn't want a strong drink that would make me drunk before the dinner, so I ordered a Gin Fizz and a Solk Barano. The default gin they use is Bombay Sapphire. They also mentioned that the default gin for a Martini is Bombay Sapphire. Of course, they can make it with various gins if you ask. I was surprised by the very reasonable bill at the end! They have a happy hour every day, so please feel free to enjoy it! Even without the happy hour, it's a great bar.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo's bar on the 3rd floor. The interior has comfortable leather seats. The service is excellent. This time, we ordered cocktails mainly and spent 31,823 yen with 4 people. The cocktails were well thought out and the bartender's explanations were impressive, making it a fun time.

I visited "Au d'vie" located in a luxury hotel facing Shinjuku Central Park. This restaurant was selected as one of the top 100 bars on Tabelog in 2022. It opened in 1980 when the hotel opened as well. It is a 3-minute walk from Tochomae Station on the Toei Oedo Line. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, which stands tall in Shinjuku. The hotel lobby has a high ceiling and a luxurious impression, with a large chandelier welcoming guests. The entrance to the restaurant is in calm brown tones, creating a chic and unified space. The spacious counter seats and stress-free table seats provide a relaxing environment for adults. The leather chairs are designed to envelop the body. I tried the Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri and the original cocktail among the 60 or more cocktails and vintage whiskies available. I spent a quiet and cozy time in the dimly lit, hideaway-like atmosphere. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

This is the main bar at the Hyatt Hotel in Shinjuku. When I visited on a weekday, the hotel itself was relatively quiet, which made me a bit worried. However, as the evening went on, the bar started to get a bit more lively. I ordered a Singapore Sling and a Vodka Dirty Martini because I wanted something strong to finish off with. I decided to try saying the line "Vodka Martini, shaken, not stirred" that you always hear in movies. It seems like this kind of line suits a hotel bar better than a regular bar. Hehehe♡ When asked about my choice of vodka, I could have said Belvedere, but I opted for the bartender's choice, which turned out to be Stolichnaya. Stoli! It's a brand I have a lot of fond memories of, as I used to enjoy drinking it straight from the freezer back in the day. I wasn't too familiar with it as a cocktail base, but the drink wasn't too dirty in taste. However, when the light hit it, the drink had a pearly shimmer, and the olive looked beautifully balanced. I prefer a bit more olive brine, but visually, it was very appealing. It was a simple beauty that suited a hotel bar. I savored the slow, gradual warmth of the alcohol in my body. The comfort of the bar counter was exceptional. There was a super thick, sloping, fluffy armrest in front of the counter. With your hand naturally resting on the armrest, your hand is visible on the counter. It creates a relaxed atmosphere. It's a great bar that embodies the essence of a hotel.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo, located in Nishi-Shinjuku, is a place I rarely visit despite working nearby. I had the opportunity to stop by the main bar, Odví. The timing was perfect for a late lunch and an early finish at work. The bar had a moody and elegant atmosphere, even though it was still bright outside. I started with a Daiquiri to enjoy the contrast of black and white. It was a luxurious first drink in the quiet bar. For my second drink, I asked the bartender for a recommendation. I tried the Dewar's Double Double 21 Year straight. It was incredibly smooth and mellow, a perfect fit for the sophistication of the bar. Before it got too dark, I headed back to Shinjuku Station.

Tonight, I visited the longstanding bar "Eau de Vie". It is located about 5 minutes from Tochomae on the Oedo Line, and you can go up from the underground to the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. The lobby welcomes you with a luxurious chandelier rumored to cost 50 million yen. Every time I visit this place, I feel a sense of excitement, making it a power spot-like hotel. From the lobby, you take the escalator up to the slightly dimly lit interior. Past the tables with heavy leather chairs, you will find the impressive counter. The long counter, which can seat more than 10 people, is accompanied by the unique elbow rests characteristic of this bar, adding to the special atmosphere. We started with a platter of 6 varieties, an original plate, confit of gizzards, and pizza, and enjoyed Nikka 12 years in particular. The chocolate on the original plate was especially delicious, and I look forward to it every time. The atmosphere here enhances the enjoyment of the food and drinks even more. As I felt the comfort of the wind blowing through the high-rise buildings on this late spring night, I made my way home.

