A yakiniku restaurant located in Kumiyama-cho, Kyoto Prefecture. The rating at the time of visit was 3.71, placing it in the top 100 restaurants. This is my second visit, but my first review. It is recommended to drive there as the station is far. The quality of the meat is good and reasonably priced, which I agree with. The side dishes are also delicious. We ordered items such as salted tongue, medium rib, harami, lean meat, tripe, and croquettes, along with kimchi, namul, cold noodles, and soft drinks. The variety of meats is extensive, and there are many seasoning options available such as lemon juice, ponzu sauce, yakiniku sauce, and soy sauce. The restaurant seems confident in their meat quality and encourages customers to try various seasonings. They also advise not to overcook the meat. The texture of the tongue, the tenderness and sweetness of the medium rib, and the skillful cutting and texture of the tripe left a strong impression. I wanted to order more tripe, but I was too full. Among the side dishes, I particularly enjoyed the kimchi and croquettes. The croquette had a thin yet crunchy coating that I had never seen before. When I tried to order three croquettes as indicated on the menu, they suggested that two would be enough based on our group size. Great service. It's impressive to find a restaurant that offers high-quality meat at an affordable price. It was crowded, so making a reservation is recommended.

This is a popular yakiniku restaurant. I had high expectations because I had heard good things about it, but when I visited for the first time, the meat was delicious but not mind-blowing. The atmosphere was a bit noisy with people around. I don't think I would come back again.

I was debating whether to order a course menu, but the staff recommended a platter with tongue, salted harami, and hormone. They were all surprisingly light and not too greasy! So delicious, I lost count of how many times I said that. The homemade vegetables were also delicious, and the kimchi and namul were extremely tasty. I ended up eating cold noodles and bibimbap too, and I left completely satisfied. I was prepared to leave smelling like grilled meat due to the good ventilation, but surprisingly, I didn't smell at all. I will definitely visit again!

I usually use this place for lunch. I was able to go without a reservation, but it was almost full inside, so it might be better to make a reservation. I ordered the harami lunch with extra meat. The homemade mint cider and matcha pudding were delicious. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is efficient. As for the taste, it was okay. The homemade dressing and vegetables were tasty. Maybe my expectations were too high.

This was my first visit. I had the daily special for lunch and the meat was delicious, but what really impressed me was the value for money - it came with sherbet and a soft drink. The iced coffee I ordered as my soft drink was even better than what you'd get at a regular coffee shop! I'm willing to go a little out of my way to visit this place again!

I made a reservation for lunch and went there. Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was quite busy with customers. I ordered Lunch Set A (Harami Set for 1848 yen) and Lunch Set B (Three Kinds of Meat Set for 2068 yen). The harami meat was delicious and large, and I chose medium spiciness which was quite spicy but tasty. The set also included drinks and dessert, which I found to be a great deal for the price. The kimchi was also delicious. I will definitely visit again next time, perhaps for dinner!

For my first lunch here, I recommend the thinly sliced meat with 8 pieces, and the assorted 5 types of marbled meat with 2 pieces each. It comes with salad, kimchi, namul, soup, drink, and dessert, which was great! Thank you for the feast!

Today, I visited the restaurant with my boss. Everyone was delighted with the usual strongest menu. We started with ordering a Namul assortment for each of us as an appetizer. The moment the Namul assortment mixes together, it creates an exquisite flavor. It's so delicious that you might mistakenly think all Namul dishes are this good and order them at other restaurants. Next, the course of upper beef flows from the tongue. At Manyo Manyo, we dip it in lemon water to eat it refreshingly. It's different from the feeling of green onion salt at other restaurants. At this point, the Samgyeopsal set arrives. Recently, they seem to be changing from thinly sliced pork belly to thick pieces, but I still prefer the thinly sliced version. I roll the pork belly with miso, kimchi, white leeks, garlic, and sliced pickled radish on lettuce and eat it. It's irresistible. It's too delicious. The balance of everything is just perfect. As we enjoy that, a special selection of beef assortment is brought to us. We quickly grill the thinly sliced shabu-shabu meat and dip it in ponzu or wasabi soy sauce. It melts in your mouth. Although the special selection has a lot of fat, the perfect thinness is what makes it great. It's just right. Next, the upper beef assortment with sauce is served. There's also thinly sliced shabu-shabu meat here, so we quickly grill it and dip it in the sauce. The lean meat also has the perfect thickness. It's deliciously thick. The alcohol goes down smoothly. Finally, the hormone assortment is served, but this time, I asked for a mix of marinated beef and regular beef. The hormone is seasoned with salt. Everyone is satisfied with this strongest menu. I am too. I visit various famous restaurants, but Manyo Manyo is still the best. I'll keep coming here until I die.

