In October, I celebrated my birthday by going out to eat. I chose to dine at the familiar Westin Hotel Osaka, known for its teppanyaki cuisine. This hotel holds a special place in my heart as it is where I had my wedding. The wedding date was also the closest weekend to my birthday, making it a memorable location for me. For lunch, I ordered the Akagyu sirloin steak, garlic rice, and 5 other dishes, along with a dessert. The lunch portion was just right for me, and I opted for a non-alcoholic drink that resembled lemonade. The appetizers included octopus and shabu-shabu salad, which was cooked on a hot plate. The main course featured meat with condiments, and the rice was cooked in a pot on the hot plate. Lastly, the dessert was a refreshing pear soup.

It's been a long time since I had Japanese food. The kaiseki meal at Ayame was a delightful experience. The meal started with a corn soup appetizer with caviar, followed by a simmered dish with sake-steamed fish, grilled eggplant, and other seasonal ingredients. The sashimi platter was beautifully presented and the grilled wagyu beef with summer vegetables was tender and flavorful. The deep-fried conger eel was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with a delicious tartar sauce. The hot pot with abalone shabu-shabu was a highlight, with a rich seaweed broth and a variety of fresh ingredients. The rice with edamame and ginger was fragrant and the red miso soup was comforting. The meal ended with a refreshing fruit dessert. Overall, I enjoyed a luxurious dining experience with delicious food and warm hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I had a lunch of eel and sweetfish at the counter. It was enjoyable to see the dishes being prepared right in front of me. I was happy to be able to enjoy freshly made dishes. The eel soba made with the best broth was incredibly delicious. The salt-grilled sweetfish, fluffy eel roll, and charcoal-grilled eel rice were all delicious. The presentation of the dishes was also lovely. It felt like I was enjoying professional cooking after a long time. It was a great value lunch.

Visited a customer and had teppanyaki where they cooked right in front of us. It started with appetizers and then scallops and shrimp were grilled to perfection. Everything was so elegant and exciting to eat. The horse sashimi was also amazing! There's no way it could taste bad. The meat was from Kumamoto's red beef, which the customer said had a proper meaty flavor. Yes! It was really delicious. The meat was dancing in my mouth. From this point on, I was so happy that my memory is a bit fuzzy haha. Everything was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Teppanyaki at a hotel! You can also eat horse sashimi! Osaka Japanese cuisine Hanano (Westin Hotel Osaka 3rd floor) 20,000-29,999. Teppanyaki with a Japanese atmosphere. It was a very nice experience! Although it's not a private room, it wasn't too crowded during early hours, which was nice. The seasonal vegetables and carefully selected fillet were very delicious. I asked for medium rare, but it seemed a bit more cooked, but I like medium rare so I enjoyed it as it was! They also cooked rice in a pot on the spot, and we had some white rice and the rest as garlic rice! ⭐️5⭐️ I want to go there again. Love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone about it. ⭐️4⭐️ I would recommend it if asked for a good restaurant. ⭐️3⭐️ I might go again. ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm... I'd prefer to try a different restaurant. ⭐️1⭐️ Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Instagram @tokyo_gourmet_yokutaberuko. Tabelog: yokutaberuko. I made a reservation at a fancy restaurant called "Hanano -in The Westin Osaka-" for a nerve-wracking dinner meeting. The atmosphere was elegant and made me feel like a grown-up. The food was intricate and delicious, with dishes like grilled cherry sea bream with saffron sauce, rolled Omi beef with seasonal vegetables, and colorful grilled vegetables. The steak was juicy and tender, and the fresh salad was vibrant and tasty. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would love to visit again, even though I was nervous about the dinner meeting.

On a sunny day, I was relaxing in the lobby lounge of The Westin Osaka when I was called to move. I went to a Japanese restaurant which is also the main dining venue within the hotel. I was led through a confusing hallway to a private room at the back of the restaurant. Before the meal started, we toasted with champagne. Since it was a celebration, the menu was not the usual one but a special one for the occasion. The meal included: appetizer with herring roe, shrimp, and rapeseed flowers, soup with dragon head fish, princess carrots, green vegetables, and peas, a variety of seasonal sashimi with 4 different garnishes, seasonal side dishes and delicacies, grilled fish and simmered dish, red rice and sea bream instead of the usual seasonal rice, pickles, red miso soup, and seasonal fruits for dessert. It was a perfect choice for a special celebration at a top-notch hotel!

