Located on the 9th floor of Grand Front South Building, this place has an incredibly high ceiling and a spacious atmosphere that is very impressive. I had been curious about it for a while, so I decided to visit with a friend who is from the same hometown and of the same generation. She had also been interested in this restaurant, so we were able to visit at a good time. We made a reservation over the phone in advance. While the terrace seats were appealing, we opted for indoor seating since the night breeze was still chilly. We were seated by the window on the day of our visit. As soon as we entered, we were struck by the incredibly high ceiling (6 meters) that made the space feel so open and airy. The full glass windows offered a view of the Umeda North area bathed in the twilight. The space was designed by Kyo Michitsugu Morita, the husband of Taichi Saotome, and it exuded a stylish yet sophisticated charm. The Premium Plus course we ordered for 13,750 yen included cold appetizers, hot appetizers, a fish main dish, a meat main dish, and dessert. We were also served champagne and a glass of wine (white/red). The food was delicious, with each dish carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The atmosphere, the food, and the service all combined to create a wonderful dining experience.

We tried the Charles Edouard champagne, Pinot Blanc wine, and Kirin Ichiban beer, all of which were delicious. The course included fresh oysters, duck and beef consomme, oven-roasted Canadian half lobster, wagyu fillet, and a delightful dessert with strawberry creme brulee. The warm bread was also a nice touch. The entire dining experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

I visited for lunch. I ordered a course menu for just under 5000 yen, with oyster sorbet as the appetizer and fillet steak as the main dish. The oysters were from Aomori and had no fishy smell, making them very easy to eat. The sorbet was a nice touch and delicious. The fillet steak was cooked medium, maybe a bit too much, but the quality of the meat was good and it was also delicious.

I have visited this restaurant several times before, and the deliciousness is always consistent! The prices are not too high, and the meat is always delicious without any variation. It is my favorite steakhouse. The drinks are also delicious and enjoyable, and this time I was able to eat fresh oysters, which made me very happy.

Located on the 9th floor of the South Building of Grand Front Osaka, today I had dinner with my mother and daughter, just us girls, at this restaurant. This place offers NY-style cuisine and has a special hideaway feel on the 9th floor with a single floor layout. The glass walls and high ceilings create an open and luxurious atmosphere. There is also a bar counter, and when it gets dark, the softly lit lights create a sophisticated and adult ambiance. Despite feeling a bit nervous about having a course meal in such a stylish setting, the staff made us feel relaxed with their friendly service. We had made a reservation for the course menu. Upon seating, the staff placed napkins for us. The SIGNATURE course costs 8,000 yen (including tax) and consists of FIRST, SECOND, and dessert sections that you can select from. We started with a toast of champagne! It pairs well not only as an aperitif but also with the first dish. FIRST: Hokkaido octopus summer salad - a cute and refreshing salad that evokes a summer flower field. It includes mango, avocado, okra, and cucumber. The octopus was firm and had a good texture, and the lemon vinaigrette dressing was very refreshing. Mother: Today's fresh oysters (2 pieces) with passion fruit granita - the plump oysters were topped with passion fruit sauce, creating a slightly acidic and refreshing dish. SECOND: Chicken & beef consomme - the Argentine beef tongue, seared at low temperature, is served with chicken and beef consomme soup right in front of you. The flavorful consomme soup didn't overpower the taste and texture of the beef tongue, making it delicious. Mother: Red king crab cake with watermelon & peach gazpacho - a croquette-like cake made with plenty of red king crab, topped with gazpacho. The cold soup was an unexpected mix of watermelon and peach, and the crisp summer vegetables were also delicious. THIRD: Canadian half lobster teppanyaki - a lobster cooked on a hot plate with garlic herb butter. Squeeze a bit of charred lemon on it and enjoy the firm and elastic texture. The lobster meat was cut into pieces, making it easy to eat. Before the main course, we had some wine. Since it was meat, we chose a red wine, and the staff selected one for us. The deep red wine paired wonderfully with the meat. MAIN: Today's selected 150g fillet of domestic beef char-grilled with roasted eggplant and tomato with basil flavor - we asked for the fillet to be cooked medium, and it was very tender and flavorful. We were provided with both red wine sauce and peppercorn sauce to enjoy with the meat. Although both were delicious, we preferred the meat's flavor with just rock salt. The thick meat portion was surprisingly filling, and the colorful tomatoes and eggplant made us feel the essence of summer. DESSERT: White peach and grape terrine - a terrine with a fruit jelly-like texture, visually appealing with its colorful fruits, and tasted refreshing. It paired well with the ricotta cream and fromage blanc sorbet, and also with coffee. Mother: Rare cheesecake mousse cake - selected from the cake presented earlier, this rare cheesecake transformed into a cute dessert on our table. It was served with a summer berry soup, and the Morello cherry sorbet was a refreshing end to the meal. A rare and stylish dinner with just the two of us. We enjoyed the beautiful space, visually pleasing dishes, and delicious flavors. The attentive service allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. While we came as a mother-daughter duo this time, this restaurant is also recommended for dates or special occasions.