In conclusion, this is the best restaurant for me. The food is delicious. This time, as usual, I ordered the Namul assortment and premium beef set (3 types of tongue, 6 types of premium beef, 6 types of premium beef, assorted hormones, dessert (sherbet or matcha pudding)), and the Samgyupsal set (thinly sliced 10 pieces with condiments, the pork belly is amazing). Manyakomanyaka-san seems to prefer Sapporo beer, so we ordered the black label or lager. I wish they also had Ebisu. After all, beer goes well with grilled meat. By the way, I heard they changed the way they serve the pork belly in the Samgyupsal set recently, from thinly sliced to long block shapes. However, I prefer the thinly sliced ones, so I asked for that. It's great that they can accommodate different preferences. They used to offer both sweet and spicy miso, but now it's only sweet. They don't seem to offer the spicy one anymore. I'm fine with sweet, but spicy lovers might be disappointed. Anyway, I'm full and satisfied once again. I will continue to visit this place in the future.

The nearest station is Keihan Yodoyabashi Station, but it's a bit far, so having a car is convenient. There is parking available. Our restaurant is a famous Kyoto yakiniku restaurant listed in the top 100 on Tabelog. I've always wanted to go to this place, and finally had the chance to visit for the first time. The atmosphere is casual and not too formal, like a popular local spot that has been loved for years and well maintained. There are counter seats and tatami mat seats, and we were guided to a tatami mat seat after making a reservation. It wasn't too crowded on a weekday lunch. We ordered from the weekday (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) limited lunch menu, choosing the S set with a selection of 5 types of Japanese beef totaling 130g for 2980 yen (excluding tax) and adding an extra 180g of meat for 900 yen (excluding tax), and the C set with 130g of Japanese beef kalbi for 2180 yen (excluding tax) and adding an extra 180g of meat for 600 yen (excluding tax). We chose a large size for the rice to share between my partner and me. The Japanese beef selection included premium cuts like special loin and skirt steak, with a total of 14 pieces. The staff advised us, "Please don't overcook the meat." The meat was incredibly tender and delicious, with a luxurious appearance and top-notch flavor. With 14 pieces, it was a generous portion that left us feeling satisfied. We may have ordered too much. The Japanese beef kalbi set included a trio of different cuts of belly meat, which had a chewier texture compared to the melt-in-your-mouth quality of the beef selection set. Both were delicious, but the beef selection set was definitely the standout. The meal came with salad, soup, appetizers, dessert, and coffee. The taste exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely come back for a leisurely dinner next time.

Here, I visited a popular yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto as part of my "Hyakumeiten Meguri" (visiting 100 famous stores) journey. It was a bit difficult to reach by train alone, so I took the Keihan bus from Nakashojima Station for 15 minutes and got off in front of Aeon Kuyama Store. It was a weekday during Golden Week at 5 pm, but it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant has 72 seats and is relatively large, with a layout similar to a family restaurant. I ordered the "Special Thick-cut Salted Tongue," "Special Beef Assortment," and "Kimchi Assortment" along with some alcohol. The thick-cut tongue was tender and of good quality, very delicious. The special beef assortment allows you to try a variety of premium meats of the day in small portions, all of which were flavorful and tasty. Thank you for the meal!

B set lunch with extra meat for 2,500 yen. Visited after 6 months. Rated 3.71 on Tabelog. Parking available. PayPay not accepted. It was a luxurious lunch after half a year. It's so delicious that I want to eat it about once every six months. I was very curious about the simmered meat sold at the attached butcher shop, but it was expensive so I resisted the temptation.

Significant deterioration. Compared to five years ago, the price of the assorted platter remains the same but the quantity is about half. I imagine around 6,000 yen per person, but it ended up being over 9,000 yen. The beef tongue and domestic high-quality cuts are almost 4,000 yen each, but they are so thin it's almost see-through. They don't advertise it as thick-cut, but this paper-thin meat is just not acceptable. The quality of the meat might be good, but once you start eating, it's quite disappointing. Even the premium assorted platter has very small pieces. What a shame...