I ordered the 21,000 yen course. The appetizers were red clam, firefly squid, and flat clams. The clam soup was delicious, especially with the bamboo shoots. The sashimi included sea bream, mackerel, and tuna. The spring vegetable sushi was delightful. The grilled dish was charcoal-grilled Omi beef, which surprisingly went well with the butterbur miso. The next dish was fried blowfish, perfectly cooked. The steamed dish was monkfish liver. The meal ended with abalone rice. The total cost was 27,000 yen per person, which was a bit pricey for a hotel restaurant, but I was satisfied with the quality of the food.

The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of The Westin Osaka. We made a reservation as usual and visited as a party of two. We were seated at a table and started with bottled beer. The first course was asparagus with white miso dressing. Then we had a soup with flying dragon head and mugwort tofu. Next was sashimi with sea bream and mackerel. The mackerel was delicious with its fatty texture. The sea bream had a rich flavor too. The next course was a platter with rolled omelette, firefly squid with vinegar miso, small beans, small sea bream sushi, and egg. Then we had fried conger eel with sesame tofu, which was also tasty. Following that, we had a small pot of Omi beef and spring vegetables. After that came the main course, which was sea bream rice. The portion was generous, so they kindly packed the leftovers as rice balls for us to take home.

The portion is generous! The course costs 18,000 yen and is enough. There are only 7 seats at the counter for the tempura course. The appetizers include vegetables and abalone tempura. The shrimp tempura is sweet and delicious, and the head is especially tasty. The lotus root is delicious when dipped in sauce. The vegetables are also tasty. The conger eel was incredibly delicious. The sweet potato was also delicious. For the finale, there are three options: soba noodles, warm and cold tempura rice bowl, and tempura soba noodles. The cold soba noodles seem to be the best choice. Everything is delicious, but the portion size is large. The dessert is also sweet, so I couldn't finish everything. Thank you for the feast!

As a year-end feast in 2022, I visited Hananohe at The Westin Osaka, where I always rely on. They offer a variety of options including tempura, traditional Japanese cuisine, and teppanyaki, but today I chose tempura! The tempura here is made with the highest quality ingredients and a thin batter that enhances the natural flavors of the ingredients. The meal starts with an appetizer of abalone and kombu with roe, followed by dishes such as blowfish sashimi, grilled blowfish milt, sweet shrimp, squid with caviar, sea urchin, shark fin, fresh shiitake mushrooms, abalone, blowfish milt, lotus root, bamboo shoots, ginkgo nuts, and clam soup. The tempura of shark fin is especially outstanding and can only be enjoyed here. The crispy tempura buckwheat noodles and dessert are also exquisite. If you want to savor a generous portion of delicious ingredients, I highly recommend this place!

I happened to see it online and decided to visit. Personally, this place is easy to make reservations even on the same day. Today, I tried the cheapest tempura course with the option to add additional items a la carte. Tempura is delicious when made with good ingredients. I don't usually go to tempura counters, so I don't know many places, but as far as hotel tempura goes, it was reasonably tasty and affordable. Thank you for the meal.

A course meal featuring Omi beef, Omi duck, and Omi vegetables - a feast of Omi produce. The Omi beef roast beef was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. The Omi duck, Shiga Prefecture's first brand duck, had a vibrant red meat with no gamey taste and a perfect chewy texture. The herb-grilled dish with the chef's special beet sauce was refreshing and hearty. A group of four girls enjoyed a year-end party, looking forward to more delicious outings together next year.

After returning from the Buddhist memorial service during the autumn equinox, my family and I enjoyed a relaxing meal together. The tempura was crispy and light, perfectly cooked without compromising the ingredients. The shrimp and scallops were fresh and delicious. The sweet potatoes were naturally sweet, but what surprised me was how sweet and tasty the lotus root was. For dessert, we had roasted green tea ice cream with chocolate yokan. It was just the right amount of sweetness, refreshing and delicious! It was consistently delicious as always!

