Happy Road, the arcade shopping street in front of Oyama Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Let's stroll through this popular shopping street and buy a sandwich at this shop. I have bought it a few times before, and both the bread and the filling are delicious. Although it is a bit pricey, it goes well with beer. There are many varieties to choose from, so it's hard to decide. Let's go for a pork cutlet sandwich. And another one will be a regular ham and egg sandwich. Let's take them home and try them. The pork cutlet is tender and the sauce flavor is slightly light, but it's a delicious cutlet sandwich as expected. The ham and egg sandwich is also excellent. Ham, egg, and lettuce. Simple but delicious. This shop never disappoints. I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in Oyama.

Happy Road Shopping Street in Oyama. A popular sandwich shop in a lively shopping street where you can enjoy a variety of delicious take-out sandwiches. After having a drink in Oyama, I decided to visit the shopping street and get a take-out sandwich. While chicken cutlet and pork cutlet sandwiches are popular, I bought a simple potato salad sandwich and a special sandwich with egg and ham. Let's eat them right away. Sandwiches also go well with beer, which is nice. The potato salad sandwich has a classic taste with just the right amount of mayonnaise. The special sandwich, consisting of egg, ham, cheese, and lettuce, is a luxurious and delicious combination. It may be a bit small for a meal, but it's perfect with beer. I'll try the cutlet sandwiches next time.

I visited a takeout restaurant around 7:30 pm on the weekend. Despite being a well-known shop that stays open until late at night, they had a wide variety of not only meal sandwiches but also dessert sandwiches. I found a great deal on a service sandwich, which had a blueberry cream and tomato filling, and decided to buy it for breakfast the next morning. The blueberry sandwich had a simple taste like blueberry jam, not too sweet, and was enjoyable to eat without feeling guilty about the sweetness. The vegetable sandwich had a moderate amount of filling, and even though some time had passed, the bread had not absorbed too much moisture and was still delicious. The sandwiches were made with thin slices of bread, a traditional style, and the fillings were not overloaded like many modern sandwiches. It's wonderful that you can still buy a regular sandwich that has been available for a long time during the shop's long opening hours.

In the Happy Road of Oyama (south exit of Oyama Station, arcade side shopping street), there is a sandwich shop that operates from 6:00 to 21:00. It used to be open 24 hours a day, always available, but now it seems to have shortened its hours. In 1967, the first sandwich factory in Japan was established. The headquarters is located in Oyama at Sankyuu Sandwich, which also operates other brands such as "BLOSSOM & BOUQUET," totaling 15 stores. The main ingredients such as bread, eggs, potatoes, tuna, chicken cutlets, and sauces are all original ingredients made in-house. The fillings are indeed delicious, each giving a homemade feel. The Special Sandwich costs 330 yen. In November 22 years ago, the largest "MUJI store" in the Kanto region opened in Itabashi Minamicho, prompting a reevaluation of the "Itabashi's Best" selected by residents. (It had been a while since the lineup was completely renewed since being selected in 2003). Inside MUJI, there is a corner dedicated to "Itabashi's Best," which includes K's Kitchen's "Special Sandwich." It contains a combination of potatoes, eggs, ham, and cheese, all stars of the sandwich. Each filling is delicious, but the gentle seasoning allows all the flavors to harmonize perfectly. If you are unsure, this is the one to go for. The generous portions of potatoes and cheese provide a satisfying experience. However, if you prefer a light and delicate seasoning, I recommend trying each ingredient separately as a sandwich. Thank you for the meal!

There is a service sandwich product placed on the showcase. It contains croquette sandwich and egg sandwich. The price is 240 yen including tax. The bread is fluffy, which is important. If it's freshly made, it might taste even better. The croquette leaves an impression of being well done. The egg paste has a common, typical taste.

I bought a tamago sand (egg sandwich) (๑'ᴗ'๑) When I asked about the tonkatsu and chicken katsu on sale, I found out they come with karashi mayo (spicy mustard mayo) (°∇°;) The person behind me ordered tonkatsu for 420 yen, but I let them know that it's on sale for 240 yen (*'▽'*) They were happy about it (ゝω・) There weren't many options left in the evening, but I got permission to take a photo for posting on Tabelog (a restaurant review website) (>_<) They accept PayPay as well♪

Tobu Tojo Line, Oyama Station, Happy Road Oyama Shopping Street is one of the bustling shopping streets in Tokyo. However, there are ongoing construction of condominiums in some parts of the shopping street, redevelopment projects next to the shopping street, and the elevated railway project at Oyama Station has started. It seems like there will be significant changes in the next 10 years. In the middle of the shopping street, there is K's Kitchen, a sandwich shop with a yellow flag. They display various sandwiches in the refrigerated case. I bought the Big Bacon Egg for 330 yen and the Ham Cutlet Special for 330 yen. The sandwiches are moist and have a homemade feel. They are delicious and convey a sense of craftsmanship.

