I preferred the cookies chilled rather than at room temperature. Everything was delicious and I even gave some as gifts to friends. My favorite was the spoon-eaten cheese cakes. They were all great, but I especially liked the natural sweetness of the camembert. The parmesan had a strong salty taste and unique flavor, which I enjoyed. The mascarpone was easy to eat and tasted as expected. It was fun to compare the flavors. The macarons and Basque cheese were tasty too, but the spoon-eaten cheese cakes were my top choice. The Basque cheese may not beat a specialized shop, and was a bit dry. The macarons were sold out when I went the day before, showing their popularity. I'd like to try menu items only available at the main store someday. Cheese lovers should definitely give this place a try.

They provide free ice packs, but also offer paid cooler bags in case you need to keep your items cold for a longer time. This time, I bought one piece each of the six types of cheese they had. They were small, but very rich in flavor. It felt like I was eating real cheese, and I thought they would be great as a snack with alcohol rather than eating them on their own.

There are six varieties to choose from, so I'm having a hard time deciding which one to pick. - Mascarpone Cake for 250 yen - Parmesan Cake for 250 yen I bought two to compare. The Mascarpone Cake, which is the most popular, is a must-have. It has a consistently delicious taste. The Parmesan Cheese has a nice touch of saltiness. The cheese flavors are completely different. Both are creamy and easy to eat, satisfying my craving for cheese. I want to eat them again.

I chose honey! The cheese flavor is subtle, and it's super cold, like a McDonald's milkshake! The honey is thick and perfect for when you're thirsty. There's a lot of it, and it's delicious. There are chunks of cheese in it, which you can scoop up and eat, but that part was a bit disappointing maybe? Haha.

I was surprised to learn that the price had increased by 150 yen starting from December (now 650 yen), but I decided to give it a try anyway! The result? Even for 650 yen, it was totally worth it! I asked the staff which menu item would allow me to taste more of the cheese, and they recommended the new "Gorgonzola Honey" drink. They advised me to mix it well before drinking. With the first sip... a drinkable cheesecake!? Not the cute kind, but a lot of cheese!! The distinctive taste of Gorgonzola cheese was clearly present. It had a strong cheese flavor and was delicious! There was also a Mascarpone Honey option, which made me curious if it would have a softer cheese taste. I definitely want to try it again.

I stopped by Daimaru Umeda Department Store, so I visited Umeda Cheese Lab after a long time. There was no line this time, so I was able to buy it right away. I chose the regular cookie again this time. I paid with the Daimaru Matsuzakaya shareholder benefit card for a 10% discount, and then used a department store gift card, so it was a good deal. When I got home, I tried it for the first time in a while. The cheese inside was rich and delicious. Cookies last a long time, so I want to enjoy them slowly for a while.

The taste is exactly like drinkable cheesecake - not too sweet, with a nice cheese flavor that is not overpowering. It's different from the usual texture because you drink it with a straw. Their concept is to "love cheese, be particular about cheese, and bring out the charm of cheese." Among the many cheese products, the "drinkable cheesecake" seems to be a popular item, but this time I bought the "cookie" for souvenirs, which sandwiches white chocolate and cheese cream between cheese cookies. The cheese cream uses two types of cheese, Gorgonzola and Gouda, and it goes really well with the light, slightly thick langues de chat-like cookies with an elegant sweetness. I also impulsively bought the "macaron cheesecake"! This new cheese sweet, which sandwiches cheesecake between macarons, has a unique taste with just the right amount of saltiness and acidity lingering afterwards! (^^)

Just a short walk through the underground passage from JR Osaka Station, you'll find our shop located on the basement floor of Daimaru Umeda Store. No parking available. Our shop specializes in cheese sweets that cheese lovers will adore. I happen to be a big fan of cheese myself. I recall the happy days spent enjoying cheese-filled breakfasts at Swiss hotels. Our shop is takeout only, but if you plan to eat right away, we'll provide a spoon. I purchased the drinkable cheese cake (Gorgonzola) for 500 yen including tax, and the spoon-eaten cheese cake (Camembert) for 250 yen including tax. The drinkable cheese cake had a bit of inconsistency in taste. The parts with strong cheese flavor were delicious, but the lighter parts tasted only of milk. Perhaps it needed to be stirred more? The spoon-eaten cheese cake had a rich Camembert flavor. You can enjoy the pure taste of cheese straight up. It may have a slightly strong salty taste though. In conclusion! It's hard to judge based on just this. I need to try other varieties as well. However, if you're a cheese lover, this is a shop worth visiting at least once.

Cheese snack shop that specializes in processed cheese snacks and cakes, rather than just plain cheese. I was curious about the cheese that you eat with a spoon, but it was too hot so I opted for a drinkable mascarpone instead. It was around 500 yen. It looked like a shake and had honey in it. When I tried it, it was cold and delicious, not too rich, just the perfect sweet treat. It exceeded my expectations and was definitely worth the price. It was delicious and helped cool down my sweaty body. It was fantastic.
