Osaka Metro Tenjinbashi Rokuchome Station is about a 3-4 minute walk south from exit 12. There was a line in front of the restaurant, so I waited. Once inside, I was seated at the counter. I filled out a paper listing the sushi I wanted and handed it in. I started with an assortment of 8 pieces of nigiri sushi. After a short wait, the sushi was brought out. Each piece of sushi was served in pairs. I dipped them in soy sauce and enjoyed the finely cut seaweed on top. The gizzard shad had a nice texture and a delicate flavor. The yellowtail belly was large and allowed me to savor the meat and fat. The striped jack had a unique texture and a refined taste. The amberjack had a great texture and a nice amount of fat. The scallop had a concentrated flavor. The surf clam had a delicate texture and a refreshing taste. The eel had a rich flavor and a nice balance of meat and sauce. The fatty tuna melted in my mouth and had a great balance of meat and fat. I'll have a little more. The mackerel had a nice texture and flavor, with grated ginger as a nice touch. I finished with a hand roll filled with chopped natto and green onions. It was a nice way to end the meal. There were other sushi and specialty dishes I wanted to try, but I'll save them for next time. Thank you for the meal.

Since it was after the lunch rush, this place was not crowded when I visited as my second stop of the day. I decided to end my meal with some sushi. I ordered the following: Otoro, grilled eel, seared salmon, sea urchin, and red miso soup. Wow, it was delicious. Consistently good taste.

It's been a while since I visited Tenma, so I came to this restaurant. The fish here really doesn't have a strong smell. There must be a reason for the long line, but I think it's because of the freshness. The service is friendly and I want to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I last visited this sushi restaurant. The rice is small, making it easy to eat. Every piece of sushi has a good balance and tastes delicious. The tamago (egg) was surprisingly very tasty. Also, the tea was delicious. The staff's customer service was very pleasant.

I wanted to eat something delicious around Umeda during work, so I asked where to go. I was recommended to visit the shopping street near Temma Station. Osaka really has a lot of delicious food, living up to its reputation as the nation's kitchen. When I arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 pm, there was a line of about 12 people outside. It seemed like a popular spot among both domestic and international tourists. It might get even busier on weekends or during peak times, so visiting outside of those times would be a good idea. After waiting for about 45 minutes, I finally got seated. The popularity of the restaurant is due to its high cost performance and freshness. The thickness of the fatty tuna was truly surprising, and it melted in my mouth. Overall, everything was delicious, but the scallop and yellowtail were my 2nd and 3rd favorites of the day. They were incredibly fresh and had a delightful bounce when chewed. I had been curious for a while and finally got to visit. There was a line, but the turnover inside the restaurant was quick, so the wait wasn't as long as expected. I have visited the branch inside the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street arcade many times, but this is my first visit to the popular Osaka sushi restaurant "Harukoma Main Store" a little further away. Every time I pass by on my way to the nearby familiar butcher shop, I see a long line and always gave up. The branch has counter seats and table seats on the first floor, and additional table seats on the second floor, so the turnover is fast and you can get in relatively quickly even if you line up. However, the main store has fewer seats and chefs, so the line tends to get congested. I arrived 10 minutes before the opening at 11:00 with a determination, and there was no one in line. The counter seats inside were already full, and it seemed like the curtain had been raised early. There were no customers at the three table seats, so I took a seat at the farthest 4-person table alone. I ordered alcohol verbally and quickly wrote down the sushi I wanted on paper, which I handed to the waitress. A well-chilled bottle of Asahi Super Dry beer arrived promptly, and I poured it into a glass myself and enjoyed it. I feel happy to be able to drink beer from noon. The uni and ikura were served on one plate, but each had 2 pieces. I had selected 10 items thinking of having a light lunch, but I overlooked the fact that it was 2 pieces per item on the menu. So, a total of 20 pieces, and the beer was a large bottle, so it seemed like I was going to have a hearty lunch (sweating). Five minutes later, the remaining 8 items, 16 pieces, were brought in on a long plate. I rearranged them on a separate plate for taking photos, brushed soy sauce with a brush, and proceeded to eat. Originally, I was not good with raw fish, so the selection mainly consisted of shellfish, squid, and octopus, with only tuna. The secret to the popularity that causes a line even before opening is the affordability, quality of the ingredients, and taste. Previously, you could have a full stomach for around 2,000 yen per person, even if you had a light drink, at this Osaka sushi restaurant, but with the increase in inbound tourists, more foreigners are visiting, and the current price increase has raised the threshold. The sushi rice and toppings are small, but after eating 20 pieces, it's a luxurious lunch costing around 5,000 yen, and my stomach is full. Thank you for the meal!

I didn't realize the goodness when I came here 10 years ago, but this time I noticed it! I ordered eel, golden eye snapper, tuna cheek meat sashimi, and sesame garlic soy sauce for sea bream. They were all delicious, but the sesame garlic sea bream was surprisingly delicious! It was like a menu from Sushiro, but it was completely superior and delicious. I was able to enter with a 15-minute wait at 10:30, so it was great. I'm glad I live in Temma.

It's always crowded, so we arrived around 3 PM when there were about 5 groups ahead of us. We waited in line and were greeted by a friendly staff member and a skilled sushi chef working at full speed. The sushi came out quickly and was delicious and reasonably priced. It's worth the wait to line up here!