This bar is perfect for having great conversations in a special atmosphere! It's a great place for those who want to relax and have a drink at the second bar. However, it closes at 10 pm, so it's recommended for those planning to finish early. Of course, the drinks are delicious! The average cost is between 5,000 and 10,000 yen per person.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo's main bar, which is considered a must-visit for first-timers. I arrived at 5:25 PM, and there were about 10 customers already seated. The bar had a luxurious setting with carpeting and elegant leather armrests at the counter, making it one of the most elegant bars in Tokyo. I ordered a Havana Martini and a Daiquiri. Here are my thoughts: - The bill came to around 4,500 yen, which is reasonable for a hotel bar. - Drinking the same cocktail repeatedly allows you to notice the subtle differences in preparation and flavor by different bartenders. The Havana Martini was particularly impressive in this regard. - I like to observe the bartenders' techniques, so I usually order at least two different types of cocktails. For stirred cocktails, I recommend the Manhattan or Martini, and for shaken cocktails, the Daiquiri or Gimlet. - The Daiquiri was shaken at a unique height, resulting in a pleasing texture with crushed ice floating on top.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo's 3rd floor bar, "Audivie," is an authentic bar with a calm atmosphere like a hidden gem in the city for adults. "Audivie" means "water of life," and it offers a variety of prestigious spirits. You can enjoy a rich selection of whiskies, spirits, and cocktails while sinking into leather-covered chairs at the counter or sofa seats. Despite being surrounded by tall buildings, you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a quiet, adult moment. The Gin & Tonic is made with Beefeater gin and tonic water, allowing you to adjust the alcohol content to your liking. The Jack Rose cocktail, made with apple brandy, lime juice, and grenadine syrup, is a beautiful bright red cocktail with a pleasant apple aroma and moderate sweetness, making it a popular and easy-to-drink choice, especially among women. Service charge 10% Total ¥4840

I visited here on the 3rd floor of the Hyatt. The atmosphere inside is lively with conversations flowing. I ordered the "Nikka Session" and it was served promptly. The drink comes with a large round ice cube floating in it, and it's perfect for sipping and relaxing. The soft leather edge of the counter is very comfortable to lean on.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo in January 2022. Originally planned to have dinner in Omotesando, but had some extra time so decided to have an aperitif at the hotel's "Odvy" bar. Arrived around 5 pm and sat at the counter. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, but this time I only ordered one cocktail and a snack. - Fresh Leonardo cocktail (Moët & Chandon with strawberries) for 2,783 yen - Branch raisins for 968 yen The cocktail was easy to drink with the added sweetness and acidity of the strawberries. The branch raisins were a perfect match with just the right amount of sweetness. I would like to come back next time for a leisurely visit after dinner. Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation for entry until 7:00 PM with a plan from Ikkyu. The plan includes a beef fillet steak sandwich, champagne, and two cocktails for 5,000 yen per person (including service charge, cover charge, and tax). This plan seems like a great deal at a top hotel bar! My friend and I arrived at 7:00 PM. We had reserved a table, but the seating was more spacious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The welcome champagne was Moet & Chandon, light and with a good aroma. The beef fillet steak sandwich was very rare and delicious, with a strong beef flavor. The portion was quite large, and I ended up giving one piece to my friend. I chose a Margarita and a Spritzer for drinks. The Margarita had a very smooth taste. Unfortunately, there were no fruit cocktails available at this price point, which is understandable. We enjoyed our cocktails slowly while chatting, and had a very enjoyable time at a great value. Thank you for the wonderful meal. --- Ratings include not only the taste of the food, but also cost performance, atmosphere, and service. ⭐︎5.0 The best restaurant I've ever been to in that category. Great taste, cost, service, and atmosphere all in one place. ⭐︎4.0 An excellent restaurant in that category. ⭐︎3.5 A place I would visit again if it was nearby. ⭐︎3.0 A decent restaurant, but I might not return if there are other places I'm interested in. ⭐︎2.5 A slightly disappointing experience. ⭐︎2.0 The negatives outweighed the positives. ⭐︎1.0 Regretted going.