Located a 7-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, next to the famous Umeda Sky Building with its floating garden, this restaurant is on the 3rd floor of The Westin Osaka. There is parking available. We visited with relatives for a special occasion over the weekend. It truly is a top-notch Japanese restaurant in the heart of Osaka. Despite being in the bustling city center, the spacious and relaxed atmosphere was maintained, and the service was impeccable. We opted for the lunch course "Nadeshiko" priced at 6,000 yen including tax. The private room fee was 8,000 yen including tax, and drinks were extra. The course included various dishes such as assorted mushroom salad, flying dragon head soup with green soybeans, tuna and sea bream sashimi, sea bass pressed sushi, conger eel tempura, fig and duck with loofah appetizers, Omi beef grilled in magnolia leaves, fried squid with rice, pickles, red miso soup, and peach and milk pudding for dessert. While there was nothing particularly unique, this kind of reliable restaurant is perfect for special occasions like celebrations. The dishes were well-prepared, with flavorful soup and visually appealing seasonal appetizers. The Omi beef was tender and delicious. The fried squid with rice was a unique dish. The prices were reasonable. Most importantly, the celebration was a success. We stopped by the floating garden on our way out, bidding farewell to Osaka.

There is a tempura counter separate from the kaiseki and teppanyaki at this restaurant. I tried the lunch menu. The Yamabuki lunch course for 13,000 yen consisted of 7 dishes and left me feeling full. The menu included:
- Appetizer
- Sashimi (2 kinds)
- Tempura: 2 prawns, 3 seasonal fish, nori tempura with sea urchin, 4 seasonal vegetables, and octopus with egg tofu tempura
- Palate cleanser
- Vinegared dish
- Rice with tea or tempura donburi
- Seasonal homemade dessert
The flavors were decent and with a discount, the cost performance seemed good for a hotel restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

As expected, Westin's steak is delicious. From the entrance to the teppanyaki counter, you move while looking at the courtyard. It was a business dinner, but the atmosphere was great even before the food arrived. The taste of all the dishes was excellent.

Before going to the Tsuchi Hyogo Geibun, I had lunch. As usual, I planned to have a lunch on the 1st floor for 2,000 to 3,000 yen, but it turned out to be a GW all-you-can-eat (6,000 yen). So, reluctantly, I went to the 3rd floor and had two servings of rice. I was quite full and satisfied. The service was also good. Sometimes, Japanese cuisine is nice too. ♪♪ Delicious ♪♪ What I ordered was a three-tiered bento box for 4,600 yen (including tax and service charge). With my MB card, I got a 15% discount. The meal included appetizers, sashimi, grilled dishes, side dishes, rice, soup, and fruits. Thank you for the feast.

I visited a counter with only 6 seats. I chose the 16,000 yen kaiseki course and was torn between the tempura and the nanohana-wrapped roast beef with onion sauce. Both were delicious. The buri daikon and buri teriyaki were also excellent. This place also offers Marriott discounts and points accumulation. Oh, I think the Gokoku discount is not applicable here.

I used it for lunch. I was with my child, so I chose a hotel dinner that is easy for children to enter. I ordered tempura rice bowl, sukiyaki set meal, three-meal bento, and butter-grilled abalone as a single item. The dessert was a rich matcha ice cream. The restaurant was quite crowded and it took some time for the dishes to come out, but everything was delicious. The cost performance is good for a hotel lunch, so I recommend it. It is recommended for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel or those looking for Japanese cuisine with children.

First visit to Nanosan at The Westin Hotel Osaka! Located on the 3rd floor of The Westin Hotel Osaka near Osaka Umeda Station. I visited for a friend's birthday lunch! I heard it was recommended so I tried it out. I'm not sure of the course name! It was a lunch course similar to a kaiseki meal! It included sashimi, appetizers, soup, fried dish, and main dish, and it was very satisfying! It was really delicious! The service was also top-notch, as expected from a restaurant inside a hotel, and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. I would like to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

Westin Osaka's teppanyaki was a first for me. The best place to eat during the New Year is at the hotel restaurant! We arrived at 13:30. Social distancing was well maintained, so we could eat with peace of mind. The course was 12,500 yen. Every dish was delicious! I kept saying "delicious" from start to finish. The appetizer was duck salad. It was so good with cassis sauce! Delicious!! The soup. I can't remember what kind of soup it was, haha. The 10 kinds of vegetables. Simply grilled on the teppan, but each vegetable was delicious on its own! The abalone was tender and the liver sauce was tasty! Not too heavy, just right. Akagyu beef. We had reserved the sirloin, but on the day we asked to change it to tenderloin. There was no additional charge. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, not too rare, bringing out the full flavor of the meat. I regret not ordering the sirloin too. The only downside was that the garlic rice had egg in it, so it tasted like perfect fried rice. Next time, I'll request it without egg. Truly Westin quality. The service was polite and we could enjoy our meal comfortably. Many of the customers were elderly couples, and in these times, it was a calm place to dine. I will definitely visit again!