At Oyama Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, there is a popular shopping street called Happy Road. I found this shop while taking a walk on Happy Road on a Sunday morning. Most of the shops were still closed, so I was happy to see this one open. I had tried their takeout once before, and they offer more than just regular menu items like egg sandwiches and ham sandwiches. They had a choice between croquette sandwich or ham cutlet sandwich for their 200 yen service sandwich, and I chose the ham cutlet. For the main dish, I selected the chicken cutlet and pork fillet cutlet made from Saga Ariake chicken. I was also interested in the Mexican cutlet. I took the lunch box to go and tried the Saga Ariake chicken cutlet first. It was delicious as expected, with a good texture and a great match with the sauce. I thought 350 yen for a sandwich was a bit pricey, but this one was definitely worth it. Next, I tried the pork fillet cutlet, which was also excellent. The tender pork fillet was tasty, and I found it satisfying for 360 yen. Both were delicious, but personally, I preferred the chicken cutlet. They had other unique sandwiches as well, so I plan to try different items next time.

In 1967, "Sankyo" was the first sandwich specialty factory in Japan. Their sandwich specialty shop is located on Happy Road in Oyama, Itabashi. It's known for their mix rolls, which have been a favorite since the 110 yen days. The price has now increased to 150 yen, but the quality remains top-notch. Each mix roll is unique, with this particular one featuring croquette, omelette, and Napolitan filling. The cabbage adds a nice crunch to the sandwich. The balance of flavors between the ingredients and the bread is what makes these mix rolls stand out. While trendy foods come and go, classic flavors like these will always have a special place. Despite the price increase, the mix rolls at Sankyo are still worth it. Highly recommended for a tasty and satisfying snack.

I have passed by this sandwich shop a few times on my way to work, and I finally decided to try it for lunch. I bought two sandwiches, one with egg and the other with nostalgic croquette. I wish the egg sandwich had more filling. The nostalgic croquette sandwich lived up to its name, with a good amount of croquette as the star, complemented by a modest amount of cabbage and tasty sauce. I would like to revisit this place if I have the chance!

After leaving a cafe in Ikebukuro, I had lunch at "Larshine Spaia Marumya". After finishing my meal, I wasn't sure what to do next... Then I remembered a news story I saw the day before about a dumpling restaurant that boldly expanded into Tokyo during the pandemic. I wasn't particularly interested in the restaurant itself, but I had been curious about the Oyama shopping street where it was located. So, I took the Tobu Tojo Line from Ikebukuro and arrived at "Oyama Station". When I exited the ticket gate, I saw the shopping street right in front of me. It's called the "Oyama Happy Road Shopping Street". There weren't many delis or the like, but I walked along the longer shopping street towards the end where Kawagoe Kaido is. While browsing around, one shop caught my eye: "K's Kitchen Happy Road Store". It's a sandwich specialty shop with various sandwiches lined up in the showcase. I decided to have sandwiches for dinner tonight. I bought the following two items: - Mexican Chicken 300 yen - 5 types of vegetable salad 300 yen I purchased these two items! "Mexican Chicken" seems to be chicken flakes mixed with tomatoes in salsa sauce! It also had lettuce and cheese, and was quite filling! It wasn't very spicy. "5 types of vegetable salad" consisted of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, potatoes, and onions. It was like a potato salad, but the potatoes weren't the main focus, and it tasted delicious as a sandwich. It would be nice to have such a shop in my own neighborhood! I usually only eat sandwiches from convenience stores, so I admire neighborhoods with shops like this. Thank you for the meal!

K's Kitchen offers a wide variety of sandwiches. I tried the Jalapeño Sandwich. I only associated jalapeños with Mos Burger before (lol). The steamed chicken and jalapeño combination is perfect, with a spicy kick that adults would enjoy. This would go well with a highball. Thank you for the meal!

