タケマシュラン
Many discerning Kyoto locals who are particular about their beef quality recognize the "Hiro" group's yakiniku. The main store is located near the entrance of the retro-style Sanjo Kai Shotengai, complete with a shared parking lot. In Kyoto, places like "Ehata" often require complicated reservations or waiting in line, but at this restaurant, you can easily make reservations online. The spacious interior offers box seats, sunken kotatsu seats, and semi-private rooms, allowing you to fully focus on the yakiniku in front of you. The alcohol pricing is appropriate for a yakiniku restaurant, so feel free to drink generously. They even offer all-you-can-drink plans. You can order a la carte by cut like at typical yakiniku restaurants, but the daily meat assortment is a great deal. It includes various cuts so you can enjoy different flavors. The strength of the restaurant lies in buying the entire cow as a group. They have been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. As an appetizer(?), beef stew was served. It's meant for two people, which was confusing for two middle-aged men like us. It would be better if they increased the price a bit and provided servings for the number of people. The kimchi is delicious. I consider myself quite picky about kimchi, as I often buy high-quality kimchi in bulk through Rakuten to keep at home, but this kimchi is surprisingly, or rather, very tasty. I would even consider ordering it from the restaurant. The "special assorted plate for tonight" has arrived. It includes standard cuts like tongue, thigh, and loin, as well as a special item called "Kujyo Negimaki". Everything we ate was delicious, and the assortment for around 5,000 yen is quite a bargain. Here is the assorted plate of horumon. It maintains the quality of the regular cuts, and the taste of the "amireba" liver stood out in particular. The liver is the liver, but what is that curly part on the grill? For carbs, they also offer meat sushi. While many yakiniku restaurants simply place grilled meat on rice, this restaurant uses vinegared rice and sometimes sears it depending on the cut. There is something about this flavor that appeals to your genes. For the finale, we had tail soup. The rich, milky white soup is incredibly flavorful, distinct from the pork bone ramen soup, with an elegant umami characteristic. It's a deliciousness that you could never replicate at home. It was delicious. Very, very delicious. Above all, the local focus, casual atmosphere, and pricing are great. The satisfying feeling after the meal is reminiscent of "Kyu" in Akita. They offer all-you-can-drink party courses starting from 5,000 yen for groups of 6 or more, so this restaurant is perfect for a celebration in Kyoto.