I wanted another one! ⚪︎ Chicken & Beef Consomme (seared Argentine beef tongue cooked at low temperature) - The soup is delicious, and the low-temperature cooked beef tongue is also tasty. ⚪︎ Canadian Half Lobster Teppanyaki - The sauce was delicious, and when eaten with arugula, it was even more tasty. I wanted to have more of this dish. ⚪︎ Today's selected Japanese fillet 150g (char-grilled with roasted eggplant and tomato, basil flavor) - The dish looks delicious. You can choose between red wine sauce or peppercorn sauce, but I couldn't decide, so they brought both as separate sides. The staff's great customer service that even listens to my whims is amazing. ⚪︎ Rare Cheesecake Mousse - A cute dessert. The interior of the restaurant has a 6m high ceiling, creating a very open and luxurious atmosphere. The food, both in appearance and taste, was wonderful. Met up with my daughter after a long time and went to GRILL & STEAK THE COSMOPOLITAN on the 9th floor of Grand Front Osaka South Building. We ordered the 【SIGNATURE】course for 8,000 yen (tax included). The napkin was set on the table and they kindly placed it on our laps. We started with a toast of Charles Edouard Brut Reserve champagne, which had a refreshing taste with a hint of floral aroma. For the first course, you could choose between options. We had 2 fresh oysters with passion fruit granite, which was juicy and flavorful. My daughter chose the Hokkaido octopus summer salad with mango, avocado, okra, cucumber, and lemon vinaigrette, which had a refreshing acidity perfect for the hot weather. For the second course, we had a crab cake with watermelon and peach gazpacho, and a chicken and beef consomme with Argentine beef tongue and tapenade. The seafood teppanyaki with half lobster was cooked with garlic butter and herbs, giving it a fragrant taste perfect for summer. The fillet from Tochigi Prefecture was served with roasted eggplant and tomato, accompanied by two sauces - peppercorn and red wine. We paired the dishes with Chateau de Jacques red wine and Domaine Vaillant white wine. For dessert, we had a mango and pineapple parfait with coconut panna cotta, passion fruit jelly, and guava sorbet, as well as a rare cheesecake mousse with plum and summer berry soup, lychee granita, and white peach sorbet. We ended the meal with lemon iced tea. The restaurant's interior, designed by Katsuyuki Morita, was stylish and beautiful, creating a wonderful dining experience. On the way back to the station, we felt like having one more drink. We were looking for a place near the station where we could have a quick drink at around 21:30, but we had trouble finding one. However, we decided to try our luck and visited a place without calling ahead. The staff welcomed us warmly and quickly seated us at the counter. The quality of service at this place has always been high, with staff behaving in a manner reminiscent of hotel staff. We had a great time chatting with friends and left feeling satisfied on our way home. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

With its glass walls offering a city view, it was still bright as it was summer and the days were long, but I thought it would be beautiful when the sun sets. The place has a luxurious and adult-like vibe, with many couples and adult women around. The staff were very smart, and when I was hesitating over the drinks, they recommended me something that looked great, which made me feel relieved. The Premium Plus Course for ¥12,500 allows you to choose from First, Second, and Main dishes. The seared beef tongue was tender and luxurious with a slightly bitter consommé soup and a unique aroma of tea beans. The lobster had a firm texture and a good balance of garlic and white wine, with a refreshing touch of burnt lemon. The fillet steak was perfectly cooked with a choice of sauce, and the red wine sauce paired well with the meat. The paper-thin potatoes added a nice crunch, complementing the tender meat and the sauce perfectly. The staff were attentive and timing their service well, offering refills of drinks and bread promptly. When I went to the restroom, I think they said "have a good trip" to me, or maybe it was just my imagination? The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, so I would love to try their lunch menu next time.