I came to aim for Happy Hour. I think it's about the 5th time. The relaxed chairs and armrests at the counter here are the best. The first drink was a Gimlet. I also had dried fruits - strawberries, kiwi, and oranges. The second drink was a Leonardo. It was a cocktail that goes well with dried fruits, and they brought it out for me. I'm so happy with all the strawberries in it. The third drink, which I didn't take a picture of, was probably an Espresso Martini. I had a kiss chocolate with it. It was just the right amount. Thank you for the meal (^ ^)

Located on the west side of Shinjuku Station, this is the main bar of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, situated on the 3rd floor. The lobby's three huge chandeliers still catch your eye. The observation elevator also reminds you of the bubble era. I revisited this place since attending a cocktail party hosted by the Cocktail Communication Society (CCS) during the days of the Century Hyatt. As it is a hotel bar, the doors are open during business hours. Upon entering, it is quite dark and you may feel lost until your eyes adjust. There are table seats in the front with spotlights illuminating them. Towards the back, there are counter seats and a back bar. Cocktails that are meant to be mixed with tonic water allow customers to pour the tonic water themselves and adjust the taste, which is a classical serving method. To use the restroom, you have to exit the bar, and on the shelves in the hallway, you can see bottles that have been kept, including expensive or discontinued ones. It's also a feast for the eyes.

Eau de Vie, located inside the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, is a stylish and upscale restaurant. I recently used their 5000 yen plan which included food and all-you-can-drink. The menu included a platter of hors d'oeuvres, a cheese platter, and the daily meat dish (roast pork). For drinks, we had spritzers, Darjeeling coolers, Shirley Temples, wine, and more. The food, although sourced from elsewhere, was surprisingly delicious. The cocktails were also high-quality and not compromised despite being part of the all-you-can-drink deal. The 5000 yen price for this plan was quite reasonable. I wonder how much it would have cost if we had ordered everything separately. I hope to come back again in the future. Thank you for the meal!

We couldn't decide where to eat in Shinjuku, so we decided to go to a bar first and have some drinks while figuring it out. We ended up at the Hyatt on the 3rd floor. The bar is called Au Revoir. The atmosphere inside was sophisticated and the space was quite spacious. We opted for seats at the counter and I ordered a Gin Buck while my companion had a Gin and Tonic. The default gin was Bombay, which I stuck with as it's a familiar taste. We enjoyed our drinks and conversation before deciding on a place to eat. I ordered a Gimlet for one last drink, my favorite cocktail. It was made out of sight, but I could see the shaking from afar. The cocktail was served in a cocktail glass, and I could tell that the bartender's skill really shines through in such simple cocktails. I'll definitely try a single malt next time I visit.

We were supposed to have a meeting at the Hilton in Shinjuku, but before we knew it, we were at the bar of the Hyatt Regency. It was truly authentic. The bar felt like it belonged to the hotel, and it was really nice. However, we were here for a strategy meeting. We had a strategy meeting here while enjoying drinks and discussing where to have dinner tonight. I started with the classic gin and tonic when we arrived at the bar. I ordered a Victorian Bat, but they didn't have it, so I went with the Tanqueray TEN instead. It was delicious, with a strong lime flavor in the gin and tonic. Then, I remembered the bartender anime that I accidentally saw yesterday. I saw Nicolas Chica in the ending, and for some reason, it stuck with me, so I ordered it. It involves biting into a lemon with sugar, then pouring brandy in all at once. Normally, you would drink it all at once, but I purposely left a little bit and sipped on it during our strategy meeting. It was a fun hour until we decided on the next restaurant. Bars are really great, aren't they? Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I visited on a regular night. The interior of the restaurant was truly extraordinary. The counter had armrests, making it very comfortable. I opted for a plan that included free-flow drinks and a meal, which cost around 5,000 yen. I had about 4 or 5 cocktails, so it was a great deal. Although there is a free-flow drink menu, they can also make drinks that are not on the menu. Thank you for the meal!