This is a sandwich shop located in the Happy Road Oyama Shopping Street. I happened to pass by and decided to stop by because it caught my interest. It is said to be a directly operated store of a sandwich factory, with its headquarters located at the north exit of Oyama Station. I purchased the following sandwiches: Oyama Jidori chicken cutlet sandwich and fruit sandwich. The sandwiches here are mainly made with side dishes. Compared to the occasional use of "Märchen", a sandwich specialty store, I found it quite different. Personally, I preferred the bread and fillings at "Märchen". (April 2021)

- We ordered the Mexican Chicken (290 yen), Potetama (240 yen), Special (290 yen), and Tartar Fish (300 yen) for takeout. - We ended up spending 1,120 yen for two people, which is around 560 yen per person. - When we went to Arai Butcher Shop to buy ham cutlets, we noticed that they were selling delicious-looking sandwiches next door. The sandwich menu had a variety of options that we don't often see, so we decided to buy some to take home without hesitation. - All of the sandwiches had a wonderful fluffy texture and a smooth buttery taste. They had a subtle sweetness that made us feel happy. - The Mexican Chicken sandwich had a slightly spicy flavor, reminiscent of a pizza sandwich but without the heaviness of pizza crust, making it very easy to eat. - The Tartar Fish sandwich tasted like we were eating a meat sandwich, but with the pleasant surprise of it being fish, adding a healthy twist. - They also had other unique options like Blueberry Cheese, Big Bacon Egg, Basil Chicken & Cheese, Cream Cheese Ham Fry, and Special Tonkatsu, among many others. The variety of sandwiches, including the unconventional ones, was truly impressive and made us happy just looking at them. - If we were locals, we would love to buy these sandwiches every day for lunch instead of convenience store food. It would be wonderful and enviable. - We were delighted to come across a "town's delicious sandwich shop" after a long time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was taking a leisurely stroll in the Oyama area and suddenly felt nostalgic, so I decided to stop by. Back in my student days, I used to ride my bike to school and often visited this shop on my way back. It's been decades since I last visited, but it hasn't changed at all. The display case was filled with a variety of sandwiches, and there were also rolls with generous fillings on a cart next to it. Everything looked delicious... The ones I chose this time were the tuna sandwich and the ham sandwich. I brought them home to try... - Tuna Sandwich (260 yen): The tuna was packed generously, not greasy at all, very easy to eat and delicious. The combination of lettuce and cucumber was perfect. It was also satisfyingly filling. - Ham Sandwich (240 yen): Soft ham with plenty of mayonnaise sauce, also very filling. It paired well with the moist bread and was very tasty. Since it's relatively close to my home, I might stop by for a sandwich when out for a stroll. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The Daizan Happy Road is getting a makeover. Many shops have relocated. I look forward to seeing what it will be like once the construction is finished! Whenever I go shopping, I always end up stopping by this sandwich shop. Their bread is fluffy and they have a wide variety of options. My sons love the roll sandwiches from the outdoor wagon, so I always end up buying those as well. I personally love their egg sandwiches, they are consistently delicious. Before I know it, I've spent over 1500 yen because I can't resist choosing so many different sandwiches. It's always exciting to come home and enjoy these sandwiches.

I tried the "Mix Roll (hamburger, tonkatsu, Napolitan)" from K's Kitchen Happy Road Oyama in Oyama-cho, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo! The nearest station is Oyama Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, about a 7-minute walk from the south exit of the station. I bought it to go. The Mix Roll includes a soft hamburger made mainly of pork, a crispy tonkatsu, and a tangy tomato ketchup-flavored onion Napolitan, all wrapped in fluffy coppe bread. It's like a Western-style plate sandwiched together! I couldn't resist and finished it all in one go. I originally planned to just take a quick look, but when I saw the hamburger, I couldn't help but make an impulse purchase! The store seems like the kind where you might end up buying a lot when you're a little tipsy.

A sandwich shop that is open 24 hours, located in the middle of a shopping street, is often featured in magazines for its uniqueness. With a wide variety of options, it can be hard to choose, but today I went with the mentaiko potato & egg sandwich. The homemade, simple taste was comforting and satisfying.

I found a shop while walking on Happy Road early in the morning (*^^*). I was planning to eat a hearty meal at lunchtime, so I bought a delicious vegetable sandwich to hold me over until then! Since the weather is nice, I will enjoy it at the nearby park (^_^)v. The fluffy sandwich filled with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, seasoned with a spicy mayo, was a perfect match! It was delicious. Thank you, "K's Kitchen"!

Walking along the Happy Road in the mountains, I came across a sandwich shop that always has customers, although there was no line. I decided to stop by and purchased a small pack of sandwiches to take home. Inside the egg spread was a burdock salad, and another sandwich had a flavorful teriyaki chicken filling. The variety of sandwiches showed a homemade touch.