I decided to make a reservation for a dinner date with my boyfriend, as we hadn't dined out at a fancy restaurant in a while. When we arrived at 6:30 pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was almost fully booked already, which was quite surprising. We had requested a table on the terrace, but due to the uncertain weather and humidity, we were seated indoors at the last available sofa table. The restaurant had prepared a set menu for us, which indicated that they were prepared for both terrace and indoor seating options, which I thought was impressive. We opted for the premium course priced at 11,000 yen, which included a selection of appetizers, warm dishes, teppanyaki, a choice between wagyu lamp and misji as the main course, and a variety of dessert options. The portion sizes were generous, and we were already full by the time we reached the main course. The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a date. It seemed like many of the customers were there to celebrate birthdays, with about 70% of the guests being part of a celebration. I would love to come back on another special occasion in the future.

I used it for a date! The service was very good and I had a pleasant time!! The main meat dish was 150g, so I was full! The dessert I chose at the end was a seasonal lemon tart, with a mix of lemon sourness and tart sweetness, it was delicious even after the meat.

First visit. The atmosphere was a bit upscale and quiet, but surprisingly the spacious area made the noise echo and it felt noisy. The food was okay... The Caesar salad tasted bland and I wished for more dressing. The steak was Australian grass-fed fillet, but I ordered medium rare and it came out medium well done. I prefer it juicier. The meat itself was not bad. The house wine was not to my liking, which was disappointing. The parfait dessert was delicious. Overall, considering the food quality and atmosphere, it felt a bit overpriced.

Long time no see, THE COSMOPOLITAN GRILL BAR TERRACE on the 9th floor of the South Building at Grand Front Osaka. A luxurious space right in the middle of the city with an elegant high ceiling that is 6m tall! The bar counter is stylish and just stepping in gives you a special feeling ☺️. While looking at the greenery, I enjoyed a glass of Charles Edouard Champagne with fine bubbles and a rich flavor. For appetizers, you can choose between 2 options: 2 fresh oysters of the day with a spicy kiwi granite or a garden green carpaccio of fresh fish of the day with firefly squid and squid ink liquid, avocado and mango salsa. I shared them with a friend! The combination of fresh oysters and the spicy acidity of the sauce with the champagne was irresistible. The yellowtail carpaccio with squid ink sauce was quite rich. It may be too intense for those who don't drink alcohol. Next, you can also choose between: snow crab crab cake with white asparagus brulee and truffle flavor. The visual was not what I imagined, but the crab croquette with a generous amount of crab and a creamy soup with a gentle flavor turned into a luxurious crab cream croquette in my mouth! The texture of the half-cooked asparagus and the scent of truffle were nice. It's important to scoop it up skillfully with a spoon. The white wine selection was also good. Oh, the service staff here look like models? Actors? They are visually appealing and provide an elegant and high-class hotel-like service without being too formal, always smiling and making the experience enjoyable. Grilled Canadian half-lobster with garlic herb butter, charred lemon, and arugula was my favorite! Simple cooking with the herb butter was amazing. I wanted seconds! And for the main course ❤️: selected Japanese beef lamp 180g with spring cabbage and chorizo risotto, onion ring sauce with a choice of red wine sauce or peppercorn sauce. I chose the red wine sauce. The doneness was medium. First without the sauce, hmm, I think they marinated it in saltwater before grilling, it was a bit too intense maybe?? I was a bit surprised by the spicy chorizo risotto. For dessert, I chose a dish where I could try a little bit of everything. So happy. This is a place for a date, right? There were also two cute couples celebrating their birthdays at the same time, it was adorable. This is the perfect place for a girls' night out, or a fancy outing with friends. The meat was very tough and the taste was just okay. However, the other dishes besides the meat were delicious! The bread was not that great. We had made a reservation for a birthday and the staff had prepared a nice table for us. The service was excellent.
