I arrived at hannoc around 5:30 PM on Sunday. There were a few empty seats, but even at this time, the place was about 70-80% full. Impressive! However, since I just stopped by on my way home, I decided to get takeout this time.
---Taste Impressions---
【Cakes】
Pistachio Shortcake Takeout/832 yen (tax included)
Eclair Takeout/637 yen
【Baked Goods】
Earl Grey Sablé Takeout/637 yen
Caramel Pie Takeout/616 yen
I ordered these items this time. As my partner was about to pay, I noticed a limited-time Coffee Jelly Latte, so I added that as well. I drank it on the way home, and it wasn't too bitter, very easy to drink. The coffee jelly part was very authentic and rich, but not too bitter, which was nice.
Regarding the cakes:
【Pistachio Shortcake】
The acidity of the strawberries goes well with the cake. It looks heavy, but it's actually very light and easy to eat.
【Eclair】
The sweet and sour taste of grapefruit is very summery, and it pairs well with lychee. Personally, I preferred the Eclair's taste!
As for the baked goods, I haven't tried them yet, so I will try them now.
【Earl Grey Sablé】
There is a subtle hint of Earl Grey in the aftertaste, not overpowering. It's very elegant and incredibly delicious. It comes in a pack of 9, but I want more.
【Caramel Pie】
Absolutely delicious. I can't resist it...! The crispy texture of the pie crust and the balance of flavors are really good. It's labeled as 60g, and there are 15 pieces in a pack, but I want more.
The cakes are delicious, of course, but I especially love the baked goods and often buy them. I used to think it was popular because it looks good, but after actually tasting it, it's now my favorite among all the cake shops I've been to! I often see long lines, but it's understandable. The prices are not too high, and for those who haven't visited yet, I highly recommend this place. Thank you as always. Bon appétit!