Recommended lunch for 1,738 yen or more: Daily changing 130g of beef (thinly sliced kalbi and thinly sliced thigh) with rice, soup, side dish, salad, drink, and dessert. Around 11:20 am on weekdays. No waiting, but about half of the seats were already filled 20 minutes after opening. More and more customers came in until noon! I had been bookmarking Toraetoraesan for a while, and this time I sat at the counter and saw the lunch menu. The limited-time seared sukiyaki-style lunch caught my eye, so I recommend it! You can choose between sweet or spicy sauce, and the rice is free for a large portion. They also ask about your drink and dessert. Normally, the dessert is sherbet, but they are currently collaborating with another store and have matcha pudding. I chose the matcha pudding. The food was served in less than 5 minutes! The beautiful meat and large portion of rice, along with 4 side dishes, were gorgeous! The bean sprout namul, kimchi, and chijimi were all delicious! Then, I grilled the meat one slice at a time. The kalbi wasn't as fatty as I expected, and the thigh was also very tasty! I thought 130g was a bit small, but with the large portion of rice, it was just the right amount for a satisfying meal! After the meal, I enjoyed a hot coffee and matcha pudding before leaving feeling warm and content. The restaurant was almost full, and I can see why it's so popular! Next time, I'll come back for the seared sukiyaki-style lunch! Thank you for the meal.

My spouse and I went out for a meal as a way to relax from our work and hobbies. I had been wanting to go to Tora Tora for a while now, ever since I went with a friend a few years ago. Even though I haven't been able to eat much meat at other yakiniku restaurants recently, I couldn't help but indulge at Tora Tora (haha). The quality of the meat here is so good that if you were to eat it in Kawaramachi, it would cost close to 10,000 yen per person, but here it's a fantastic deal. We ate plenty of meat, had some rice porridge to finish, and it came out to about 6,000 yen per person. Since it was the weekend, the restaurant was quite busy. Our orders came out relatively quickly, and we finished eating in about an hour (haha). It was a truly happy time. I can't wait to go back again soon.

The fact that it doesn't sit heavy in the stomach means it's good meat! I will definitely order the premium salted tongue, tetchan, kids' kalbi, and samgyupsal set next time. We ate until we were full with 2 adults and 3 kids (8, 4, 4) for 13,000 yen. Great value for money!

This is my 4th time posting, but I have been here countless times. This time, I visited with the intention of having my colleagues try the food. I ordered my usual recommended menu, starting with a Namul assortment as an appetizer, followed by the premium beef course, and the recommended Samgyupsal set. Here, we dip the beef in a lemon and salt mixture instead of the usual salt. It may not be as strong as expected for those who prefer salt, but it's refreshing and delicious while still showcasing the beef's flavor. Before I knew it, the Samgyupsal set arrived! Normally, it comes with sweet and spicy miso, but I prefer mine to be on the sweeter side. Wrap the grilled pork belly in lettuce with sweet miso, kimchi, a slice of white onion, a couple of garlic slices, and enjoy – it's incredibly delicious. The balance is addictive. The thickness of the pork belly is just right, making it tasty every time and a hit with anyone who tries it. Next, we had marbled beef. It melts in your mouth with its rich fat. Enjoy it with wasabi soy sauce or grated ponzu for a refreshing taste. Then, we had lean meat with sauce. The lean meat is also juicy and delicious. The thickness of all the meats is just perfect, making them all incredibly tasty. Finally, we had hormone with sauce. It comes with various types like diaphragm, tripe, liver, etc., all in bite-sized pieces making it easy to eat. For dessert, you can choose between the classic sherbet or the new matcha pudding, both of which are delicious. With all this delicious food and even after having about 4 drinks, the bill came to only 8,500 yen per person – the cost performance is amazing. If you ever come to Kyoto, be sure to stop by. I will definitely be going back again.

Overall, it was delicious. My family loves kalbi, but as for the prime skirt... the prime loin was delicious so we ordered additional prime loin. The hormone and prime skirt were also delicious. The cold noodles and stone bibimbap were also good. The attentive service from the staff made for a great dining experience. It was delicious!

Parents and I wanted to eat yakiniku, so we went to a new place. I had no idea there was a yakiniku restaurant here. My son found it and brought us here. It seems like a place that is hard to get to without a car. There are plenty of parking spaces, so we felt relieved. When we made a reservation, they asked if there were any elderly or disabled people - we were touched by their consideration. The menu is rich with options from sirloin to offal, which made us happy. The top sirloin was delicious! The rice was also very tasty and went well with the meat. The chijimi was thin and crispy, which we enjoyed. The kimchi was a bit salty, but the cold noodles at the end were delicious. This restaurant offers great value for the price and we understand why it's popular. We will definitely come back.
