On this day, after finishing a meeting in Osaka, I stayed in Kyoto. I had fried chicken at the first place, and then I wondered where to go for the second place. I suddenly remembered a restaurant I had bookmarked, so I decided to give them a call. They said I could come without a reservation, so I headed south to Takatsujidori and then east on Yanaginobanba-dori to a place called KANEGURA. This restaurant is produced by Niku no Takumi Miyoshi, a famous meat cuisine restaurant in Gion. I arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 pm and was seated at the counter, which was quite empty at the time. However, more and more customers arrived, and by 8:00 pm, most of the seats were taken. It seems like making a reservation in advance would be a good idea. I looked at the menu and ordered a drink first, a lemon sour without sugar. There were daily steak and recommended dishes, making it hard to choose. The dishes I ordered were: Mino Ponzu for ¥600, Harami Joints and Daikon Stew for ¥750, Thick-cut Tongue for ¥2,500, Meat Hot Pot for ¥1,300 plus raw egg for ¥100, and Noritama Gyutan Rice for ¥1,200. The food was delicious, especially the meat hot pot which was a special dish made with rib roast. The staff prepared the hot pot at the counter, and it was a delightful experience. The meal ended with the Noritama Gyutan Rice, which was a perfect way to finish the dining experience. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I would love to visit again in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a wonderful smell of good meat. I ordered a regular meat hot pot, and even though the price was reasonable, I was surprised by the high quality of the meat. It was perfectly tender and delicious. Dipping it in egg and eating it with rice was amazing! All the other dishes were also made with good quality meat and tasted delicious. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and provided excellent service. It's a wonderful place for a date, casual drinks, or a hearty dinner.

This meat hot pot restaurant, which has been open for just over a year, has a stylish atmosphere and the service is full of love. It is a favorite of local friends, and I visited for the first time. I ordered a variety of appetizers. The beef tongue yukhoe and raw liver sashimi were all fresh and delicious! The doteyaki was also delicious, not losing to Osaka's taste. The potato salad was fluffy with just the right amount of mayonnaise. The beef hot pot is cooked by the staff with a timer, lightly grilled and lightly simmered, then the sauce is poured over and eaten with the vegetables and raw egg on low heat, which is incredibly delicious. Although not recommended by the store, I ordered rice to soak up the meat juices and added an extra raw egg to make a delicious rice porridge. Eating and drinking for less than 10,000 yen per person is cost-effective.

The atmosphere of the shop and the friendly staff create a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Although I couldn't try the famous meat hot pot this time, the thick beef tongue was amazingly delicious! The Omi beef yukhoe was also outstanding. I will definitely come back next time to try the meat hot pot!

- Kamo eggplant tempura in broth - Ground meat miso with chilled green peppers - Raw peach meat - Harami yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) - Premium meat hot pot It is a relatively casual place where you can enjoy high-quality meat to a certain extent without going as far as sukiyaki. Overall, the food is delicious, but there was nothing particularly outstanding about it.

Hello, this is Osayama. It's about an 8-minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma? I was able to make a reservation for Kyoto for the first time in a while, so I went. We ordered various dishes and it cost around 15,000 yen for two people. The food was delicious. The cost performance may not be the best. If I have the chance, I might go again.