The pandemic made things easy, but this morning the insane lines were back. I arrived an hour before opening, but couldn't get in on the first round. They usually open around 10:30, but this time it was exactly 11 o'clock. As a result, I waited another 30 minutes and got in at 11:30. There was no shortage of fresh sushi in the morning, and everything I ordered today was to my liking. The sashimi platter had fatty tuna, striped jack, octopus, abalone, and conger eel. The fatty tuna was like a drink, the striped jack and octopus were fresh and crunchy, the conger eel had the perfect texture, and the abalone was juicy and crunchy. The sushi had small rice balls with a perfect texture and sweetness that matched my taste. The tuna and fatty tuna were delicious as always, and the thick cut and fatty richness of the eel was perfect. The fatty tuna and striped jack were the highlights. Finally, the egg sushi with a Kansai-style dashi broth was also to my liking.

During the Obon holiday, my family of three decided to visit this restaurant. We arrived at 10:00 AM and there were already 17 to 18 people in line. The restaurant opened at 10:50 AM, with a line of over 40 people. Since we were a group of three, we had to wait for the second round. We were finally seated around 11:25 AM, and the sushi arrived promptly. We ordered a platter with five types of sashimi (otoro, abalone, conger eel, octopus, and amberjack), as well as tuna, premium eel, eel, sweet shrimp, fatty tuna, amberjack belly, seared salmon belly, horse mackerel, fatty tuna seared, egg, and amberjack sushi. The rice was small but you could have as many as you wanted. The tuna, fatty tuna, premium eel, and horse mackerel were outstanding. The sashimi platter was also excellent! The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, and the chefs were lively. We spent about 30 minutes there and the bill came out to around 5,000 yen per person. We left feeling very satisfied. During their visit to Japan, even world rock stars are visiting this famous shop in Osaka's shopping district. I went for lunch with my middle school son and it was packed even on a weekday at 1 pm. They have both counter and table seating. The regular portion costs 1000 yen, while the large portion costs 1700 yen and includes sea urchin, salmon roe, herring roe, and abalone in red miso soup with fish. There is an option to add tuna yukke and flounder edge. The edge was firm and had a good portion, making it a great value. When I ordered the crab and shrimp tartare, a foreign family sitting next to me asked about the menu. This is a unique menu that you won't find elsewhere, with a homemade tartare sauce flavor and plenty of boiled eggs, shrimp, and crab. Overall, it's a sushi restaurant where you should definitely wait in line for the best value.

While exploring the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, I came across a long line at Edomae Sushi. This sushi restaurant is the main store, and the nearby branch also had a long line, so I decided to wait in line. Despite the scorching heat, I waited for an hour. While waiting, I had the chance to talk to regular customers who mentioned that they always come here. They recommended coming early for lunch as the sushi tends to run out by evening. The sushi was very affordable and the portions were generous. It was delicious. The pricing was based on one plate with two pieces. It was really cheap. Since I couldn't sit at the counter, the dishes were brought to me all at once. It wasn't sophisticated sushi, but more traditional and affordable for the common people. The sign says "Edomae Sushi," but it didn't quite match my idea of Edomae sushi. Nevertheless, it was delicious. The eel liver was perfectly seasoned, unlike others I've had that were too sweet. It suited my taste perfectly and was incredibly delicious. I was also happy to see water eggplant on the menu at this time of year. There was only one type of sake available, and it was served at room temperature.

The night at Hakan's was lively and bustling. The food was delicious and cheap, but the beer was a bit expensive. Personally, I thought the hidden gem was even better! The hamo chili and liver sashimi we had as appetizers were delicious. The sushi was not as high-end as premium sushi, but it was still tasty and gave us a feeling of having a good meal in Osaka. The restaurant was busy with additional orders, so it might be better to place all your orders at once in the beginning.

I visited the restaurant around 4:00 PM on a weekday. There were about 4 groups waiting in line, and I was able to get in within 2-30 minutes. I ordered tamago, hamachi, unagi, kanpachi, otoro, and gobomaki, along with akadashi soup. Each fish order came with 2 pieces. The total cost was ¥2,915. The otoro was a bit too fatty for my taste, but I think that's just how otoro is at any restaurant. The akadashi soup was delicious, with the fish in it being tasty as well. I think I'll order asari next time. The sushi here has a good balance of rice and toppings, so you don't get too full on rice alone. The popular sushi here is worth trying! If you want to fill up more, I recommend ordering rolls. The gobomaki was surprisingly delicious. You can also ask for a wet towel here. Next time, I want to try the salmon belly aburi, sweet shrimp, ikura, kinmedai, and shellfish.

I arrived a little after 11 am on a holiday and waited in line for about 30 minutes before getting in. If you go around this time, there are still not many items sold out. I always make sure to eat the abalone liver here, as it's not often found in other sushi restaurants. Also, if you go late, the flounder fin is usually sold out. The grilled eel was incredibly thick and everything I ate was delicious.

The pieces of sushi are large, have a good texture, and are very delicious. I was particularly surprised by the size and tenderness of the eel. This was my third visit to the restaurant, and I arrived on a Monday around 11 am, but there was already a line. I waited for about 45 minutes before being seated. While waiting in line, I filled out my order on a piece of paper and handed it to the staff, so the sushi arrived quickly once I was seated. Last time I was here, I saw someone next to me order the clam miso soup, which looked delicious, so I decided to try it this time. It had plenty of clams and was very tasty! I definitely want to order it again next time I come. The sushi was as delicious as always, especially the fatty tuna and eel. I had a set with sushi and shrimp rolls, and it cost just under 5000 yen. I left feeling satisfied!