Located in Kyoto, a meat restaurant known for its high-quality Japanese beef hot pot, "KANEGURA" is a new brand opened by the owner and head chef of the renowned restaurant "Sanbou," Mr. Tsuyoshi Ito. Born in Kyoto in 1975, Mr. Ito has always had a passion for food and hospitality. After being impressed by the quality of fresh beef provided by a friend in the meat industry, he opened "Sanbou" to showcase the excellence of beef. "Sanbou" has received high ratings on food review websites like Tabelog and has also been awarded Michelin and Gault Millau 3 toques, gaining recognition both domestically and internationally. Drawing on his 15 years of experience as the owner and head chef of "Sanbou," Mr. Ito opened "KANEGURA" on November 19, 2021. The restaurant is located about 160 meters east of Bukkoji Temple along Takatsuji Street and is a 6-minute walk from Kyoto Karasuma Station (or a 7-minute walk from Shijo Station). Operating hours are from 6:00 pm to midnight from Wednesday to Monday (last order at 11:00 pm), with lunch service on weekends starting from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm (last order at 2:00 pm) starting from May 6, 2023. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and has a seating capacity of 22, with 6 counter seats and 16 table seats. Reservations can be made by phone. During my visit, I ordered mainly from the a la carte menu, but I couldn't resist trying the popular premium meat hot pot. The premium meat hot pot features rib roast cooked for about 3 minutes on high heat, then an additional 1 and a half minutes after adding the special sauce. Beneath the meat, there are bean sprouts and onions soaked in the sauce. The dish is known for its Instagram-worthy presentation and has received positive reviews. Overall, the prices of the dishes are reasonable, allowing you to enjoy delicious meat dishes for less than 10,000 yen. It is a highly recommended restaurant for casual dining. [Orders] ◻ Spring roll 1 piece 350 yen ◻ Omi beef yukhoe 1,200 yen ◻ Black wagyu tongue yukhoe 1,400 yen ◻ Wagyu chashu 1,100 yen ⚪︎ ◻ Premium meat hot pot 3,000 yen ◻ Rice 350 yen

When I visited Kyoto, I went to "KANEGURA" restaurant. I stayed at a nearby hotel and was looking for a good restaurant in the area, so I searched on Tabelog and found this place. It's a popular restaurant and tends to be fully booked, but luckily I was able to get a reservation on the day I wanted to visit. I didn't have high expectations because I didn't research much, but it pleasantly surprised me! The beef tartare was amazing, and all the meat dishes were of high quality. Plus, the prices were not too high. The cost performance is incredible. It's a restaurant produced by Sanjo in Gion, and it totally makes sense! I definitely want to go back again! Please open a branch in Tokyo too! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was overwhelmed by the variety of meat dishes on the menu and had a hard time deciding what to order! Since it was my first time visiting, I decided to go with the meat hot pot, which was recommended by the staff. I enjoyed the meat sashimi, hamburger, and Chateaubriand steak, as well as the clay pot rice cooked in chicken broth. The meat hot pot was a delight to watch as the colors of the meat changed gradually. When combined with vegetables and dipped in raw egg, it created a sukiyaki-like flavor that was delicious until the very end.

I visited "KANEGURA," a meat dish restaurant in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City. When I called in the evening on the day of my visit, there was only one seat available. The presentation and seasoning were excellent, as expected from the meat master, Mr. Miyoshi. I recommend ordering the meat hot pot on the iron plate.

Niku no Takumi Miyoshi-san's meat hot pot specialty restaurant, which has been featured on TV. We sat at the counter, raised a toast with beer, had Tsurami Ponzu, Omi beef Yukke, Lamp Steak, meat hot pot (with egg), and bear curry with red wine and Hakushu. The manager said he used to work with Miyoshi-san and was entrusted with this restaurant. The Lamp Steak was tender and flavorful, pairing well with red wine. The meat hot pot was delicious, expertly finished by the staff. They also have rare bear meat available, which I would like to try next time.

This is a produce store of the famous restaurant Miyoshi. It is quite casual here. You can enjoy dishes like meat hot pot and meat sashimi at a reasonable price. We visited with four people, so we could try a variety of dishes. The chicken white broth and mushroom clay pot rice are exquisite! The meat hot pot is also delicious! You can enjoy a playful menu as well as high-quality meat dishes. Since we had eaten too much Kobe beef at a restaurant in Kobe the day before, we focused on appetizers this day. It's great to be able to enjoy food of this level at a reasonable price!

On this day, I went to the recommended restaurant "Kanegura (伖)" by a friend. It is located on the north side as you head east on Karasuma Takatsuji Street. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma Station. Produced by "Niku no Takumi Miyoshi", you can enjoy Omi beef and Kobe beef at a reasonable price. - Grilled eggplant with sesame sauce - Spring roll (¥350) - Kanegura salad (¥550) - Kanegura meat hot pot (¥1,300) - Draft beer (¥600) - Trulli Vermentino Silent Bottle (¥3,000) The main highlight is the famous meat hot pot. It comes out covered with bean sprouts, onions, and meat like a mountain range. It's rich in flavor, light, and easy to eat. I finished without feeling too full, and it was a delicious meal.
